Biscuits Foothills

We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and were seated right away. Very friendly staff, good portions on everything and our meal came very quickly. The pigs in a blanket were different than I'm used to. It was 2 short but very fat sausage links inside 2 really big pancakes.

The managing waitress, whoever the older woman was, was soooooo lacking people skills, customer service skills, and general hospitality. When she brought our coffee she had the cup and the pot and said "here." She pulled out menus out of our hands while we were ordering, and after we got our food we never had anyone come back to our table. When my kids were trying to order she cut them off and tried to fill in their order for them. Not great at listening. Right before she came to take our order she stood there and yelled at another waitress about bussing one of the tables. Just out in the middle of the restaurant for everyone to hear. Nothing like being berated publicly next to customers. When it came time for the bill it was just tossed on the table without a word. Good was fine but my god. Skip this place purely in the one rude staff person. Her daughter was great but she only did drinks and cashed people out. There's also a can't miss sign on the door that says "We are short staffed. Please be patient. If you can't be patient, ask for an application."

The food was good. My Caesar salad was so good. Tons of chicken. Served in a tacos sell bowl. So yummy. Everyone said the food was good. Service was good. Only complaint. Kids meals do not come with a drink and they chard $3.50 for adult soda and $3.50 for kids sodas. Also when you pay with credit card they charge an undisclosed service fee. When we asked what the service charge was for paying With credit card we were told it was a percentage. Yeah. Totally get that. What is the percentage. They didn't know. Lame. The restaurant itself is barn farm themed. Nice outdoor seating. I really liked my salad and would order to go sometime.

Absolute yum yum yum! I got the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and bacon. I had it ordered for pick up. No fuss on that. They had everything ready and right. I do wish the gravy held better against the biscuits but honestly I would've eaten it smashed up. Soooo yummy.

Omg this place is amazing! The biscuits are fluffy and delicious and the gravy is the perfect consistency, creamy, thick and flavorful. Bloody Mary was awesome. Had great service. Can't wait to go back!

The SOS is the way to go! Treat yourself to a screwdriver too because YOLO Waitress was fast paced and thorough. As far as ambiance, it has the Cracker Barrel country style.

Consistently great food. Their breakfasts are great. Their cook is on the target every single time when cooking eggs. (If you like an over medium egg, you understand what I'm talking about)Crispy bacon can be way overdone, so just ask them not to serve it "wiggly". The country potatoes are really yummy. I have a few favorite waiters - one not so much. This place is always jamming for breakfast, but the wait never seems too long. They have good gluten free bread/toast. The bummer is that it's a surprise $2 up charge per meal for it. Yes, surprise.

My food was tasty. I got like a biscuits and gravy combo. I ate it all, the potatoes were my favorite. My friend and I came in after a hike and it was pushing fairly close to end of brunch- about an hour and half but they had us in and out in under. The staff was nice and quick. It was super loud but it was also busy. It started to clear up and quiet down toward the end of our meal. I'd go back if I were in the area.

My husband & I frequently come here for breakfast or lunch. Their namesake biscuits are delightful. In this picture I got the crispy fried catfish. They said it's cornmeal batter, but it's still thicker than I'd like the batter for my fried fish. Still tastes good. The sweet potato fries and the tartar sauce are great. The coleslaw is mayonnaise base, like most places. It was a little too sweet for me.

God Awful!I don't like to trash local businesses....BUT. OMG from the barely lukewarm coffee to the heap of what was described as steel cut oatmeal that was warmed over mush. I couldn't even eat it. And I had just hiked 3 miles! Add in the sour waitress who seemed p-oed that I asked for a cup of hot coffee. She also didn't ask why I didn't eat the oatmeal, just took it away. Oh well, not her problem. The bathrooms were clean, at least they have that going for them! Wish I had taken a pic of the oatmeal. Sorry. Maybe it was an off day because I see good reviews.
