Bella Luna was okay. The service was lovely, but I found the Caesar Salad not bad. The pancetta and peas fettuccine Alfredo did not have enough pancetta and it was not rendered. The star of the show was dessert. I loved the warm and delicious Italian Bread pudding a La mode. For your birthday, they give you a generous slice of tiramisu!!!

Family owned business with great ambiance and fast service. We stopped by for dinner early Saturday night. Managed to get a table for 2 inside to avoid the cold. Outdoor seating do have heat lamps. But inside is better. Our server was quick to suggest some items off the menu, which is always nice. I love the way the other is walking the dinning room greeting the regulars. The menu is comprised mainly of Sicilian dishes because of the family heritage. I'll be honest it's not all authentic. There's lots of American Italian here. But that's okay. If you've never been to any part of Italy you would never know the difference because it's all tasty. The owner was gracious enough to stop by our table. We informed her of the 2 week vacation we just spent in Italy. She related and offered us tiramisu which was amazing. A little on the chocolate side rather than coffee but that's alright too. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

Disappointed in an understatement. Ordered chicken picatta and pasta, caprese salad and spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. Got cold chicken picatta tenderloins (2 tiny pieces) with a small container of pasta marinara...spaghetti and meatballs that were dry and rather flavorless and cheesy bread, mozzarella on top of French bread. Caprese salad was dry...Just tomato's, buffalo mozzarella and basil that had rotten brown marks all over it. No olive oil or balsamic glaze. So odd. Husband called and stated concerns that we didn't get the correct order. Rude older man on phone said that's how they do it there in reference to picatta...okay well the entire world including Italy (I'm Italian and Ive been there) does chicken pasta picatta with a lemon/white wine/butter sauce. This guy went around and around on this is how picatta is done. No apologies, no resolution offered. I put that trash in the bag it came in and drove it right back over to them. Greeted by the same smart mouthed dbag on the phone, I said "I'd like the chicken picatta I ordered" and then proceeded to show the fool every google recipe that came up showing how to make chicken picatta pasta INCLUDING his own stinking reviews online complete with pictures showing how it's normally served! He still argued with me and told me next time I need to order it the way I like it which is "chicken frencaise" no sir, I won't be back to order it again and you're once again incorrect. $22.95 for 2 tasteless tenderloins in lemon and capers with a small spoon size of pasta marinara...no. Do better. Won't be back. Place was great 5 years ago, crappier every-time we go back and to go/pick up experience was atrocious.

We first found this restaurant while staying in a hotel nearby. We enjoyed it very much! We have visited several times. Inside's atmosphere, made me feel right at home. Very "tuscany" looking and playing the classic songs my grandfather use to sing to me! The first time having their homemade tortellini & shrimp in a lemon butter sauce. It was really good! Pasta was nice & light. Shrimp was good as well! My husband's fettuccine Alfredo was very good! We had the chance to meet the owner, who is very sweet & from Long Island, NY! It made sense why the food was so good! We took friends here on a different occasion. One had chicken parmigiana & the other Fra Diablo (shrimp & crab over spaghetti). We also tried the fried calamari. It was ok, I have had better. I tried the chicken parmigiana & my husband had the veal parmigiana and for both of us, it was just ok. I was not too impressed with the sauce & sprinkling shredded mozzarella on top, isn't how I am use to making it or having it in other Italian restaurants. The cannoli was ok. My husband, who loves to switch things up (LOL) has the fettuccine Alfredo each time & it was really good. Twice he had their shrimp cocktail & he enjoyed it. The baked clams I had were just ok. Very tiny & where is the sauce/Juice with it? I personally would not order that again. They had a special one time that included scallops & shrimp over risotto & it was very good. The last time we were in, I believe the kitchen was a bit off. My husband's fettuccine alfredo was more on the liquid side & didn't have the flavor it normally has. All in all, definitely check this place out! We don't live far from there, but we will be back!

My husband and I dine all over the US and Canada and both agree that the food and service at Bella Luna Italian Restaurant in Goodyear, Arizona is some of the best we have ever eaten! We spoke to the owner and Executive Chef who told us this family owned business has been around for 26 years and there is no question why they have been so successful. We enjoyed the Lentil soup, Caesar salad, Chicken Marsala, (my personal favorite), Chicken Genovese, both served with Angel Hair pasta and the house marinara that was completely delicious. To end our delicious Italian tour we shared the Italian Bread Pudding with vanilla bean gelato. Don't miss this lovely, upscale Italian gem, you won't be disappointed!
