Absolutely delicious! Ran into them at the ridgecrest pub and was extremely pleased. I'm glad to see they will be coming back to ridgecrest every 2 weeks.

Saw this truck at a Common Kings concert and had to try it! Ordered the poke bowl and an order of lumpia. Everything came out fast and the owners were so nice. Highly recommend the food - my mouth is watering just thinking of it again I hope to eat there again soon!Thank you Big Boys!!!

I spotted this food truck once before, but for some reason passed right by it. Ever since that day, I wondered when we'd cross paths again, which eventually happened after a long several months! Before ordering, I browsed some photos on Yelp, which enticed me to order the Rice Bowl with Garlic Fried Chicken ($11) served with garlic rice and slaw. You can also add a serving of lumpia or a fried egg to any order for an additional $2. I was tempted to upgrade my bowl with lumpia, but it already sounded filling enough, so I left it as-is.For rice bowls, they offer a few different meats to choose from, but I was already craving fried chicken and garlic is always a plus. Unfortunately, the chicken did not live up to my expectations. Its dark brown crust indicated that it was overly fried, which was confirmed as I struggled to cut through it. Most pieces were on the drier end and only a few of them were substantially meaty. The chicken was drizzled with a garlic sauce; it had a slight tang to it which actually offset the oiliness of the chicken quite well. On the side were two mounds of rice topped with a delicious garlic crumble. That garlic was SO good... I would sprinkle it on anything! I also loved the slaw, which was crisp and mixed with a perfect coating of cool creamy dressing. Service was very friendly and personable. When I approached the truck, the cashier greeted me with a smile and genuinely thanked me for my support as he handed me my food. Additionally, while my lunch was prepared relatively quickly, I appreciated the clean plating and and neat presentation. Sadly, I believe the chicken just happened to be a miss on this particular day. I'd return again to give the rice bowl another shot with a different type of meat, or perhaps go for their tacos.3.25 stars.

Saw Big Boys parked out front by work. Tried the lumpia pork bowl. For $11/pre-tax, got 5 lumpia, two scoops of plain white rice with something sprinkled on top (no idea what) and a slaw/salad with a mini cup of a sweet/sour sauce. The lumpia was pretty bland. Luckily the sauce was included for some flavor. I poured the rest on the rice. The salad was ok.No option on their card payment system for no tip so required to give them a 15% tip for a food truck. Come on. Fork and napkins were offered to the guys in front of me, but not me. I didn't need them as there's a stock indoors at work but they didn't know that. I don't know why they would offer to some but not me. Wouldn't have minded giving the lowest tip amount for a food truck if they had done more than take my money and hand me the food out the window.Truck had a few boxes of candy and a couple cases of canned soda out front. Rest of the front case was empty along with the napkin holders.

Saw Big Boys Filipino Food Truck at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle a few weeks back. One of the food trucks I haven't checked out yet and the menu options looked good, so that's always a plus.Line wasn't too long around 11:45 am so it gave me a few minutes to decide what I wanted. A lot of hungry tourist in the area along with hungry downtown workers, so that is a clash each day during the week in this area you'll have to deal with.My turn to step up to the window......I decided to get the "Pork Belly Sisig" plate. For $2 more you can add 2 lumpias to your meal, and that's what I did. Overall, the plate was just ok to me. A good amount of the pork belly bits was really cooked down and a bit overcooked which made a handful of pieces really dry. It had ok flavor but a bit on the greasy side. Comes with 2 scoops of rice, a cabbage slaw that is lightly dressed too. The lumpias were pretty small, not a whole lot of filling inside, fried really hard which made it a bit overcooked and super crunchy and crackly.Staff was friendly at the truck, prices are about $10-$13 or so, depending on what you order, add or upgrade to. Good sized portion so you will be pretty full. I'm not super in a hurry to come back but would try some other dishes if I see them around. We'll see where the wind takes me.

Their food truck came to our work...actually they come every week. Their customer service was great. She was very nice and gave us our order as soon as we arrived (because we ordered online). I ordered the rice bowl with fried garlic chicken. The rice was okay...it was stickier than I would have liked but that's my preference. The chicken was GREAT! The seasoning was tasty and the chicken was crunchy. The side salad I got was also tasty. It was similar to coleslaw. I also ordered the 5 piece vegetarian lumpia. I wasn't a big fan of it. It didn't like vegetarian, but looked like a pork sausage and they were smaller than I thought. In the past when I've had lumpia they're slightly bigger and longer. The crunch on the wrapper was good.

Yummy Filipino food truck, makin' its rounds area Seattle! I'm a fan of Big Boys, especially since their Kent restaurant, Big Boys Kainan is awesome! So when I heard they have a food truck, Big Boys Filipino Food Truck that makes its way north/to Seattle, I had to check it out.I found Big Boys at the Westlake Park, which is walking distance from my office. Way more accessible than getting to Kent! The truck's menu offers more simpler plates and combos that are worth checking out. In my last visit I ordered the Chicken Adobo Plate with Lumpia, which was a solid lunch. Although any true Filipina will tell ya that when ordering adobo, ya gotta get it with pork, the chicken adobo was a solid option here from Big Boys. The chicken was shredded, as if it was in a slow cooker, so was tender and soft. The adobo sauce though was killer, especially over garlic rice! Yum! Lumpia was A-OK. I wouldn't pay extra for it again, as it was average. Glad to have Big Boys' food more accessible via food truck, as Filipino food is hard to come by in this town. But glad that Big Boys is keepin' the dream alive with its Filipino classics and tasty combos.

Also known as Big Boys Kainan (both a restaurant in Kent and as two food truck,s one of which used to be black, Food Truck 2 is now yellow). We got two rice bowls at the Alison Krause concert at Marymoor Park, one beef, one chicken. I can only say that they were disappointing, both in quality and quantity. They were edible, and the flavor was OK, but this wasn't great Filipino or Hawaiian food -- just a scoop of rice with some beef or chicken in gravy over the top.We won't be getting anything from them again.

Service was kinda mid, the dude was low key rude. Food was super salty, I gave it a three because I haven't had too much Filipino food to base it off of.
