Seafood pancake. Not your typical Korean pancake batter but it is sooooo good. Highly recommend.

As part of our weekly food adventures, my fiancé and I were looking for a place we haven't tried yet. We hadn't visited Big Pot Seolleontang before and were curious to try.Upon arriving, we were greeted by the friendly staff and were seated right away. I ordered the combo seolleontang with clear noodles for $19, which included brisket, beef tongue, tendon, and other toppings. Our food also came with a bowl of white rice and banchan. As soon as we saw the food, we were ready to dig in. I was pleasantly surprised by the big portion size, which definitely made me full by the end of the meal. I appreciated how they added a good amount of beef toppings, which gave the soup a variety of textures. The soup itself was flavorful and light. I could drink the whole thing without a second thought. I also wanted to give a shoutout to the ladies who served us. They were so friendly and knowledgeable about the food. We had a good time talking and joking around with them. It made us feel even more welcomed than we already were feeling. Overall, we had a great experience here and would love to come back again!

So far the best in town. Very thick broth and delicious kimchi to pair with. Perfect for the cold and windy weather. They are welcoming and service is quick.

Best seolleongtang I've had in the area! Flavorful, milky broth and the banchan are absolutely delicious. Especially the kimchi. We ordered extra banchan to take home, and will certainly be making the trek from Seattle to visit whenever we crave soul-warming soup.Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and seating was spacious and comfortable.

The broth flavor was really good for all three dishes we ordered. The beef short rib soup has the most meat and largest portion. Was slightly disappointed with the oxtail soup portion, but understand oxtail is expensive. Hit the spot for this time of year in the Seattle area. Service was friendly. The dipping sauce for the meat was tasty and the kimchi was delicious. The restaurant could be a little cleaner, but that really wasn't a deal breaker.

We were looking for the dumplings place but the GPS took us to this plaza. We have decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. In the past, we go to the beef soup place by H-mart. This place is larger and seems cleaner as well. Food is simple. Beef soup with your choice of tendon, tongue and brisket. Also, seafood pancake. Soup can have regular noodles or clear noodles vermicelli like. The service is great. Food came out fast. You get to decide how much salt you want to put in the soup. Soup is thick and you can get the stickiness on your lips. Lots of parking outside. One more great option for beef soups!

From the outside it was boarded so we were hesitant but we saw some ladies go in from the door so we went inInside was bright. They had one big area and some individual separated rooms It was pretty quiet but it was around 4pm on Saturday. Service was nice. The ladies are super friendly and asking if I had questions (which I had a lot cause it was our first time!!)The food, omg, was delicious. The pancake was so flavorful even without the dipping sauce. The short rib soup, so so so rich and flavorful and look at all those big pieces of ribs!! One of the ladies working there helped me cut my rib up as she saw me struggling lol. There are a bit of noodles in the short rib soup too.(They gave us tongs and scissors with the food but I failed to use them)They also asked if we wanted wasabi in our dipping sauce with the soup, yes!! It was so good. All I can say is it was so much fun trying this place and food was really good and unique! Can't wait to go back again. Also very generous with refills on the side dishes. She saw them getting low and asked if we wanted more and gave us a full plate!

Literally best seolleontang in Washington I've had so far. Great service and delicious kimchi. It was fresh and the squid side dish had a nice kick! I got the brisket cause I don't really like the other meats. And had it with clear noodles. We went on a Sunday night and it wasn't too busy. Would def come back again for some of that broth. Every sip was so healing.I went a second time and had the seafood pancake. ALSO delicious. Maybe a little more crispy? But sauce is crackkkk. Anyways love this place. Wish it was closer to Seattle!

What we ordered: Beef Short Ribs Soup.Ever since I tried it for the first time a few months ago, I have been back here over 10 times already! My favorite is the beef short ribs soup. It's super comforting and you can season it to your liking with the salt on the table. Although I think the short rib soup is flavorful enough. They also give you a lot of meat and it comes with glass noodles! They also provide some banchan and a bowl of rice. I love the sauce with the hint of wasabi in it for dipping the meat, it's so so good! This pot can be shared between two people but if you want it all for yourself then why not? Service is quick and they are friendly! It's never too busy inside and they have lots of seating as well as easy parking outside. I highly recommend trying this spot out in you're ever in Federal Way!

Finaally found a good seollongtang place in the area, we will definitlely be back! When we went it was not too busy, we had a group of 5, and were seated almost immediately. You salt the soup to taste, but the green onion already comes in the soup. Our group tried the brisket seollongtang and the brisket+tendon+tongue, we all really liked it! I prefer the clear noodle over the white noodle. There is also the option of getting large portions which our waiter had suggested to us (#7,8,9 the plate options) which would probably come out cheaper per portion.

Decided to stop by after very disappointing experience at the competitor's place. Friendly and attentive service. The place was clean and some tables had private section dividers. Got the tendon seollongtang and it had a nice flavor and fatty parts were removed from tendons. I am very sensitive to gamey taste/smell and it was nice to be able enjoy without that. We'll be back to try other items on the menu. Glad we found an alternative place!
