Bia's Cafe Marianao

Solid franchise and cheap! Definitely very comparable to Porto's (in the west coast). My fiancé and I had the guava and cheese pastillo, iced cafe con leche, churros (plain), guava chicken bbq sandwich, cubano, tamales raja, and empanada (pork/chicken). For all of these, we spent $40 which is not bad for the amount we got. The churros and empanadas were mid. However, the star of the show was the cubano, guava and cheese pastillo, and tamales! Definitely would go again for these. There was a line but we were able to order and get our food quickly. The place looks small but there's actually space in the back. If you're in a hurry, maybe order ahead for a quick in and out. There's parking and you can certainly park in nearby street parking too.

First time trying the ham egg and cheese sandwich, it's absolutely delicious, the black iced coffee is super strong. Great place for breakfast sandwiches

Get the double Cuban sandwich it's loaded nice lean pork n ham .had the chicken empanadas they were good also.

sadly no croquetas and couldn't say how thick the mamey shake is (i've had yoo many watery cuban shakes in this city) -- so just had a cafecito. which was fine (a cuban coffee is NOT just espresso with some sugar added after ‍). but it was alright. would come back to try the sandwiches.

This isn't the first time I've been here. Bia's Cafe has 2 locations. The original one is on Addison near Milwaukee Ave & the High school. This one is located on the SW corner of Addison & Narragansett. Originally this was a hot dog stand that was torn down and Bia's Cafe replaced it.I pass this location all the time as my brother in law lives right down the street on Nagle & Belmont. Duhhhh it took me a while to realize that this was the same owner as the place near Milwaukee & Addison. They have the same GREAT steak & cheese sandwich for a reasonable price. Definitely a place worth checking out. I will absolutely be back again as they have an awesome sandwich for a very affordable price. I mean who doesn't like that in this day of ever increasing cost of living.CHECK IT OUT YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!!!!

I just went to Bia's this morning and I was wowed by the food and service. I got a sandwich cubano and a café cubano and they were both delicious! What impressed me though, was that I didn't want to bother asking for a cup of water but as I'm eating my sandwich, the girl at the cash register brought me one.that so kind that it really elevated my visit. The bathroom is co-ed but super clean ! Definitely coming back and telling my friends.

We just moved down the street from this cafe and are already obsessed! It's super cute inside, the staff is excellent, but most of all the food is fantastic! I grew up in Florida with a large Cuban influence and oh how I've missed the food. We've been 3 times in the last month and I imagine we will keep it up. Couldn't recommend it more! My husband loves the ham egg and cheese sandwich! The yuca fries and tostones are great but for me it was the beef empanadas-- absolutely delicious. Please check this place out if you're in the area!

Sorry but todays food was just off. The coffee was not strong and steak sandwich was bland. Also ordered guava pastry and it was not good. What happen Bia?

Ordered two sandwiches, they came incorrectly, so i called, had them remake the sandwiches, just for them to be made incorrectly once again. This is the second time I have experienced this issue and will not be ordering from this place again.

Amazing food, coffee, and customer service! As a coffee-lover, I was searching for more local coffee shops and stumbled upon Bia's. I wish I found this gem in the neighborhood sooner :)
