Bellino's Trattoria

Came here for a business meal and asked for a quiet table. We got that. A wonderful table and a fabulous server. She made sure everything moved along on time. The appetizer was a lovely bruschetta that was both crunchy and moist. The tomatoes were insane. We each had pasta for an entrée and the food was very good. Portion size was fabulous and well prepared and served. The ambiance was lovely, basic Italian. Very charming.I'd not hesitate to come back here for another meal -- very good.

First, let me say the view and the decor are both lovely. It's great to sit outside in the summer and look out at the water.The food, for me, ranges from mediocre to good depending on what you order. I've never had a bad meal here, but really never been "wowed" either. I do think the quality of the olive oil they serve on the tables for bread dipping is subpar though.The service was neither poor nor terrific for me in the past, BUT last time I was there I was really disappointed. We were greeted by a rather unenthusiastic hostess, who seated us at a table directly in the hot sun on a sweltering summer day. There were only 2 other parties eating outside, so there were plenty of tables for her to choose from. Before we had a chance to get settled and realize it would be horribly uncomfortable, she was gone. We found no staff to ask so, after waiting about 5 minutes, we moved ourselves one table over. When the hostess came back to seat another party we explained the situation and, instead of being apologetic or gracious, she gave us a dirty look and muttered something about the place settings as if we'd done something horribly egregious!!Meanwhile, the waitress had come over and, without introducing herself (found out from the bill her name is Pamella S.), just asked if we wanted plain or bubbly water. We thought that it was a nice option so we ordered bubbly water. She never told us we would be charged for a whole bottle of Pellegrino at the end! She made it sound like it was complimentary, like the regular water. Even beyond that, we found this server to be quite aloof and it honestly made us feel as though we may not come back.

I have driven by this restaurant for over 10 years and never gave it a try that is until a couple of friends asked us to join them for dinner. We had a reservation and were seated right on time. The atmosphere was fine not super formal and not too casual. The tables were spacious and the noise level was good. The menu offerings are more than ample with a good mix of seafood, pasta and other American cuisine. The service was very good and we never wanted for anything all night. We ordered calamari and a Mediterranean salad for appetizers. The salad fed 4 and the calamari was crispy and tasty. For entrees I ordered the Salmon over vegetable risotto. The meal was tasty but the salmon was a bit overcooked. My wife ordered Frutti Di Mare fra diavolo. The dish was tasty and had plenty of fish. Overall the experience graded out to a solid 4 and we will go back.

Service is fabulous !!!! food was delicious we had a birthday for my mom 16 people they set the table so we could all sit together.I especially liked my steak tips . Happy to have found this nice restaurant!!!

Solid option serving italian classics. Our party tried a couple of different pasta dishes from bolognese to gnocchi and everyone was happy with their dishes. We were there during off hours and they still had a steady stream of regulars coming in. Place can accommodate large parties. Service was friendly.

Meh. Loud and the food was edible. There is not much more to say. It's a bit sterile. The food was ok bit not impressive in any way. Strip steak cut way too thin and risotto was white rice. In the end, not comfortable or particularly memorable. Just meh. No hostess The table had seats that could not be reached by wait staff.

Fabulous pizza. Thin crust, not a lot of dough around the edges so you can still eat it. Sauce is not too sweet. Have eaten in. It gets loud with the after work bar crowd. Shrimp scampi loaded with shrimp light sauce. Also love the eggplant rolatini.

Winthrop location. Service was ok ... Ambiance was nice Food not so good :( Baked haddock was small and bland The calamari was ok. I think there was more peppers than calamari. And the haddock came with home fries that u get at breakfast. Very disappointed. I asked for rice instead and they said they don't have rice. lol. I'll try again for my second try .... MAYBE

I had my husband's birthday party there for 16 people. The food was delicious. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts.The service was excellent. Our server Pamela was outstanding handling the large number of people.Our guests enjoyed themselves- it was a great night!
