Beer and Wine Source

The best Michelada in town! The Ceviche is really really good! Jose, the owner makes it fresh on the spot with fish and shrimp! Price is also very affordable. Dog friendly bar with small-town feel. Oh, and the owner rescues dogs too! Support this under-rated place, its worth your money!

Friday night in White Center and the hubby and I just left one bar and was ready for one more. We walked by a shop that had cumbia blasting and a sign that read "Micheladas $5". Apparently my husband had never had one so I insisted that we go in. Inadvertently we crashed a birthday party because there were birthday balloons, a birthday cake, a DJ, and everyone seemed to know each other. Oops. The shop was still open for business though so we saddled up to the five seater bar and ordered a Michelada and a beer. The Michelada wasn't bad and there were four beers on tap in addition to bottles, cans, and wine available for purchase. The beers ranged from your low level Bud Lights and Lima A Ritas to local and national craft beer. Color me impressed! A variety of chips and candy were available for purchase. I believe during the day you can get sandwiches. As the night went on karaoke started and I sang channeling my inner Selena. I asked the bartender/owner (who was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming) if there was karaoke every Friday and he confirmed there was. Once we decided to depart we were offered some cake and even took a picture with the birthday man.I am so happy Beer and Wine Source is around. Sure, it is White Center after all so you can have your fill of malt beverages all you want but I am glad the option to buy bottled craft beer in a full fledged beer shop the area is a possibility. I must go back to try the sandwiches and get another Michelada especially since they offer mango Micheladas.

Jose and Emma are really trying to get this little local beer, wine, and snacks shop going. Jose is really knowledgeable about beer and is working towards having a bar in the shop too. He has some local (Washington) beer and cider selections I've never seen anywhere else!! Go check this place out and support a local business!

Love this place! It has great selection of beers, lots of local, interesting ones. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Check it out for sure :)

Wow, this place is an amazing value with the American dream at work. Completely under marketed. If you want an amazing sandwich and good beer they will build you a sandwich with great care and pride and not minimized like the deli on 35th and Barton. These guys really care and they are willing to spend the money for good product to sell to there customer. Man I'm a happy customer and looking fwd to summer for picnics catered by the beer and wine source on 16th ave.Five stars isn't enough

It would be easy to pass by the unassuming store front of Beer and Wine Source - don't! They have a great selection of wine and beer and some tasty food. In fact, this review is taking me forever to write because I'm tearing UP some ceviche that I just got there. Nom, nom, nom. Generous portion, fresh, delicious. And washing it down with a Mad Housewife chardonnay that I picked up from the cooler while Edgar chopped up my fish and bits. The family that owns it works there and are super friendly and dog lovers - bonus! My dog actually pulls toward the door when we walk by. It's now a regular stop for us because she just looks at me with those, "WTF?!" eyes if we just pass it by.Hey White Center! Let's support some true small business owners in the neighborhood as opposed to the invasion of big dollars that's happening - and you KNOW the businesses I'm talking about. Awesome products and tremendous service. You won't be disappointed.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Jose, his son and their lovely little beer deli nook still have me smiling a day later.BEST MICHELADA I've ever had and first craft beer michelada I've ever had. Leave it to Seattle... But I ain't complainin!!This place warmed my heart. There is nothing pretentious about it, not a moment was spent unhappy or unserved. Jose split our michelada and beers into 2 glasses for us without us asking (we wanted to try multiple;). After chatting for a while he warmed up a tamale to have us tell him if we thought the recipe was too spicy. For the record, it's the perfect amount of spice. Jose's wife has it dialed in!My only complaint is that this place is too far from my house! I'll be back without a doubt. White Center and Jose, you've won me over.

We just stopped in here on a tip from a friend, awesome spot! They're brand new to the neighborhood and have a great selection of craft beer from all over- as well as rotating taps from different breweries. The staff is enthusiastic and excited to help you find exactly what you're looking for. I'm impressed!

Love this place! I've been here several times and the service is fantastic. The owner is such a great guy and extremely welcoming. They've got a great selection of six packs and beers on tap. Plus the tap beers are hella cheap. They're also dog friendly and our pup loves to drag me inside because he knows they have dog treats!
