I am just rating the gyro n butter garlic fries So I would say I wasn't a fan of everything else but I am huge fan of the gyro and garlic fries . The gyro meat is fresh and crispy . The sauce is bomb. So if I had to rate the gyro and butter garlic fries alone it would be a five star but all the other stuff ehhhhhh that's up to y'all to decide lol. I have got the gyro about 10 times already so I would say every time it was a hit .

Tried Billy Joes for the first time it took me almost 25 minutes to get my order through the drive thru and only 2 cars ahead of me. The food itself was average, ordered roast beef and fries, roast beef was ok nothing special but not terrible. Fries were awful, no seasoning, no flavor, no thank you, and a rip off. (3.25 for small bland fry) Overall they offer high end prices for below average food. I will not return and suggest anyone considering this place to pass them up for a chain place with same quality at a lower price.

After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to make several trips to Billy Jo's before posting. After six trips, had a positive dining experience every time. Tried several items from menu and found everything to be very good. Homemade soups were some of the best that I had from a drive-in. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. This is now my go to drive-in when in the area.

Healthy food: no. Tasty, satisfying food: YES!Chicago dogs, Italian beef, loaded burgers gyros, subs, shakes, salads and deep fried sides: A full meal for cheap delivered quickly. The quintessential Chicago fast food stop.

This place is so clean I was shocked to see reviews over 6 years old, thought this was a new building. Cheeseburger meal was excellent. Fries were McDonald's size, which I prefer. Price may be a little higher compared to Pop's, but I prefer dining here. Service wasn't super friendly, definitely professional, I would not classify as rude. I look forward to trying the gyros or polish sausage next time.

Tried this place today, polish sausage and double cheeseburger with fries. Nothing wrong with the food, nothing special either.

The most disgusting chili I have ever had. It looks like diarrhea in a cup. Horrible!

This place sucks had. the worst experience in my life everything was ice cold and burnt as you can see in this picture. the lady was very rude and didn't wanna help the situation what so ever.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. definitely wouldn't feed this to my dog even if I had no choice .. I wouldn't even rate it 1 star

good food but once again screwed up my order. I was told the manager packed my order well better get him more training or glasses. what upset me the most is he wouldn't get on the phone with me. instead let the poor cashier deal with me but barked orders in the background that I had to come back to get the rest of my order. such a punk move. he shouldn't be employed there. I don't think I'll be ordering there again if that is how they treat their customers
