Easily the fluffiest, best croissant I've ever had. Tip: The space itself can feel very small and claustrophobic if you're not used to it.

Found Berdena's while looking for a good breakfast sandwich. Found it here! Wasn't a huge fan of the Espresso Tonic that I ordered, but the sandwich was really good. It was a good size sandwich on a perfectly soft brioche and I enjoyed it. Customer service was okay and parking wasn't too bad. No parking lot but plenty of spaces in front of the shops. Would return for the sandwich and another espresso or coffee drink.

As i've been trying local coffee around scottsdale I was recommended this place and it definitely was up to my standards. I got an iced lavender honey latte - one of my favorite flavor combos - and it was delicious (but nothing I haven't had before). They measure their syrups out into the coffee cups which I almost never see...this is incredible because you know that your coffee will be consistent everytime! A lot of places tend to be inconsistent in their sweetness levels from time to time, so this is definitely a plus. I took a star off of this review because unfortunately I think that the layout of the shop is really a downside. There were a handful of people ahead of me when I arrived, and it was quite crammed and uncomfortable where you have to stand and wait. It is way too crowded inside and made the waiting experience a bit frustrating. It did have some tables where people were sitting to chat or work, but I personally would not choose this place as a go to for focusing on my computer due to the crowded nature. Of course this is not a reflection of the coffee or the service and reorganizing the layout is not an easy fix, however I just simply am stating it as something to note before coming in. The service was good, once again nothing special. Prices were about reasonable for a small coffee shop!Overall it was worth trying, but not sure I would go out of my way to come back :)

Got coffee and the breakfast sandwich here and thoroughly enjoyed. This location is pretty small but there is some indoor and outdoor seating. The workers here are always very nice and the service is pretty quick. Definitely a great place to grab something to go!

Charming little coffee shop, ideal for a quick coffee and chat with a friend or coworker. I tried the lavender latte, but it was disappointingly small and lacked lavender flavor. The raspberry/mixed berry puff pastry was just average, nothing memorable. The cashier appeared annoyed while taking our order, though they were friendlier with other customers. Spending $26 for two lattes and two pastries felt overpriced--unfortunately, not worth a return visit.

Really cute, quaint spot in Old Town! The associates working here were friendly and conversational with customers during my visit, which was nice to see. I ordered the cardamom rose iced latte to drink and the smashed avocado toast with fried egg to eat and it was very yummy! The bread was lightly grilled, which yielded a nice crunch to what would have otherwise been mushy. They were super generous with their avocado spread and it seemed like they might have combined a smooth spread with coarsely chopped avocado, something I liked. The egg on top had a perfectly runny yolk, too! The shop might consider not serving on top of the parchment paper because as I ate and cut bites, pieces of the paper were making their way into my food. The plasticware also didn't seem quite sturdy enough, or maybe I was just being overzealous with my cutting! At any rate, the plastic ware broke, so I just ate the rest by hand - no big deal!

I got three lattes here, to go, on a Wednesday morning. Everything was hot, tasty, and made pretty quickly - and there was only one person running the till and making the coffees, and one doing the food. the total with tip was $17.xx. Pretty typical, especially for Scottsdale. I didn't get to select my size (I think it was a 10 or 12 oz cup?); I think they should offer gigantic sizes is because the latte was SO DARN GOOD. I got the cardamom rose, which is always a gamble because it could taste like soap or lotion. It paid off because the rose was just a hint, and it was absolutely perfect. My hotel was 0.3 miles away and I drank the whole thing before I even got back (again, def need a bigger size!).It was also not all that crowded, only a few people ahead of me. We actually left a different place down the road because it was insanely crowded, and this was a nice surprise, especially because we had to get back to jump on a call. Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely coming here for my morning jump start.

Stopped by here to try the avocado toast. It was delicious and I would def come back for it. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, which was just okay. I couldn't really taste the espresso, so maybe too much milk. The customer service was good and quick. The vibes in here are cute, but super small so hard to find a seat on the weekend! Will be back to try the blueberry scone!

Good avocado toast. Just wish they had told me about the red pepper flakes...I don't like them! Good coffee and green tea. My GF had the blueberry cornbread scone and enjoyed it. Very crowded. They need a couple more tables on the patio.

Love this place, the coffee is delicious. The food and avocado toast are delectable, location is great. I do wish they would open earlier in the morning, but otherwise totally recommend it and love getting to meet people at the community table there. I only wish all of the chairs had backs because the stools can be uncomfortable to sit on and very loud when dragged.
