Birrieria Gourmet

To start, I'm a little confused because their website, social media, and Yelp page all have the location listed along Pacific Highway, but it wasn't there today (Dec 2022). I called and turns out they were in the food court at Fed Way Commons. They have a fully established place inside the mall, so I'm surprised that address hasn't been updated. All that to say, if you can't find it, call the number on the website and try the mall. Food-wise, it was delicious. Coming from AZ my standards for Mexican food are high, but the birria met them. I had the quesabirria, elote, and tried some of the ramen. All of it was delicious!

When they first opened it was great, but now not so much and definitely NOT gourmet. It's pricey for what you get. They need to improve if they're gonna be charging that much. Make the food look more appealing because el consomé and the tacos need some more color. Customer service is good though.

We went there and it didn't exist.I am very disappointed. We drove 30 mins :( :(So, I can say anything about the food or ambiance.

ALWAYS SOGGY. If you don't mind overpaying for soggy tortilla and very little taste go for it. This was the 2nd time thinking it was just bad luck the first round. Same story... Too soggy to even pick up and eat let alone dip into something. What a waste!Maybe try the Ramen? Can't make soup soggy. This place is not worth the money at all.

This truck comes to Imbibe in Maple Valley every Friday. When I first tried them, I really liked their food. Their prices are a little steep for what you get, but I must've been really hungry (plus there are no other decent food options nearby). We ordered from them again last night - and that will be the last time. We ordered their tortas, which looked amazing on their menu sign. What we received was a HOAGIE ROLL with some carnitas inside - and that was it. It was so NOT what was advertised. We assumed they gave us the wrong order and went to return it. All she said was: "that's it - it's just different bread." No - it's much more than that if you know what tortas are. Your customer base isn't stupid. We may be at a pub, but we're not a bunch of drunk idiots. I'm aware that food trucks are no longer the budget-friendly experience they use to be - but what this one is trying to pull on folks is insulting. (If you can't serve up what's advertised, at minimum you should be warning customers when they order.)

Raced over at 11:15am this windy Sunday "morning" to finally try these tacos and consome and man they didn't disappoint.The meat is tender, juicy and flavorful.It's stuffed with cheese and you add the generous amount of onion and cilantro they give you and dip into the flavorful broth and you are on taco cloud 9.We also got the ramen and a Mulita to enjoy later on. While I like my ramen a little more cooked the broth and beef are delicious and I meant to purchase it to eat as leftovers so my ramen reheated will be less al dente and softer when I eat it later.When you order you're given a pager so you can wait in your car for your order to be done.Service is great the owners are extremely friendly.I will be back soon

I decided to try here on a whim and the food was otherworldly! I ordered at the truck and got to go, and the service was so efficient! They gave me a buzzer to let me know when my meal was ready and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. Everything came fresh off the grill and was loaded. I ordered the birria quesadillas and they were so tender, filled with cheese, and the perfect level of greasy to fulfill a craving. It came with lots of fresh toppings on the side to add as needed.

Came out here on a Sunday afternoon. The truck is parked right across from Federal Way High School. For three quesabirrias with consommé and a coke is about $20-a bit steep. When opening package made me feel like I was about to eat some pho. There is more cheese than meat. Hot sauce is different than most places. To me it was just okay. Prefer more meat and better prices.

Birrieria gourmet is located in the commons mall at the food court. There's a lot of birria type items. I got the quesabirria and the tacos were double wrapped. Like others, the tortillas were kind of soggy even though I ate it right when I got it from the kitchen. There was a good amount of meat and together with the cheese, it was juicy and delicious. The meal comes with consome which is a little too watery and bland - it's more just beef broth soup. I ended up using the salsa that was provided which was better. Overall just okay.

They're located in the food court in common's mall. The sandwich & tacos were good but it was very messy & soggy. Also, I wish it had more cheese. The girl in the register was very friendly & nice. Not sure if I can justify their high prices. Best of luck to them.
