I ordered takeout from Best of India last night, and it was absolutely delicious! We tried garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, and butter chicken. All were wonderful. The food traveled well, and the takeout portions are very generous. Each entree came with a full takeout box of rice. We had enough for leftovers for two people the following day, and the food reheated well. This will become a takeout go-to in our home!

Visited here to check out the lunch Buffett. They still have lunch buffet each day. It was well stocked with most popular Indian dishes fresh salad raita, fruit, tikka chicken, butter chicken, veggie and chicken korma and some veggie dishes with naan. One star loss is likely not the restaurant's fault. We were the only ones there around noon and a lot of the oil was separated at the buffet dishes and the naan was not warm. Our service was quick and friendly. The butter chicken and tikka chicken were quite good. I liked that they offered yellow rice as well as white. Outside of the main Indian staples I thought a lot of the dishes were rather salty (the salad in particular which seemed odd as well as the lentil side.) mold on the ceiling tiles in the ladies bathroom. Crazy to say I would eat here again though because the butter chicken and other staples were good. Before we left they brought us out fresh naan which was significantly better than some of the other Indian restaurants I have had in the area. If I lived closer I could definitely see myself ordering to go from here.

Ordered takeout from Best of India. The food was quickly delivered and was delicious!Total order included the Garlic Naan, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Chicken Makhani. Both entrees included a heaping pile of rice which was easy to lay the entree on top. The Naan was also fantastic. Will order from again!

The food is 10 out of 10! flavorful, fresh ingredients and you can tell the chef cooks with love and passion. The restaurant is simple, but chill, comfortable and clean.

It's the day before thanksgiving so of course no one wants to cook. Sister suggested Indian food claiming she knew a great spot that was the Best of India. I thought there's no way it's the best of India since we're in Nashville until she informed that's literally the name of the place. Since we were in the east side of Nashville and the place is on the west side, you do what people do these days: UberEats. So we did a large order and got home right after it was delivered and dug in after making everything presentable. We ordered the following:Rice Kuba (Excellent!)Chicken Samosa (OK)Garlic Naan (OK)Fish Curry (Good)Lamb Curry (Excellent!)Chicken 65 (Excellent!)Veggie Tikka Masala (Good)Obviously the Rice Kuba, Lamb Curry and Chicken 65 were the winners here. The Rice Kuba is filled with a rice/beef filling and then flash fried; drown it in that cilantro dressing, H@@@@ALSLDHG!!!!!! Lamb Curry we ordered very spicy which kicked our taste buds; yet we couldn't stop eating it. Chicken 65 had great texture and complimented with the sauteed onions. Fish Curry is salmon-based and the salmon was tender although the curry sauce wasn't at the level as the lamb curry. The Veggie Tikka Masala was solid. The Samosa and Garlic Naan were the same as any other indian place; serviceable but not over the top.So it's not the best Indian food I've had but very good and left a good impression. If this is the best of Nashville, they may need some competition in the area but it's nice to know there's a deliverable option within my family's Nashville residence should we get a hankering for Indian cuisine. Definitely better than cooking before the turkey day!

I love getting takeout here! They are always fast and efficient. I like to get the paneer tikka masala and naan. It's always delicious. I think it's a little pricey, but they often send out coupons so I typically wait til I have one to use.
