Delicious! I've ordered takeout twice and enjoyed the fresh, authentic, and affordable food. So far I've tried their General Tso chicken (cliche but it's my favorite dish here), House Special chow mein, crispy spicy Sichuan chicken, and garlic chicken. Extra stars for not charging an arm and leg; you get A LOT for what you pay for. $50 for two large entrees, multiple drinks, large plate of chow mein feeds my family for multiple days. The only drawback is that it can be greasy, it's good greasy, never too much or pooling, but you may need some Tums if you eat a bunch here. Easy 4.5/5.

This restaurant has a good blend of traditional Chinese dishes and Chinese American dishes on the menu. I ordered twice cooked pork, Mongolian beef, house special fried rice, pork pot stickers and sweet and sour prawns. The twice cooked pork had decent flavor, but the pork belly used in the dish had certain portion that were crispy and other potions that were not crispy. This made the texture when chewing the dish not very appealing. The Mongolian beef and house special fried rice were good. The pot stickers and sweet and sour prawns were exceptional. Overall, this was a good experience.

Haven't been here for a while and I'm so glad I came. I think the owners have changed since I've been here? The customer service was good and this place is one of the few remaining places that give you tea with your meal. My thoughts on the food...House fried rice: wasn't dry, good quality proteins, not overly greasy, good seasoning and not bland. Honey walnut prawns: good amount of breading, still crunchy with sauce, not overly dressed and dripping with sauce, prawns were fresh and nicely prepared (did not have a overly fishy odor).Parking can be a little challenging, but there is plenty of overflow parking to the left and skate rink. Currently my favorite sit down Chinese restaurant locally.

This is not only my favorite Szechuan restaurant but one of my favorite restaurants period. I've been coming here for years. If you're getting plain old American style Chinese food here you are missing out! The Szechuan is spectacular! My go to is the pork in hot garlic sauce. But I always try to expand my choices and find a new dish each time I come. The wild chili beef is also great! It saddens me to see negative reviews from people who order through a delivery service and complain that the food was cold, delivered wrong etc. Those are delivery issues! Get off your butt go in sit down and get the best version of the food! They have been here a long time and doing it great! I just wish it was closer as I'm not in Lynnwood that much but I try to find excuses to swing by just to get my Szechuan fix!

Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. It's the most unassuming exterior, and just enough off the main road that it could be missed if you aren't aware. I certainly wasn't and I've lived here a majority of my life. The menu is VAST ... far bigger than any menu at a Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. There are many things on the menu that I probably will never try because simply not into bone-in frog or rabbit offerings, so for the first run I stuck with some familiar things: BBQ Pork, Hot & Sour Soup, and Kung Pao Chicken (off the American menu section). The BBQ pork was the BEST I've ever had. It wasn't that red leathery-looking stuff that's common in most other places. It has set a new standard for me and BBQ pork. Flavorful, tender, absolutely perfect. The hot and sour soup was great as well. Very peppery though, and had to dig out a couple of rather large mushrooms. But overall quite good. Might try another soup at some point.Entree time, and went with Kung Pao Chicken. I have a standard bearer at another (non-Chinese) restaurant and while this wasn't it, the sauce and flavor was absoultely on par. I didn't much care for how wet the entree was and the chicken had a few gristly pieces, but overall hard to complain. Not having any sort of coating on the chicken made it challenging to operate the chopsticks but that's okay, probably just my dumb white American hands not doing it correctly. It was pretty good though overall. What would make it better? Well there were next to zero explanations or examples of the entrees on the menu. So really had to go off of familiar names. Also, the inability to order a smaller portion of veggies like a side of green beans isn't an option. The only way to get that is to order basically another entree, which is way too expensive for sauteed green beans. Something like half the size and half the price would've made it a lot better.Keep your phone handy so you can search out the entrees so you have a better idea of what you're getting. The server didn't strike me as wanting to linger to explain too many things so a little research ahead of time might save some angst when it's time to order. Can recommend, and have a few more things to try for a subsequent visit.

Absolutely not recommended! Food was greasy, delivery was a mess...I called to check on a missing sauce and was simply told "if you don't like it don't order from us." (It was cold ginger chicken for about $25 with no ginger sauce - just blandly boiled chicken pieces.)

The things we ordered include: 1. Bean jelly noodles with chili oil: it was OK, not as spicy as I expected, and a little too sweet. 2. Beef tripe hot pot: it lacks the hot pot flavor, it's more like meats + veggies cooked in salty broth. 3. Dandan noodles: this tasted OK, a bit too salty though. Generous portion though, and reasonable price.

After reading a review in a local paper, we've done takeout at Best of Chengdu twice, and we've loved it both times. Food was ready just when they told us it would be, and the people there are very nice.On our most recent visit, we got soup for 2, sautéed cabbage, kung pao chicken, house special tofu, and steamed rice. First thing we noticed was that portions are huge - a great value! Two of us got three meals each for less than $60. But portion size means nothing if the food disappoints. And we definitely were not disappointed. Cabbage was cooked perfectly with just a bit of spiciness. Kung pao was delicious. Mostly chicken with some vegetables and a really tasty somewhat spicy sauce. Tofu was EXCELLENT. Cooked to a perfect consistency, lots of meat, and an incredible sauce, From now on, when we're craving Szechuan, Best of Chengdu will be our go to place.
