Better Blendz

Here's the thing: 96% of the time I pay for a smoothie, it ends up missing the mark and I wish I had just made my own at home. That is not the case with Better Blendz! I absolutely loved my smoothie and cannot wait to try what else they have to offer. My date got the Blueberry Bliss (he loved his, but I'm not a fan of cinnamon so it wasn't a surprise I didn't enjoy it as much) and I got the Keto Mint Chip. I was not expecting them to use fresh mint leaves in their smoothie and the first sip joyfully surprised me! It wasn't overly sweet or minty, but just amazing for every sip. The smoothie was all-around refreshing on such a hot summer day.Exceptional service, environment, and smoothies! I will definitely be back (and so will my pup)!

Cute local smoothie/juice spot, very pink and instagrammable space short walk from north park's main intersection. Nice on a hot day. The regular size was around $9 which I felt was a little high, so I opted for a large which I think was only a $1 more and a better value imo. They have a good variety of smoothies and juices and it was hard to pick just one! I appreciate the balance of healthy things in their recipes like kale and ginger with tastier fruits. Service was friendly I think they were training new staff.

Super cute and quaint juicing spot. I love all the options for fresh juice and smoothies. I ordered the minty melon juice. I wish it was a tad sweeter and cold, but it was super refreshing! I only got pictures of the menu and inside seating. The couches are super comfy. I'd come back for a smoothie!

Super Cute Place To Enjoy Healthy Smoothiez, Açaí Bowlz and More!, I've drive up 30th Street several times but this place with the pretty pink cherry blossom flowers at both sides of the front entrance was so attractive and appealing, I had to check it out. Parking is problematic so you'd probably have to make a u turn and park across the street heading southbound on 30th if you're lucky enough to find a space or keep driving until you find a spot in the grocery store lot. Just be careful to not be too long for them to tow you. It's very cute inside. The Açaí colored couch under the neon "Açaí You Baby" signage with the pink palm trees in the corner create a cool vibe to this healthy place to grab freshly made to order smoothies, açaí bowls, toasts, juices and other Blendz. Although there was only one pleasant girl working the whole place, she provided quick efficient service taking orders, making the orders and having them ready to enjoy as quick and possible. My only complaint was having my Pura Vida Bowl served in such a huge container that it made me feel like they could have put more in. If it's only a small amount, it should be presented in a smaller container so as not to inflate one's expectation. Other than that, the quality was good, delicious and enjoyable! Strawberries and watermelons were sweet and went well with the açaí berries and nuts. I enjoyed the space on this hot 86F day in Sunny San Diego and can't wait to return to try more of their delicious healthy and nutritious goodies! As it says on the top of their door leaving the premises, "AÇAÍ YOU LATER BABY!"

I stopped by randomly on my walk from PT. The restaurant itself is pretty small and the decor is super cute! Staff were nice. Parking (as usual) in North Park isn't the easiest, but I found metered parking right out front. I ordered an egg, bacon, spinach ciabatta breakfast sandwich. I honestly wasn't impressed with the flavor for $11. It just looked thrown together and sloppy. Definitely needed some hot sauce or other flavor. I think I should've gotten a smoothie and called it a day! Probably won't be back especially for the price point.

Drive by and the place caught my eye since I love acai bowls personally. Great decor but unfortunately I can't say my first experience was good. Walked in and well the place was empty so I thought cool no line but the girl who was working this morning seemed so uninterested. I smiled and said hello once I made eye contact with her but she seemed more keen on finishing her txt before helping me. I awkwardly stood there just looking around and even said "alrighty" but I'm sure she didn't hear me since I realized she also had her headphones in. When it came time to take my order not even a greeting or apology but instead just an immediate "ok" and waited to take my order. She was quicker to finish the bowl than her txt and get me out cause even after when I said thank you have a good day she just gave me a bothered look and I'm not sure what she said since I was already leaving but I just wanted get out since I didn't even wanna be there with that bad energy. I've worked my variety of jobs and I understand bad days but no need to take it out on other people who you don't even know.

I will say this, the owner of this restaurant is so kind, thoughtful, considerate and listens to the issues of her customers. I did have an issue and she quickly rectified and did everything in her power to make sure I was satisfied and the issue was remedied. This is such a cute place and because of her professionalism and ability to empathize with her customers, I am more than happy to give this place another try when I'm in San Diego. Please continue to support small businesses who are doing their best to serve the community. Especially healthier establishments like this one. Blissings

I've been trying to replace coffee with juices. It use to be a different juice company but I think it has a new owner so it's Better Blendz now. Today I wanted to try the Can't Beet it, it has beet, carrot, orange and spinach. But I replaced my spinach with celery instead. It's pretty sweet and I like it, it's not over the top in sweetness either. You should pay cash because cards will charge a 3%. The price for the drink was 10.28 for a 24 oz which isn't too bad. Service was quick and easy. The shop has a couple of seats to seat if you do want to relax a bit.

Stopped in here just before closing. Fast and friendly service. Delicious smoothie. Enjoyed the funky monkey. They also have food and juice options along with healthy immunize boosting shots.

Stopped by for a smoothie. It was really good. Staff was amazing. Place is chill. Would come back for sure
