I'll never say no to a good bagel and schmear, and Benji's is definitely serving up some tasty options. I've visited this new bagel + coffee house twice in the last few months, and think it's a solid option when you're craving a hearty breakfast! On my first visit, I kept it simple and ordered a toasted Everything bagel with mixed berry schmear on one half and scallion schmear on the other half. This was exactly what I wanted it to be ... warm and crunchy bagel topped with creamy and flavorful schmear.I will note too that Benji's gets busy, especially on the weekends! My first visit was on a weekday around noon and there was no line ... but my most recent visit was on a Sunday morning and we waited for 20 minutes. This time around, I ordered the Hangover bagel sandwich on an Everything bagel, and added on their new Firecracker schmear. Let me just say that this schmear is something special ... it's full of flavor with roasted jalapeno and caramelized onion, and packs a bit of a heat! The rest of the sandwich was OK ... not the best I've ever had, but not bad. We also went home with some of Benji's freshly baked cookies - the gluten-free walnut and chocolate chip shortbread were the perfect sweet treats to balance out our savory bagels!

Benji's has been a staple in my breakfast rotation for a couple weeks now. There is parking around back. They can get a bit of a line especially on the weekends, but it moves at a moderate pace. Very cute, café style. I almost always take it to go, but there is a good amount of indoor seating as well as a small area people usually sit and eat out front. Only advice would be to be prepared for certain bagels to not be available towards that last hour of the day! My go to is the rise and shine with bacon on a plain or everything bagel, the chili crunch cream cheese is my favorite thing ever and my new obsession. Sometimes I get a chai tea with milk and also delicious. Check em out.

This place is a gem!!!! So delicious, huge portions and very cheap for the quality/amount of food you get. It gets super busy, for good reason, so try to come early if you can. We tried a few of the bagels, and the rise and shine was incredible. I am obsessed with the chili crunch cream cheese. We also got some coffees which were great and a muffin which was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Okay I have FINALLY been able to take 40 minutes of my morning and get in line for the famous Benji's Bagel. This bagel shop is amazing their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and their bagels are soo fluffy and full of flavor. They also have multiple shmears that are calling my name. In the bright side it has been open for about 4 month close to 5? not totally sure but they STILL have a line out the door some mornings. On the downside, if you have somewhere to be, ensure you have enough time to stand in line and wait for your order. Note they do have coffee and pastries and the coffee was delicious but the banana walnut muffin that I ordered was not my fav, it had a huge chunk of banana, was not a fan and it was a little dry.For bagels 10/10, service was 10/10, wait time (5/10)! I will be back to try out other bagel flavors.

The lively semi-industrial of this building on Robertson has been made cozy with pretty tile, simple artwork, and a fridge display full of some of the cream cheeses Benji's has to offer. They have a pretty standard coffee menu--drip, espresso drink, and a Greek style frappe--and a wide array of bagels and schmears. I arrived at the beginning of the morning rush, and once the staff were settled at their stations, service was quick and kind. The sesame bagel I had was excellent and definitely made me want to try more of their offerings. On my New Yorker, I would've preferred red onion over yellow/white, but the overall effect was still really tasty. The lemon caper cream cheese was flavorful without overwhelming the bagel or the lox. The iced latte I had was just okay; since this seems to be a bagel place first and foremost, I wouldn't go expecting the coffee of a lifetime, but when I'm back for my next bagel I think I'll try their brown sugar syrup in a drink.Parking is plentiful if a little confusing. You have to go past the building on Robertson, turn right into the lot, and then walk through two buildings until you see their sign on the sidewalk.

Super cute bagel shop in west nashville, open just early enough for my post night shift brekkie!Weekends are crowded but the line goes quickly and they're pretty efficient about getting orders out!I got the everything bagel with chili crunch cc as well as a za'tar bagel with spicy cucumber dill cc. Both are outstanding and the bagels have great seasoning and chew! I'll definitely be back for some sandwiches!

Let's start with the highlights: Service: the staff was incredibly kind and friendly explaining all the menu options to each customer with a smile. Because they went above and beyond in explaining the menu the line moved so slowly. It took about 3-5 minutes per customer to order. Food: the insides of the bagels are bar-none. The sun dried tomato cream cheese was delicious, the arugula, and prosciutto combined for a light and tasty aromatic experience. My wife ate the rise and shine and the insides of the bagel were delicious as well. Areas to improve: bagels were cold, they should come toasted, bagels were very thick and almost dry. The experience in the line was frustrating as not enough staff was working the kitchen (seemed like 3-4 people total and 1 person FOH). The line moved at a snails pace, and the food was the same speed. I think as Benjis place as more time to iron out the kinks and hire more staff, the quality and speed will improve. Best part: parking was easy, coffee was one of the best we had in Nashville and the ambiance was uplifting, bright and happy.

Stopped in to check things out after seeing this place featured on the evening news. Plenty of parking behind the building. We ordered a couple of bagels to go. One sesame seed and one plain. The only sweet option was a mocha cream cheese. There were plenty of savory flavors of cream cheese. We got the mocha flavor. It was whipped nice and fluffy and had a nice subtle coffee flavor. The bagels were toasted. They had a good chewy crust and dense middle. They were very large bagels. Service was quick and friendly. The space was bright and inviting.

Benji's is such a great addition to the West Nashville area! I'm always looking for good bagel places, especially being from NJ! When I heard about Benji's I knew I had to try it out, especially with this convenient location. This time, I got the cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese. I got there right before it opened since it was a Sunday, and last time I went the line was almost out the door! So if you get there a little later on in the morning on a weekend, be prepared to wait a little bit it was worth it! The cheddar bagel was as cheesy as can he and the consistency of the bagel is just like a Jersey bagel! The scallion cream cheese paired with that bagel went so well. I would also recommend the rosemary salt bagel with the garlic honey rosemary cream cheese. The salty and sweet combination was delicious and unlike anything I've ever had before on a bagel!Everyone who works there works very hard and you can tell they have a great staff!

This is an amazing breakfast place! Actually, we could have bagels anytime during the day so as long as it's open, enjoy yourself! I was amazed with how many different flavor cream cheese they have. Additionally, we took a carrot cake to go, It was amazing! We live in California, so unfortunately I can't go, which might be a good thing because I would go every day.Customer service is welcoming and makes you want to return
