Best Pizza & Brew - Cardiff

Stopped in for a couple slices on a Monday night with friends and it was PACKED! Nevertheless, our order came out fast and the service was friendly. Fairly reasonable pricing and the pizza was very good. If you like a thin NY style slice, you'll like this. It was not very greasy either which was nice. They had a Sicilian style slice of the night which also looked very appetizing if you prefer something heartier. Patio is heated.

By far the grossest pizza slices I've ever consumed. This would be a 1 star review, but their slice and t-shirt combo was pretty cool...However, their pizza slices -- the Buffalo pizza more than the bbq pizza -- was the oiliest, yes oiliest, thing I have ever seen. I did try it, and it was quite the mistake. Not only did it LOOK super oily, but it tasted like straight oil. It was utterly disgusting. The service was just okay. They were pretty busy, and the staff seemed pretty overwhelmed. The bathroom, specifically the women's, looked like a mess with the over flowing trash can & empty toilet paper rolls. Not sure if I'd be up to try this place again... especially when there's plenty of other pizza joints nearby,

Came down for ComicCon and had to give this place a try before heading back home. If you are a garlic lover, get the White! Huge chunks of garlic with grilled onions. Super yummy and the spices all came out in no time at all. Very lively atmosphere and all the staff were quick to offer a side of complementary ranch and a to-go box. Will definitely return when back in the area!

Quick, delicious, good vibes and friendly servers. What's not to like? After a half day of birding and hiking, we were hungry. Our intention was to have lunch mid-day then head out for dinner after sunset. We left Best Pizza full and satisfied. No need for dinner. We each had a slice of pizza + salad special for $11. Very reasonable. The traditional salad was an unexpected surprise. Perfectly crisp and fresh lettuce with apple slices, dried cranberries, candied pecans and feta. The vinaigrette came in the salad and was not overpowering at all..... a sweet lemony taste that was not too oily. I had a thick crust Detroit pizza (pesto, pepperoni and ricotta) and my husband had the goat cheese & pesto thin crust. The pizza is available in the display case and warmed to serve. It might be a tad drier than a fresh-made pizza but we both really enjoyed the flavor and texture. We went back and ordered garlic knots, 3-per order per person. Really tasty. We chose the ranch dipping sauce but both agreed they were better on their own. Though we aren't beer drinkers, there were many cups ordered around us and people seemed content. The view is nice across the busy street, with peeks of the ocean. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Nice tunes if you like that vibe. Definitely worth a stop. Reasonable prices and attentive, helpful servers.

June 21, 2024 down in the Encinitas area hanging out with my high school friends celebrating their birthdays. So many great places to eat in the area went to best peace and brew in Cardiff by the sea Even though the pizza smelled delicious display pizza look delicious. We decided to go with a couple of cheeseburgers, french fries and their delicious iced tea has to be the best cheeseburger I've ever had from a restaurant in a long time. The customer service was excellent food was excellent. They opened at 11 AM by the time we gotthere at 11:1115 they were pretty busy goes to tell you that this is a great restaurant to eat and I highlyrecommend. parking. Can be a little tight, but if you could find parking on the street, I do highly suggest.

Delicious pizza, unpretentious place with good beer selection. Be sure to come in pint night for a good deal on the beer of the day. Came here with the kids, and everyone loved their food. Overall a very positive experience. It really is the best!

It's in the name of the restaurant, this is the best pizza we've ever had. Fun atmosphere, great workers. Mason is a STUD at the bar. Thank you guys so much for a great experience!

I'm from LA and wanted a place like this...but it's better than I thought possible.Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff everywhere. Reminds me of an experience nat a. puck restaurant, any where. The receptionists make you feel like the party can start now that you are here. And the food is excellent. The deep dish was worth returning for lunch tomorrow for. Now the wings just arrived. No one seem to be waiting for anything. I'd bet hat some management consultant would have a heart attack over the number of of employees on the floor, but that is the exact type of person who might not understand he magic....great food, never an empty. Plate as servers don't seem to just deliver, they ask if they can get something more.It is 8 20 Thursday night and they are full. I got a table in a minute. I am guessing earlier times are more crowded still. Because half the restaurant is out of doors, it doesn't feel crampedThe wings are a knockout. The barbeque sauce to die for.If I were just out of school and hoping to do something large or small in the hospitality industry, I would try to get a job here in any capacity. I have no idea who owns the restaurant, whether they own others, and whether my experience here would be duplicated at another of their restaurants. I bet it would. What is their secret.? Worth finding out.Note to the editors. Long ago, I z wrote a review of a dance school" I attended yo get ready for my daughter's wedding because the school succeeded in moving me from a to an F-,I suppose that my report was too positive and was relegated to the section that is labeled suspect or something like that. Nonsense then and don't try that again here. This the real thing
