Hot wings with mild sauce is a winner. The Italian beef is tender and spicy. Orders were processed in a timely manner.

The prices are not as displayed on the menu and they're always adding additional dollar for everything. The staff get aggravated when you come in the evening to place an order even though they advertise staying open late hours. I only have been here a few times when nearby restaurants are closed and first time was when a friend recommended it. She gets the Italian Beef only nothing else from here. The food is average not sure who gave them their award.

I have been up here twice and while the beef isn't bad for the headache involved I can get better elsewhere. As mentioned in another review the menu prices are off which sucks but happens. What ruined returning is I was told on my last trip they don't take Chime debit cards. This hasn't been an issue anywhere else.

It says it was voted the best Italian beef in Chicago, but I would have to disagree. Although the bread help up the juices, the beef itself lacked a little flavor and was bit chewy. It definitely wasn't the worst, but wouldn't claim voted best in the city.

At least once a week I eat their fried chicken wings. Hands down the best chicken I ever tasted. You know it's legit when my house cat starts to sniff the air and begins to beg for my scraps. Also get salt, black pepper and lemon pepper on them.

It's not a giant chain, they stay open in some tougher spots of the west side, and they're clean. I've come here a few times now and they're quick and friendly. The Philly is pretty good.

My father worked at Johnnie's Beef as a teenager nearly 40 years ago, and I grew up eating there regularly. As is the case I have long held a bias against all other italian beef places. That being said, Beefee is as good or better than Johnnie's. I had a spicy juicy beef sandwich and it was delicious with just the right level of heat with great meat on fresh bread. If it is at all convenient to get to, I highly recommend you make the trip.
