I went here for the first time today because I needed somewhere to hang out while my car was being worked on down the street. I'm so happy I did!The service is amazing! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the products they serve. I got the Honey B latte, and I loved it! Just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon. Later, I tried the sparkling watermelon hibiscus tea. It did not disappoint either. It was so refreshing. I can't wait to try more options next time. There's plenty of comfortable seating inside, and there are tables outside if you want to enjoy the fresh air. If you're looking for a cool place to grab delicious coffee or tea, I highly recommend Bird Rock Coffee Roasters.

Busy place with outdoor and indoor seating. Decaf coffee and tea were no problem at this coffee house. There are a variety of choices for seating options; low and high tables, low counter style tables even. A nice place I'll go back to since it's near mission bay off the 5 freeway near my house.

Coffee shop very close to USD campus. some tables outside as well as inside. Outlets availiable at some tables inside. I got the Iced Left Coast Latte with oat milk and it was great . Good size. About $7 for a 16 oz and $.50 extra for milk alternative. Staff is also very friendly and the place is clean as well.

Modern vibe with plenty of seating coffee shop. I order at the counter and asked a few questions on some of their specialty coffee. Cashier was friendly and recommended the Sandpiper. I definitely enjoyed the coffee flavor.

Yelp should really consider half stars. The Morena District Bird Rock has fantastic coffee, unfortunately delivered by arrogant snide baristas. (morning crew, and not all of them) I have to wonder what makes coffee service folks such snobs? Its coffee. . . be nice. So, 5 star coffee, 1 star service for a 2.5 total! I also wish Yelp got rid of the "auto-responder" business comments, its so. . .2008

Fantastic coffee shop! I was in the area to have my car looked at and set up shop to get some work done while I waited.I had the most delicious almond croissant with my latte. They don't have a full kitchen here but the pastries are legit.Friendly staff and busy while not being overcrowded. There's a good amount of seating available but I could only find one power outlet. I spent more time here than expected, and also had an iced tea that was also good. Will definitely return if next time that I'm in the area.

This location doesn't have functioning WiFi and they refuse to admit it or remedy the situation. There's also no cell service so I can't use phone data. Just something to consider. I also got a chia pudding and it was $7 (screams in broke)

Really good coffee. Baristas are informative. The location is huge so perfect to study, talk, or read.

We usually go to the La Jolla location but we love the chill vibe of this Bird Rock. We love the taste of the Vanilla Bean Latte and the Sandpiper Latte with the extra shot. Our barista EJ did such a great job of the latte art and was super friendly! Can't wait to come back! Thanks guys!

Bird Rock is one of my favorite coffee shops in SD! I love that they have so many locations spaced out pretty well around San Diego, mostly near the ocean or heading towards there. This location is super convenient for when I'm near the Mission Valley area.I usually get the Honey B Latte with Oat Milk, and my boyfriend got the Sandpiper. We both thought our drinks were really good! I love the Honey B Latte, it's the perfect amount of sweetness for me. I would say their drinks are definitely on the sweeter side.The Morena location always has parking for me. If there isn't a spot open you will most likely be able to find a spot on the street it's on. It's located in an interesting area, but parking is a perk that comes from that. Definitely less busy than the location at Bird Rock.
