We happened here for a fresh and delicious medi meal and were delighted to find some new flavor blends and large portion plates. We ordered from the menu stuck on the table and had all of our food in what seemed like 5 minutes! The falafel were at least as good as my once fave place and the cauliflower is baked, not fried, so the meal feels generally healthier. The tahini sauce is well balanced between the garlic and sesame flavor and thankfully offers some flavor for the rice. The eggplant tomato dip is very smoked paprika-tasting, I do wonder if it's possible to have it not blended--I love roasted eggplant and tomatoes so much! The rice is tender and the roasted vegetables were chef's kiss perfection, namely the baby peppers!! The staff was very friendly, full of smiles and help navigating the space. The only strange thing was we ordered the cardamom pistachio cake and they gave us a cellophane-wrapped chocolate pound (looking) cake that didn't have much flavor or moisture, nor the cardamom or pistachios. I didn't address it because we didn't eat it until we got home to learn the flavors were missing. The space feels like half pantry, half kitchen extension in someone's home. It's very well lit and clean and we will be back for sure!

Got takeout for a groupFood: Overall, I thought the food was good. Pretty straightforward but of very good value. The portions were absolutely huge. Dips below: all were quite big--about a pound portion size i would say?Hummus and baba ganoush: creamy, delishLabneh: this was very thick! Wished it was a little lighter/creamier. Still tasted good, but not my favorite because it was not easy spread, etc. Eggplant meerza: I like this one for something different. *Very smokey flavor so it wasn't to husband's taste so be aware of strong flavors. Falafels: we got a lot because hosted vegetarians. good/ok. A little dense. Came with rice, vegetables, hummus, a little cucumber salad, pita. The plate comes with 5 falafelsGrilled vegetables. Large portion and comes in a huge bed of rice. They were all flavorful, well seasoned. Roasted cauliflower: a favorite. Again, large portionRoasted beets: very flavorful. Another favorite.Shirazi salad was fine. Standard cucumber tomato and red onion Mediterranean salad. smaller than expected esp for the size of everything else. A little bland. And similar to the salad that comes with the falafel plate. Would skip next time. The rice that accompanied most of the dishes was very fluffy and tastyHowever, pita was terrible! Very surprised. It was burnt brown and very hard. Losing one star for this because it feels like you need to get pita right if you are a Mediterranean restaurant.... They gave us some olives on the houseOverall: will probably order again if hosting large group because overall food is good, large portions, good value. Will buy my own pita from a regular grocery store though.

Vegan review - we got the bibi bowl, veggie kabob bowl and fried cauliflower. Bibi bowl was really good with hummus, rice, falafels, roasted veggies (squash and peppers) , salad and pita. The pita was pillowy and soft. My 4 year old was blown away with the pita, he was like "what is it called? Why don't you make this at home?"Fried cauliflower was excellent with creamy tahini on top. The tahini had no bitterness whatsoever. May be that's how good tahini is supposed to be?I would skip the veggie kabob next time, it was a repetition of what was already in the bibi bowl. Nothing extraordinary.I was going to order fesenjoon but they recommended against it if I hadn't had before since it will be very sweet. It seems to be a family run business with limited seating and homely atmosphere. Not many vegan options but the couple they had tasted really good. I appreciate the effort put into making quality vegan dishes, so I'd definitely return!

This place has a very homely vibe and good portions. We got the chicken bibi bowl and found everything to be fresh. The rice was moist, chicken perfectly charred, peppers were roasted and the hummus was great. The arugula salad was a lot to finish. I plan to go back to try the chicken skewers!

Mehhhh... Bland, underseasoned, overpriced food makes for a disappointing experience. The baba(bibi) ganoush had a fantastic flavor of smoked eggplant but it was pretty one dimensional. It was not well balanced our rounded. A little richness, a little acid form some lemon to brighten it up, a little oompf would have been nice. The Chicken Kabob was just underwhelming. Grilled chicken breast chunks served on a plate with arugula and some sumac sprinkled on top and a side of plain white flavorless rice. I've had this dish in tons of Persian and Mediterranean restaurants and also in those countries themselves and they are usually so packed with big bold flavors. This was so drab that we had to finally ask for some of their sweet pepper sauce on the side to finish it. Some fragrant spices and fresh herbs on on the chicken, some lemon squeezed over the top for freshness, some kind of seasoning or sauce with the rice; these are just fundamental to the cuisine which was lacking here. Even something simple like serving the chicken on the rice would have helped some of the juices soak into it rather than pooling up on a different plate. Overall quite disappointed by the food here and won't be going back. FWIW, a friend got the falafel plate here and he seemed to really like it.

The best Persian food I've ever had in the US! We tried most of kabobs and they were all great, but Lamb Chop was just amazing!

I used Bibi's catering service for a work event for the first time, and I was very impressed with flexibility of options, quality of food, and the flavors!I ordered a combination of Mediterranean and Persian food, which included vegetarian and some vegan dishes. The variety and quality of dishes exceeded expectations and everyone found something they loved! My only suggestion is to label the containers or simply write down what's inside with a sharpie so it's easier to know what's inside and which ones to open.I received so many complements from the guests who attended the event. Highly recommend using Bibi for catering your next event!
