Big Mario's Pizza

I love a good dive bar and if the bar offers delicious food, even better! We were on the search for pizza in Seattle and found this little gem with some pretty awesome pizza! I always like to order a plain cheese and pepperoni and this one was top notch for me. I loved that I didn't even have to add any chili flakes or cheese because it was so flavorful. Order by the slice or order a whole pie and enjoy a drink or cocktail while you wait. It's definitely worth the wait!

Went there before a Husky game. Had tried it once before and was underwhelmed but the pizza was very good this time. My other two friends thought it was good also. Service was slow so don't be in a hurry. Sports bar vibe

This place is big thumbs up for great ambiance and even greater staff. We live a drive away and we never regret making the drive for some pizza and drinks.The pizza always hits the spot. The crust is thin and crispy but at the same time has the perfect amount of fluffy texture. Plus you get to watch the dudes throw the dough in the air while enjoying classic VHS movies. Fun fact that we heard was they have somebody who creates VHS tapes for them. So cool to see it all on shelves around the place. For parking, pretty easy street parking if it's a quiet night. Also Ice box arcade is just across the street to enjoy after drinks and pizza.

There is something wrong with BM in Freelard. I have been twice on a weekend night where there are no slices . Last time the cook said it would be 45 minutes. An hour later he was telling people walking in it would be 45 mins. We ordered a salad and ordered Pagliacci . Also the bar tender wouldn't let me start a tab.If your 21 and you have a new studded jacket from hot topic you will love this place . The staff will love you and you will all be ok with how lazy and unconcerned you are for customers BUT they will expect a tip in advance .Whoever runs this place clearly doesn't care and like many Seattle places, the patrons don't either . Such a Shamr this place is run so poorly.

Stopped in last night for a pizza to go. Had to wait there 20 minutes because we ordered at the counter. The people were friendly and the environment was divey.I was really happy with the pizza. It was exactly what I expected it to be. Large, thin slices. Mild tomato sauce, just the right amount of cheese, lots of greasy pepperoni. I thought the crust could be just a little more cooked because it was a bit floppy, but overall good pizza.

Great for after the bar. NY style slices and drinks. It's a good spot. They also have a library of movies on VHS if that's your thing.

Stopped by with a friend because it was on our way when we were walking towards Ballard from Fremont and we were hungry. The pizza was pretty good. They sell it by slices. A cozy place but there are a good number of seats, including ones outside. It's kind of loud inside with the music but we still had a good time with good food.

Last night, I ended up at Big Mario's pizza. I didn't realize is was more of a dive bar which was an unexpected surprise. Tried a few different slices. The pear Gorgonzola was delicious! The best part of the experience was my friends card being declined, then my card being declined (BOA cards were having issues I guess?). The kind fellow behind the counter pulled his wallet out to pay? I quickly slapped his hand away and my friend scolded him! We are independent women who can pay for ourselves! My other card worked for their system. The ability to deal with us as a group was definitely noticed. So loud and rowdy. Thanks Big Mario's for contributing carbs to my belly to prevent feeling awful in the morning.

Big Mario's Pizza was featured on the cork board at our airbnb and low and behold, it was within walking distance as well. My husband made the walk and ordered two slices of Pepperoni pizza for us.We love a good slice of pizza and Big Mario's Pizza definitely fit the bill! But then again growing up my favorite pizza joint was Sbarro, so I don't know what that says about me LOL!My husband told me that the dive bar was pretty chill. He said there were a lot of "hipsters" hanging out there. But concluded that it looked like a great place to chill and hangout with buddies! Had we not had our toddler with us, we would have stayed for a drink too!The service was great both times! I really love the neighborhood it's located in and if I were able to move to Seattle one day, I'd love to be near here!

Smoking weed outside and leaving the register unattended isn't really good for business. Pizza is good though!
