We went for lunch, as our first meal in Chicago. Man, they set the bar HIGH! Our first round of drinks were a wine and cocktail. My Riesling was good, a little on the sweet side. We started with the charcuterie, with 3 meats as well as the 2 options of cheese. I described what types I like and don't, and our server chose for us. Thank you so much for doing that! Your selections were delicious and perfect. My husband ordered the French Onion soup and said that it was unlike anything he's ever had - amazing! The charcuterie and cheese was quite filling, so we shared the steak & frites. It was out of this world! The steak and sauce were sooooo yum. The fries are the best that I've ever had.I overheard another table order an espresso so I finished with an espresso martini, add baileys for some creaminess.If you get the chance ro eat here, do it! The food and service were of a different level.

I came for brunch last Sunday and had a great time. The hostess made an effort to pronounce my full name, which gave me a great first impression. She recommended that we enjoy the weather, so we decided to sit outside.The staff is very courteous, ensuring a delightful experience and great food. I indulged in their affordable and delicious bottomless mimosa.Excellent option for spending quality time with friends, celebrating special occasions, or enjoying a delightful brunch.

Tourist trap. Really tough steak frites, I also watched other diners struggle. Pan sauce wasn't completely mixed. Wife's coq au vin lacked anything French other than name.Service was great. But sinew in my steak is just sloppy.

Might have a new favorite restaurant... Bistronomic was OUTSTANDING! Service was very professional and personable, with the head chef stopping by to check in with customers. The food is to die for, especially with how tender the lamb was. I highly recommend trying the wine and cheese flight pairing too! There is seating inside, outside, and in their heated patio. Noice level was perfect and while tables are close you don't feel overwhelmed by noise.

I came here during restaurant week on the recommendation of a friend. It was a Wednesday night and the place was packed and buzzing. The first course I had was the chioggia and yellow beet salad and it was fantastic. I've never had a salad quite like that before and it has piqued my interest in similar dishes. The second course was the beef bourguignon. Considering this is a staple of French cuisine, and the fact I've never had it before, I was looking forward to this dish. It was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The price for the restaurant week dinner menu was $42.00 and the price for the beef bourguignon on its own is usually $37.00. In my opinion, that is way too expensive. I don't know if I would even pay $27.00 for it. I do realize the preparation of it is complicated, but still. The third course was the griotte cherry diplomate and it was fantastic! It was legitimately one of the best desserts I have ever had and the highlight of the meal. It reminded me of a bread pudding/panna cotta hybrid. Two desserts I love on their own. Overall, it was a solid meal that I enjoyed. The beef bourguignon was a tad underwhelming and way too expensive on its own. I am more than open to coming back here for brunch, though.

This was a fancy little french restaurant, and the ambiance was very nice. The waiter was very nice, but he did feel a bit too formal at times. We came for brunch, got the salmon avocado toast, chicken crepes, and omelettes. the salmon on the avocado toast was really refreshing, but the omelettes fell a bit flat. Overall, the food was average, but for the price and bougie-ness of the place, we felt like it could've been better.

This was a treat for me during restaurant week. I'd never had escargot before and got to try it here. DELECTABLE! I started with a delicious cup of decaf coffee, and then moved on to the French Spritzer which was delicious! I also had the Mussels Marinieres & Frites, both of which were great. And that Chocolate Hazelnut Bar for dessert was FANTASTIC! The service was perfect and the ambiance was very nice. I enjoyed this decadent meal very much. It was overall, a lovely meal and time with friends.

Although the food was good, we were really disappointed by the service. The waiter was really rude. We asked for some hot sauce for our Bloody Mary and he went on a rant about how it was a French restaurant and hot sauce of course was not available only to produce it 5 minutes later after denying its availability.He was rude about filling our bottomless mimosas as well. The other waiters seemed pretty nice though, so please don't hold it against them.The claims that this restaurant has many vegetarian options is also not true. It's a French restaurant after all! The ambiance was very casual and there was nothing great about it. There are other better French restaurants in the city honestly. I will definitely not visit again!

This is a cute spot and our young sweet server Mateo was nice. We were seated on the sidewalk patio brunch which was very nice and spaced well for people watching. The food was good and endless brunch mimosas. We devoured the Smoked Salmon Club, Banana Pancakes, Blueberry Pancakes both w/ side of bacon cook crispy and 2 eggs each. Then top it off with an Espresso Martini, awesome way to start a beautiful day in ChicagoGreediest at all the food before I could get pictures ‍

Jane and I returned to this lovely venue Sunday last. We had a wonderful meal with outstanding service. The veal was superb and Jane very much enjoyed the escargot. The gentleman who served us (from Albania originally; solely as an identifer) was most professional and timely in his service. Jane and I plan to return early Fall when next we plan to be downtown Chicago.
