Birrieria La Loteria

The staff here is absolutely incredible. I wish I could give them 100 stars. The lovely ladies that took my order were so sweet and friendly. I felt like I was talking with old friends. I had my 3 year old son in my car, while we waited for the food I sat with him so we could blast the AC. (They give you a beeper so you know when your food is ready.) I ordered a good amount of food and it was ready in under 15min. When the beeper went off my son refused to part with it because something something toddlers and loud noises something something. Well, the very kind ladies from the front and a gentleman (cook maybe?) brought the food to our car for me, as they noticed I was fighting a losing battle. My son was happy to let go of the beeper once he smelled the food. My mouth watered the whole way home, and the way it tasted far surpassed even the smell. I couldn't believe I'd never heard of this please before! Incredible food! We ordered 4 Birria tacos, the Birria California burrito, and a plate of the Birria grilled cheese. We had leftovers for 2 days, but ended up finishing every last bite. This is super rare for me as my toxic trait is absolutely bringing food home or getting it to go, and leaving it in my fridge only to clean out later. Not the food from Birrieria La Lotteria. Highly, highly recommend giving them a try!!

birria quesadilla was a solid 8.5/10!I feel like it could a little too salty for some people but then again everything in San Diego is LOLMeat was tender and juicy, and the quesadilla itself was nice and crispy when it came out to our table. (Don't wait too long or it'll go soggy!)Our order came with a side of consume, pickled onions, and limes which helped cut through the richness of everything else so that was a nice touch. It's just a food truck located in the college grove area and it's pretty hot during the day but they have umbrellas so that's a plus.

Food is 10/10 every time. Never misses. I truly prefer coming here over any other birria in San Diego. The consume is truly the besttttt I've ever had. Customer service 10/10 as well. I love supporting small family businesses and this family deserves it all! Samantha, the owner's daughter, is the sweetest cashier, always makes you feel welcomed and is super friendly to everyone. The owners are some of the most hard working people I've met. Love the convenience of the lemon grove truck but their location in Imperial Beach is open a lot later for when I have antojos in the evening. I bring everyone I know here and have never heard a negative review. Also the chili oil is amazinggggg

One word "cheese pull" ok that's two words. But oh wow the Birria Grilled cheese is amazing. I also really enjoyed the ramen. I would for sure come back. The prices are really good and the portions are massive. Also don't forget to grab the Agua Fresca's they are so delicious.

Service is wonderful here. Birria was very tasty. The hot sauce is home made and bomb, they have a spicier one upon request. Plenty of options to pick from.Ordered the birria ramen and that enough for 2-3 ppl in my opinion. it was good but i don't think i would order that again. The tacos were amazing.Need to stop by again soon!They are there until they sell out.

This place has Theeeee BEST Grilled Cheese Birria! Oh my gerd! If you haven't tried birria in a grilled cheese this should be the first place to have that experience! You won't be disappointed! And it just so happens the owner is the original creator of the grilled cheese birria.We had the tostada verde, fish taco, quesabirria and grilled cheese birria. Everything was bomb.But that grilled cheese tho!

Came over here and had the birria nachos and it was really good. The flavor was perfect for me. I will be coming back again.

Food will not disappoint Quality over quantity They are located in a parking lot across from the Toyota dealership

The gentleman at the imperial beach location explained each item and showed us photos of each menu item that were on the wall. I didn't catch his name but he was definitely friendly and welcoming. The portions were huge I had to finish my food the next day because it was just so filling. Consome has a different flavor than what I'm used to; but we will definitely be back.
