We were looking for an afternoon pick-me-up near Hotel Del Coronado and we found this place thanks to Yelp! It is right across the street!The place is bright and inviting. We were greeted right away by a smiling barista. I decided to get a large iced mocha and it was delicious!The pricing is fair for the area. We would definitely go back here again.

Pros: a good assortment of pastries that were surprisingly good. Also, the employees were very kind, and the environment was upbeat. Cons: the coffee was nothing to note. I ordered a large medium roast coffee and it was very watery. We did not go back for coffee but we did end up returning for a pastry.

This was my first time trying Buzz coffee. I gotta admit that I'm veryyy picky with coffee and not easily impressed. Drink 5/5Ordered a large iced vanilla bean latte 50% sweet. The vanilla bean syrup is made in house which I thought was unique. Then asked for more vanilla bean syrup on the side and slowly sweetened it more. The drink was absolutely perfect! It was so so delicious. Even my partner who's not a coffee drinker couldn't put it down. Service 4/5The girl at the cashier was sweet and suggested this drink when I told her I don't want an overly sweet drink. However, when I asked the Barista for more vanilla bean syrup, she just looked at me and grabbed it without saying a word.. Ambiance 5/5It's a very cute and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop. I love their branding with the bees and "Life is better Buzzed" line. They have plenty of seating if you want to hang out. It think it's a bit too loud and crowded for studying/doing work but they have wifi. Price 5/5My large drink was $7.59 and it was worth every penny! I think the price is average nowadays for a large latte. Overall Would definitely visit Buzz again when I come back to SD and the other drinks!

To the woman screaming people's names on 07/0624 at approximately noon: The way you end names in the most high pitched tone is earth shattering. You seem like a nice lady but I was dying to leave and dreading each time you called out a name. Please stop SCREAMING. It is the worst pitch in the entire world. I am so enraged typing this right now I don't know how corporate hasn't had to intervene yet. Please. For the love of god. Get somebody else doing this. Anybody but her. Food was good tho. Coffee was good tho.

Such a cute little affordable coffee shop in one of my favorite towns. My go to drink is always an iced matcha. One of the baristas - Sunshine always makes sure to make it correctly. I don't like when Matcha has that gritty texture ! Yuck! Her kindness and attentive service is always appreciated. It keeps me coming back ! They are really busy on weekends so I tend to go during the week days. I also love the classic killer bee iced coffee when I have a meeting or need a pick me up!

We love this place! It is your typical overpriced California coffee shop but it is SO yummy! We love the honey latte and the vanilla latte, as well as the Turkey pesto sandwich. The service is usually fairly quick, given how busy it is. It's definitely not the place to sit and study or do work at, it's usually busy and pretty loud. But for a quick coffee and sandwich, it's a great spot and delicious!

I looooveee Better Buzz! Two visits to SD, two visits to different Better Buzz locations. I love the branding and the offerings are solid. I got a hot coffee which was standard, and ended up getting a turkey sandwich as well. It was great! Coming from Florida, it's really cool to see a coffee chain like this.

I used to love stopping by coffee shops and studying while in college while I lived in San Diego. Recently it's not the same because I just have such a strong reaction to caffeine and sugar, as it would keep me up at night. I had to get one as I wasn't able to go to the bathroom my entire trip...unfortunately this didn't help. Which makes me wonder if it has much caffeine content or I got a watered down version? Sad. The shop was still cute and bathroom well maintained. Not sure if it was worth the $5+ though.

I needed a mid-afternoon pick-me-up and found Better Buzz as I was walking around on a nearly empty battery. Perfect timing! I was thrilled to find that they had a selection of pastries and drinks-just what I needed to recharge my battery and fill my belly. I ordered the orange matcha and a cranberry muffin-lots of citrus and probably enough sugar to bounce me into tomorrow. But it was delicious and I wasn't complaining. The décor and ambience is bright and fun. There's seating both indoor and outdoors; we opted to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine on a warm January day. I hear they might have other locations, and if I come across any of them, you'd better believe that I'll stop in! I have a better buzz and I'm happy about it.
