We like the fact that this restaurant is hooked to Ponce City Market, just steps from shopping. This was our second try at this restaurant. Our second birthday dinner celebration was a bust. There are very few gluten-free options. Salad & bread have to be ordered separately with a large price tag. They give you a very small glass of water, the pasta was very al dente the shrimp was over cooked & chewy. We sat inside because it was so hot, but it ended up being cooler outside & May in Georgie it is HOT. We sat inside at a table where we were sat so close to the other customers, I was elbowed in the back. Our waitress grabbed her purse and left the restaurant before we even got done eating. We had 6 in our party, so a 20% tip was added to the check before the tax, so we were taxed on the tip. It was a very frustrating uncomfortable situation.

We tried 3 different pastas, and liked all 3. The ragú, spaghetti and meatballs, and carbonara were all tasty, and prices are honestly cheap for what it is. I also tried their whiskey sour, and it was delicious but pricey. Probably not the bar in Ponce to go get a bunch of drinks at, but it is very quiet in the back. Food came out quick too.

Good service, good food, and a nice vibe right inside Ponce City Market. It doesn't feel like a food court sitch because of the thoughtful decor. I saw people making pasta in a class when I left, which was cool. I got the soup and the Italian mac and cheese - gluten-free! I had hoped for more fish options or a gluten free foccacia because I am a big dreamer, but I was happy to have what I had.

This place was always busy so when we wanted a mid day snack after exploring we decided to stop in. I was really craving a charcuterie board. We ordered the meat and cheese board and the bread and olives. I wish our waiter would have told us how much bread we would get. It was actually insane. Two full loaves almost! The food was really good but we specially told him what we wanted and felt he definitely should have pointed out all the bread since it was just two of us at 3pm. The charcuterie was really underwhelming with only one meat and two cheeses. The dinners looked really yummy here. Next time we will come for dinner and avoid apps.

I wanted to grab dinner before a show at city winery and was craving pasta! The garlic bread is so awesome - fluffy and crunchy with great marinara for dipping. I would eat so much of the marinara if I could. The carbonara was recommended which was good, but after having the garlic bread, I wish I ordered something with the same red sauce. So tasty! Friend got the Caesar salad with added prosciutto on top. The Cin Cin-up was super tasty as well and refreshing on the warm spring evening!

Sometimes you go to a place that just engraves itself into your mind. This is Bellina Alimentari for me.Found at the Ponce City Market, at first glance... well, I probably wouldn't have stepped in there. I mean, I'm in a foodie heaven - why would I want to try an Italian restaurant when I'm surrounded by more exotic foods, plenty of bars, and shopping galore? At least that was my thought, but you know I was with friends and one of them insisted on eating at this lovely restaurant. Boy am I glad she convinced me!Josh was our server and he was just a delight. Whatever they're teaching that man in terms of attention and service, they have to replicate with the rest of the staff. He was so peppy and willing to help us choose our plates and drinks. If I were to go back to Atlanta, I'd definitely ask for him when returning to this restaurant.Anyway, in terms of food - we started off with their complimentary bread, of which we wound up having two orders because we were THAT hungry. Three out of four of us partook in drinks. I believe I had a Prosecco. Nothing out of the ordinary with this, but when we talk about ACTUAL food, well... we were next to the area where they make the noodles. It was an extraordinary sight to see those noodles pulled for the very first time.Obviously, we all ordered noodle dishes. How could we not given that it's an Italian restaurant and they make them on site? We ordered the polpo, lasagne, carbonara, and GA shrimp dishes. My dish was this last one, and holy moly, this is a dish I keep salivating over nearly two months later. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the noodles were as well, and the combination of flavors was to die for. More surprising still is that the plate looked small, but as I began to eat it, more shrimp randomly appeared and it was hearty and felt like an embrace from a loved one.Shockingly some of us had space for dessert. One friend ordered a tiramisu. I meanwhile debated between a panna cotta and a cannoli. They were out of the first one, so the choice was clear: cannoli. Let me tell you that this cannoli was probably the best cannoli I've ever had and I've been to New York, Boston, and Italy. This cannoli to me may as well be my future spouse because that's the love I had for it. Heck, if we didn't have a 4-5 hour drive back home, I'd have bought a second one home, but alas... I didn't because it'd have melted. All in all, when can I go back to Atlanta and dine at Bellina Alimentari again? I haven't the foggiest clue. What I do know is I loved this place so much that I keep recommending it to people. One of my coworkers went, in fact, and she's raving about them, too. Dying to return! Seriously they've wowed me!

Love the atmosphere presentation of the dishes and friendliness of the staff, but the taste was rather off. Came in with the family and the fresh pasta really had me excited and I went with the squid ink pasta and it was just okay. The pasta did not have as much flavor as I had hoped and it was a little over cooked. My wife went with the Georgia shrimp and the green garlic pasta was decent but the sauce and shrimp had a metallic lemon juice flavor that was off. Ceaser salad and the kids spaghetti were good but not sure if we got this spot on an off day or what but really felt like it was a miss.

Seriously amazing pasta and atmosphere.the star is the menu, really creative menu choices. I got the Polpo - squid in pasta with octopus in a spicy tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the glass we were given had a chip in it, but staff was quick to replace it and gave us another Diet Coke on the house. When we went, it was extremely busy, but we were still able to get a table and were served promptly. The tomatoes and the ravioli were a little bit old, but not bad. The Georgia shrimp was simply amazing. seriously a great dish for somebody wanting an Alfredo.

We walked in and from there we could tell that customer service would be very good. We sat at the bar area and the young woman (sorry didn't get her name) has red hair was absolutely wonderful. She helped us make a decision when it came to what to order. She made a great espresso as well. The ragu tasted freshly made and the bread was so delicious I wish I could take some in my suitcase. The restaurant was very nice as well. The ambiance was chill.

Visiting from out of town. Bartender never greeted us. Served us waters but never welcomed us. Then stood in front of us waiting for us to say something to her first. Took our drinks and app order. Never received our apps after 20 minutes for a charcuterie board. Finally decided to ask about them, Then she apologized cause she didnt put them in. We got our ticket and left. Menu looked great and really were excited about the place but service was sub par and with the amount of staff behind the bar you would think someone would greet you.
