Bill’s Sandwich Palace

So I want to take off a star because they're not open every day all day. In fact they're only open from 11-3 Thursday to Sunday (closes at 2 on Sunday). That's the only "bad" thing I can think of. But it's a great work life balance for them. They get five stars for a few reasons. There is a meaning behind these reasons but I'll let you figure it out. 1. Great sandwiches that rotate out every two weeks. It's staggered so it won't be a whole new menu but two or three sandwiches each week.2. Everyone is greeted as Bill.3. Great music that changes. My favorites are the El Lechon and the Tiger Uppercut but I have not had a sandwich that I didn't enjoy.

This is Steven, age 45, a man protected by an ego of armor all held together by one bolt. Just a moment ago, an amazing sandwich procured & eaten from Bill's Sandwich Palace removed the bolt and Steven's protection fell away from him and left him a naked target. He's been cannonaded this afternoon by all the enemies of his life. His insecurity has shelled him; his sensitivity has straddled him with humiliation; his deep-rooted disquiet about his own worth has zeroed in on him, landed on target, and blown him apart. Mr. Steven, a white collar professional. Mr. Steven, a man who loves sandwiches and has made many of his own, deeply questioning everything he knew about sandwiches, and his own name. There he was, sharing half his Pittsburgh sandwich with a young beautiful woman, and she sharing half of her Blue Ribbon sandwich. Next to him, a valet from downtown Nashville, Seth, talked about his own sandwich. The creativity, the quality ingredients, the busy yet prompt service, all of this, moved Mr. Steven, into a desperate search for survival, or perhaps, a guaranteed second visit...to Bill's Sandwich Palace.

Such a unique small business in East Nash! Their menu rotates frequently so you're always in for a surprise. Staff service was so nice that it felt like someone was speaking to you as a friend. Our sandwiches and side of potato salad were super fresh and delicious! Very generous portion sizes as well. Limited indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating.

We've been eyeing Bill's for some time now and finally had a chance to stop in. I don't remember the names of what we got which doesn't matter too much considering they rotate the menu consistently. With a walk up counter, the ordering process is quick. The staff was knowledgeable on the menu items, and there are a handful of seating options indoor and out. The sandwiches were really good!! You could tell they were constructed with quality ingredients. They had good balance of soft, crunchy, saucy. Unfortunately for us, $30 for two sandwiches and one bottle of water is too much to spend to enjoy Bill's on a regular basis. Make that closer to $37 if you want chips to go with those sandwiches ‍ However...these are advertised as craft sandwiches and that they are, so long as you can comfortably foot the bill ;)

Not bad, not great. Way overpriced. I don't think I would come here again personally and wouldn't suggest anyone going out of their way to try it out. But... if you are in the area and want a decently overpriced lunch, stop on in. My lunch was $22

They were packed when we arrived in the afternoon. I got a mystery sandwich and husband got K+K Tomato sandwich. Surprise! I got a roast beef sandwich and it was super delicious. My husband K+K tomato sandwich was good too but it got soggy really fast. I don't like soggy sandwich but my husband does. There are plenty of outdoor seating but limited indoor seating. It was hot outside. If you don't like eating in the heat, you might have to do the takeout. Overall, it is worth the hype and we will be back for sure.

I love the business model of this place - an ever changing menu - and the sandwiches themselves are incredible.We had a turkey pesto club-like sandwich and a warm chicken tomato sub. Both had balanced flavors and felt so light, which I wasn't expecting for such a packed sandwich. If I lived in Nashville, I'd be coming here nearly every week to try the new combinations!

Dear Bill,If you're reading this, you might be in search of the best sandwich in Nashville. After visiting many of the sandwich shops and deli's in the area, here's the real answer. This is a great sandwich and the best of anything is subjective. It's too close to call, but here's the thing Bill, Bills sandwich palace deserves to be in the conversation.The sandwich I had (Siu pork - named on the left) was more like an entire meal on delicious bread.Bill will take good care of you even if they are busy. Service was quick and there are a few places to sit out front or at the counter inside.Prices are reasonable, and the Bill at the counter was friendly.After eating here I think we can agree that We are all Bill on this blessed day.

Finally swung by the still relatively new brick & mortar BSP while staying around the corner at an Airbnb for a few days. Have only had Bills when they were a pop up at TKO. Things haven't changed & it's still delicious & innovative af. This time I got the Ode to Bob & the chili crisp chili mac. Both were great & now maybe I'll survive a few more BSP social media posts on Insta without dying inside because it's been so long since having it.The little shop is aesthetically pleasing inside & with a prime corner spot to watch East Nash hipsters & their dogs wander by. Plenty of outdoor covered benches & some counter seating inside. I love their merch setup around the digital menu board. Keep on keeping on Bills
