Wonderful service, cute decor & good coffee. Visiting town, this place is on the corner with a drive-thru & some outdoor seating on benches. The indoor seating is high top with stools.I got the cold brew & chocolate croissant; brew is smooth & just strong enough to get the day going, they warmed up the croissant, very lite with a generous amount of chocolate.

Hi-ya!This place was busy and across the street from our hotel. The service was fast, good and product was good. Their coffee was what we all needed and hit the spot and we all ordered a ciabatta sandwich, which were all made fast and tasted fairly decent. Overall, the atmosphere, service and food was on point.

I have had Better buzz coffee before, but it was many years ago. I decided to check out this location. I am familiar with this area, this location has been a few things in the past but it seems Better Buzz might be here to stay.There isn't much parking available so we had to find street parking which wasn't too bad.Inside decor was cute and hip, it did not seem to be very large but definitely some bar/bench type tables and I thought I saw some outside seating.Things we ordered:1. 2 Matcha Tea Lattes- My niece and I each got one. (different milks) I think we both liked our drinks, it seemed to have a pretty good Matcha flavor despite the added milk and vanilla. They could go less on the ice despite asking for light ice. 4/5 2. Bacon Ciabatta Sandwich - 'Cage-free eggs, bacon, muenster cheese, & spicy chipotle aioli on ciabatta'. This was ok, I thought for the price it would have been bigger and better. I am not sure I would get this again for the price. 2.5/53. Acai Bowl OG- 'Organic acai topped with vanilla almond granola, fresh berries, bananas, and honey-' This was one of the best Acai bowls I have ever had. I really enjoyed the honey and fruit and the best part was the granola was in chunks and it was delicious. I was so happy it was not soggy! 5/54. Blueberry Cornmeal Scone- This looked like a muffin top but it was a scone. Have heard several rave about Better Buzz specifically located in San Diego. Tried out the Vanilla Bean latte and Best Drink Ever! Both were really good! The vanilla bean latte has a slight sweetness to it, nothing too crazy, still good! The best drink ever.. highly recommend! Now it says that it's an americano, and normally Americano's are just pure espresso and water. I was expecting it to be quite strong or bitter, but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor! Definitely one of my favorites drinks I've had! This staff was really friendly and were able to help me with any questions. Also loved the pride decor to celebrate this month!The only downside is that there really isn't much parking for this location so be aware. However on the bright side, this location does have a drive-thru!

This place was highly recommended by locals. Crammed on the corner of Hugo and Rosecrans with a drive thru no less. Decent seating area inside but a small patio as well. Ordered two large coffees over 2 days, consistently good quality and robust dark roast blend. About $4 for large 20 oz? Cup. Staff pleasant and inside was clean. Gets busy. Recommend, 5 stars.

If I was on an expense account I'd gladly go to Better Buzz every day for weeks at a time. It's hard to find fault with a place that offers cinammon cream cold brew on tap.You may have heard me say I appreciate when a food or drink either has the name of the establishment, or appears in a rectangle with a large font and some version of "try our famous..." With a plane to catch as I sadly had to leave SD and return to the real world, I was glad to see the vanilla-laden "Best Drink Ever" and the "Better Breakfast" sandwich. While the size/value ratio isn't perfect, the havarti, bacon and garlic aioli are powerful enough to be mentioned in my next Ted Talk called "Stop Complaining About Free Motel Breakfasts And Go Somewhere Nearby."

Mostly everything excellent!! The workers are very nice and helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the Moroccan spice latte, it was spicy flavorful, but also (with my added shots) very coffee forward! The avocado toast also amazing! Spicy in its original form - I loved but too spicy for the wife. I ordered again the next day and asked for less spice. No probkem. Bottom line food fantastic. Some things could be better like bathrooms and the interior is sparse and kinda loud but overall great place. Love it!!
