Birrieria Jalisco

We made an early Saturday Morning visit to Birrieria Jalisco. However, not early enough because others had the same idea!Apparently you have to get your ass out of bed pretty damn early in the morning to assure yourself the first daily sampling of tasty Birria. The place is small with a few seats to dine in. However for the most part, this was a beehive operation of carryout customers taking their Birria home to enjoy. Definitely a neighborhood hot spot serving locals who hope to keep it that way!

My friends and I were trying to go to the Quesabirria Jalisco Tacos down the road in McKinley Park, but they had *JUST* sold out for the day, so they closed early. We were bummed but searched around for options in the area. And this place popped up. We headed over here, and ordered different items such as the consume, a carne en su jugo combo, and three quesabirria tacos. The food came out pretty quickly, but I don't feel like it was that great. I really liked the carne en su jugo but I feel like the tacos were bland. I had higher expectations for sure. Also, to make matters worse, the lady serving us picked up the plates at the end of the table slantedly and the grease from the Birria tacos spilled onto my new pants. She didn't seem very apologetic about it other than just her grabbing a wet paper towel for me to dab on it. I honestly didn't feel the best about tipping afterwards, but I know mistakes happen. It just wasn't a great feeling eating subpar food and then getting grease on new clothes not by your fault. I was a bit shocked when the total came out to $41+ without the tip. I wouldn't really go out of my way to return here.

This is one of those places where ya know someone who's ranting and raging about it. I was brought here to solely try the birria soup. And I did just that. Ps. They do not have rice. Ordered a large birria with onions/cilantro. No big store front. No bright lights. Just a causal birria place.

I ordered from this restaurant on Door dash. The food is good, the meat tastes juicy and not dry. Especially the goat meat or the steak meat. Overall, I would recommend this if you are looking for a good taco place for goat meat.

OMG! I had some of the best tacos here. I've only had Birria tacos once from another spot and they were alright, but I haven't had them like this. I ordered the Quesabirria Taco Combo which included 3 tacos, the soup and a side of Coca Cola with a lime. The birria tacos had goat meat, cheese, cilantro, and onion. The goat meat was so tender and juicy. The tortilla was cooked to perfection. It was soft but the edges were crisp. There were two choices of sauces: red and green. The red seemed to be a bit of a dry hot while the green is a bit spicy but more flavorful. When combining the taco with the sauce and dipping it in the soup it's just the most amazing taste ever. I left with a full belly. The cashier was nice and made sure we got our meals in a timely manner.

10/10! If you don't love the food here you're just a hater at this point. Food is too fresh. Woman taking orders is very quick and kind. Red salsa is SPICY. Green salsa is very tasty and safe. You know this is a real birria place because they have the fried chiles de árbol and orégano shaker. No complaints here. There's fresh agua fresca too to cool down your tongue after you put too much salsa on your taco lol.

Awesome tacos. Quick service. Very nice staff, order was prompt and correct. Will definitely go there again.

Having popped in completely on a whim during work, attracted by the the wafting aroma of fresh meat I was captured by the sign in the window shouting FRESH BIRRIA EVERY DAY!!! Alone in this small shop I was quite clear in my mission to obtain their finest Birria. When posed with the option for the Quesabirria I was all in! One order of Quesabirria came with a side cup of hot broth for dunking and additional hot sauces. This was amazing!! The three crispy tacos and hot broth were simple and amazing! I plan on returning often!!!

This place has the worst birria tacos ever created. They are also grossly overpriced and a ripoff. Their sign and menu are showing vastly lower prices. The tortillas were barely fried, as they were still soggy and wet from the consume dip. That's another thing - they don't even provide the consume. They just dip the tortillas in it, then barely fry it, and leave everything as a soggy mush of a taco. The actual birria has no taste either. I should've known that it was going to disgusting after they finished making a bunch of tacos almost a minute after ordering. Yuck! Skip this place!

Not too many options of food to choose from. The service was alright, the lady we got was alright. The inside of the restaurant is small and not accommodating to large parties such as 12. The food itself tasted okay, nothing life changing.
