Big Kahuna's Ice Cream

Well, there are many interpretations of edible products and my favorite Shave Ice is nothing like a Snow Cone. That explains the absence of the 5th star.I ordered Watermelon flavor shave ice here in Pacific Beach on San Diego's coast. The flavor was good and it was plentiful-so from the first spoonful to the last it tasted watermelony.....yep, it's not a word.The customer service was excellent-the young man that waited on me was patient and helpful!There are picnic style elevated tables so you can sit and people watch or daydream staring into the Pacific Ocean.Can't get a better view!!The "Shave Ice" wasn't shaved. It was chipped off and then mechanically chopped so it was small bits of ice that looked very much like a Snow Cone to me. Still tasty- just not what I expected texture wise.Plan to go back and try the Boba Tea!!!

I would not recommend! Thai Tea Boba was trash and taste like burnt plastic or sour milk. Also asked the person who made it politely to try it because it was off. Refused and wouldn't even give a refund or anything else. I spent $8 and took two sips of my drink. This was the worst experience I ever had.

Maybe the worst shave ice I've ever had? It seems like they're changing up a lot in their menu. The shave ice was really chunky and the Acai bowl had really large pieces of ice in it. I like a finer shave for the ice, and the chunks were not really working for me. They also put the ice cream on top of the shave ice, which I haven't had before. I think it works better on the bottom. Wailua shave ice in OB was way better, I'll go back there next time I'm in town.

I think it's a must to come here and eat icecream while gazing across tHe beach. I ordered a chocolate icecream scoop on a sugar cone. The icecream was what dreams are made of. The sugar cone tasted a little stale. We sat at the benches here for awhile and listened to the beautiful ocean. Then we decided to stroll dowN the beach. The icecream cost was reasonable ($4) and service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely come back here for more icecream! I would def

Location is great. In front of the ocean. We got shaved ice and Oreo smoothie. Big portions and price wasn't bad. We enjoyed in hot summer. Lots of drink options.

It took about 45 minutes for the girl to take our order. She finally takes our order. then she tells us theres no boba... im really upset at this point.. then she sits around on her phone and vapes for the next 20 minutes. prices are ridiculous!!. drinks were pretty good except tea!! tea is nasty

We visited here last week and had a great experience.I ordered a banana split, my bf ordered the cookie sandwich, and his grandpa had the mocha almond fudge ice cream.All were very delicious! We kept eyeing this place as we walked by and finally had time to stop. There's a few benches to sit on while you enjoy your treat and there's a great view. Wish I got a picture but it was so good we ate it fast!!Service was fast and friendly!

What a terrible service. Gave me a Thai tea with boba for 7 and I tried to drink and it wouldn't even come out, then it finally squeezed through and tasting like shit, worst boba ever, and lady couldn't replace it for another one. Fuck this place

The ice cream served was halfway melted. When asked why said it's because of weather.. it was 73 outside. Ice cream should not be halfway melted when just served.

The "shaved ice" was not actually shaved ice. In fact, it was a snow cone made using the same machine I have at my house. The portion size was not as big as expected either
