Big Cheech’s Chicken N’ Waffles

It was our first time here around 4pm and there was not a lot of traffic and plenty of parking.We ordered one of the combo meals that came with two spicy chicken, fries and a drink. Then we had a side order of the strawberry milk shake.The combo total was only $16!The milk shake was $5 It fed two of us and was soo good. I think you really get a bang for your buck here and we definitely will be back. The service was great! Fast and the cashier was nice. The ambiance gives fast food vibes haha so nothing spectacular.

I've been here twice in the past week. Came to the area in need of Starbucks, walked into BC out of curiosity.The first meal we ordered the first time was a #10 to split. $18 for 4 Gried Chicken Breast tenders, fries, and a waffle with syrup, BC sauce, and a Mango Habanero sauce. We were impressed. The chicken was fried perfectly and tasted great, the waffle was hot, crispy in the outside, and soft on the inside--drizzled with sugar powder. I think their waffle batter is spot on. The fries were my favorite. Unsalted and unseasoned, thin, and fried perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal to split. The 2nd day we came this week, my husband and I got the #2 Combo. I don't remember the combo name but it was two spicy chicken sandwiches, fries, and a drink. We ordered a waffle on the side. It's not that it was bad--it was ok... but I personally would rather go to Dave's Hot Chicken for a spicy chicken sandwich if I had to compare. I think I just don't prefer their buns--it's too airy and bready for my preference. The sandwich is good, but the chicken alone, undressed, is a lot better and that will probably be our go-to meal. Aside from the food, the service is ok. The cashier at the front is nice and quiet. The atmosphere during lunch time isn't busy and there are plenty of empty tables. I like how spacious the restaurant is and I'm not constantly having to weave myself in and out of people. I'd say this is a solid place to try and I recommend eating the chicken, waffles, and fries separately to really get a taste of the fundamentals of the overall menu.

2 burgers with your meal!!!! Tasted better than chik-fil-a. The price was good too. Really good choices at the soda fountain. Loved this spot!!

Food was fire!! Spicy chicken sliders meal, fries.. all fire. Fries were crunchy and we ordered a beef slider on the side Hit the right spot at the right time. Service was friendly and fast. ambiance was cute nothing crazy needed. The food was the main focus.

Great food here! Fast friendly service and the portions are HUGE. I got the two sliders for lunch one day thinking they would be normal slider sized but they were full burger sized sliders lol, so if you're super hungry go with that. Decently priced too.. for a two slider meal it was about $15

Save yourself a trip to the San Diego Fair and just go here. My daughters say the Strawberry and Oreo milkshakes are best they have ever had. Everything is good here. I've never been disappointed. The service has always been nice people. It's open with plenty of seating. Don't miss out.

The facility was clean when we went and it's next to a Starbucks. There appeared to only be 2 people working(1counter,1cook). We ordered the slider combo and were accommodating of one slider with everything, the other without. The Mac n cheese was additionally ordered, which was lacking in flavor honestly. The BC sauce comes on the sandwiches and wasn't too big of a fan (similar to honey mustard). The fries were good however.

Big Cheech's was an awesome experience!! The food was extremely solid. My friends and I agreed the salad was standard and yummy, the chicken in the sliders were flavorful, and the tater tots were crispy. The mac n cheese was not my favorite but still was not bad. However, if you're going to Big Cheech's you MUST get a milkshake. The milkshake was an 11/10. I will be bringing more of my friends to Big Cheech's just for these milkshakes. The service was great! They brought our food to the tables and were good at answering any questions. The inside of the restaurant was very clean as well. 100% returning.

Awesome local chicken spot!We have been here a handful of times and it has never disappointed. Food Quality is always on point and the staff is always really friendly Their chicken is flavorful and moist. They offer several different sauces if you are just going for chicken strips. I typically get the chicken and waffles and my wife likes to get the chicken/waffle slidersIt's also a huge plus they serve tater tots!You also have to get their milkshakes. They're amazing. I always get the strawberry shake. They are going to give Crack Shack a run for their money. I hope their quality doesn't go down.

Good stuff, although I should preface this review by saying that I ordered the whole meal while in a pretty hangry state. Anyway, the chicken tenders were gigantic and pretty tasty. Fries could've been better but that was my bad. I was in such a sour mood that I forgot to order tater tots instead of fries. Haven't had tater tots in a long time. So maybe I'll order that next time along with the pumpkin spice milkshake, which sounds interesting. I haven't tried the waffle yet. I'll save that for breakfast tomorrow.The restaurant space itself was clean and looked new. It was pretty much empty when I came there on a late Sunday afternoon. I also don't even know if their drive-thru was working because no one was in the drive-thru lane.
