I don't live near here, but wanted to find out what the buzz about this San Diego chain was all about. This Phoenix location is the first in Arizona for Better Buzz Coffee. I came here not too long after their opening when the lines were still a little crazy. I feel that they were efficient in moving the line as best as they could. Better Buzz Coffee serves a variety of handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks, teas, cold brews, smoothies, pastries and grilled sandwiches. The location has a drive-thru or you can sit and enjoy your drink inside. They have a lot of merchandise like hats, shirts and mugs, They also sell their coffee products to make at home. Better Buzz Coffee offers canned energy drink flavors called Buzz Energy. I was intrigued by their Moroccan Spice and Horchata Lattes, but opt for their classic Best Drink Ever. I wouldn't call it the best, but I did my first drink from here. I read that they are opening a location in the East Valley (close to home) and look forward to trying new flavors there.

California meets Arizona!!! This shop is such a classic in SoCal. Thankful they brought it to the desert. Worth the drive ( I'm about 40 mins away!) The shop is extremely instagramable. The atmosphere and buzz is so much fun! You must check out the merch. The cups + shirts are soooo cute and comfy!! I went for a visit to try their new fall menu. I tried a pumpkin spiced latte. Super super delicious & the beans are incredible. Every single employee was happy and very helpful. Can't wait for more locations to open.

Buzz Kill: Inconsistent Coffee, Inconsistent QualityAs someone who's always on the go, a great cup of coffee can make or break my day--there's nothing like that perfect buzz to keep me moving. Unfortunately, my experience at Better Buzz has been hit or miss, and consistency is key when it comes to coffee.I finally found myself in the area to give this place a try and see what all the hype was about. The first time I visited, I was blown away. The coffee was smooth, and the foam, which I hadn't even ordered, was a game changer. I walked away thinking I'd found a new favorite spot. But then I stopped by again today, really needing that boost, and I was disappointed. The coffee wasn't just a little off--it tasted downright bad. I grabbed my to-go cup and headed to a meeting, trusting that I'd get the same quality as before. Unfortunately, I didn't take a sip until I was walking into the meeting, and by then, it was too late to go back and get it fixed. The coffee was so off that it was hard to believe it came from the same place. Now I'm hesitant to return. The inconsistency is a big red flag, especially when you rely on your coffee to be reliably good. I want to love Better Buzz, but until they can deliver that same quality every time, I'll have to think twice before going back.On a bright note, staff was very nice & thought the insta wall decor was cute allowing you to snap a pic at the drive thru giving even the outside of the building a fun decor.

Couldn't wait for Better Buzz to finally come over to AZ. Really enjoyed it when we were visiting in California. Some of the prior reviews are complaining about staff and their attitude, but overall we have had a decent experience with them. I have had a few people at the counter who didn't ring my drinks up properly but those situations were easy to fix. But it is hard to get the attention of any staff members if you need something after they hand you your drink. I understand they are busy, but if a customer is standing there and is waiting to get your attention, the least you can do is acknowledge them. We love their coffee and they offer really delicious flavors. Last time I opted for a smoothie because I couldn't do caffeine, unfortunately the mango smoothie isn't something I would get again. Lacked any true fruit flavor, very subtle and tasted watered down. Inside is always clean, never had an issue with that. My usual go to is either the hazelnut divinity or the snickerdoodle latte. They are on the sweet side, so I definitely ask for 50-75%. Give them a shot if you are in the area.

It's okay coffee. There is a lot of hype around it because it's from San Diego.Parking lot is a bit of a mess. There's 7-8 spots. But the drive through line blocks your car from exciting when the line is 4-5 cars deep. I tried their "best drink ever." That's a cap.

I like this place, although the parking lot is very small. It's kind of hard to turn into and be careful the car behind you isn't tailgating you. Once inside it's cute with tables, and counter seating. I'm old school and found the drinks to be great and the pastries superb. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Drive thru is busy.My only complaint is the music is VERY loud! So loud it's hard to have a conversation. Coffee and conversation go hand in hand. We did ask for them to turn it down but were told that corporate controls the music and they (the employees) find themselves having to yell Also.I'm not sure how true that is but would suggest to corporate that again "Coffee and conversation" go hand in hand. Not loud music and coffee

This coffee shop was super cute and I love all the decor and sayings they have around the shop. They also have a little section where you can buy little gifts and apparel. The service was very friendly and fast, and my iced latte was delish!

There's better coffee in the valley (by a lot). The layout isn't good for a drive thru so it causes a ton of back up when it's busy. Food was alright and staff were nice so that's why I gave it 2 stars but definitely wouldn't go back for coffee. We got the hazelnut divinity and Moroccan spice coffees

As a fan of Better Buzz's California locations, I was thrilled when they opened their new spot in Phoenix, AZ. While still tasty, only giving it 3 stars because I don't think it stacks up to the shops in California. The drinks don't taste as creamy, although they are still good. My go-to order is the Best Drink Ever paired with the Ham and Cheese Croissant. The vanilla coffee drink is on the sweater side which I prefer, while the croissant is perfectly flakey--I highly recommend getting it warmed up for an extra treat. However, a couple more drawbacks for me aside from the inconsistencies across locations: Parking can be quite challenging, although I appreciate the efforts made for traffic control. Inside, seating is limited, making it difficult to find a spot and it's hard to navigate if there are any sort of larger groups/strollers by tables. Adding a patio seating area would be a fantastic addition, especially during the nicer months in Phoenix. Get there early on the weekends for a more laid back experience and this probably won't be an issue.

Coffee is hard to disappoint or wow you so for an old man who only gets black coffee or when I want to spice things up an Americano just know this review is based heavily on my kids opinions, who love it here! Oldest got a cinnamon latte that she said tasted like horchata my middle daughter the chocolate smoothie and my youngest the mango smoothie. Wife also really enjoyed a white mocha but according to the tribe the pastries were fire. All in all it's another great coffee spot to add to your collection. However do be very careful driving in and out of this location, I must say not a reflection of the business but I've never scene so many inept drivers in my life in just the 30 minutes we were there. Seems everyone forgets how to drive till they've gotten buzzed around these parts
