Beatrix - Streeterville

This is always my favorite stop over to dine when I'm in Streeterville. The food is amazing . Today we had the ham provolone on a crossaint along with a delicious side salad! The service is always great. Friending and correct . It's a nice place to dine . It could be casual or a bit sophisticated if you'd like . I also checkin in the bakery section because I love to get the angel food muffins or cupcakes The coffee and tea is great also

This place has a few (bea)TRIXs up it's sleeve. Located in Streeterville near the Northwestern hospital, with both indoor and outdoor seating this place has great ambience and decor. We opted to sit outside and were very grateful for large umbrellas. This place serves all day brunch, dinner, and late night so you won't have trouble finding time or availability.We came here for brunch and they have expanded the menu with a ton of interesting options. I went with the cold brew overnight oats which had a ton of flavor from the cold brew and vanilla cream. I wish they gave me more caramelized banana (it was only half) as it was the perfect sweetness to balance out the coffee. I also had a iced latte which was equally good. The servers were awesome and very attentive. My one huge knock on this place is that we went at 8:30am when they opened and you could tell the bathrooms had not been cleaned overnight. This place becomes a bar and it looked like a bar bathroom (toilet paper on the floor, no soap in the dispenser, overflowing trash can). I would maybe come back for the food, but I was really turned off by the bathrooms.Overall, it's not a bad option if you're in the area but considering this is Chicago and there are great options available I don't think I'd go back.

I enjoyed lunch here recently and had a great experience. Of note, Beatrix has a cafe style area with bakery items, coffee, etc, and separate menus for meals. The restaurant was buzzing for lunch when I got there but we experienced attentive service and kind check-ins. Amongst the 4 of us that went, we ordered one starter, a main course each, and coffees at the end of our meal. I tried the hot honey brussel sprouts as the appetizer - these were a great way to start of the meal! For my main course, I ordered the wild mushroom teriyaki bowel and I can't recommend this enough! Especially if you are vegetarian, this is a hearty meal that is very well seasoned and the balance of the teriyaki sauce, rice, varied mushrooms, cashews, etc is incredible! I will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!

I don't know how I have never made a review of Beatrix. Delicious, so many healthy options, but also an entire bakery to pig out on. Always packed so make sure to make a reservation if you have a group for lunch.

Super friendly bar service, easy to slide in for lunch even when it's crowded with people waiting for tables. Food was delicious. I had the enchiladas and my husband had the kale salad. Both were outstanding!

I have had nothing but great experiences with various Beatrix locations, and this one was no exception!Beatrix Streeterville catered a group event recently, and all of the options looked delicious! The food arrived piping hot, and included breakfast burritos alongside a traditional fare of french toast, brown sugar maple bacon, and spicy yukon potatoes. The quality proved to be far from standard, however! I was so impressed by how fresh and flavorful all of the ingredients were, with great execution on preparation.The french toast had a crunchy exterior reminiscent of creme brulee with a perfectly hot and fluffy interior, and it was so delicious that it didn't need syrup! The bacon was exceptionally crispy with a perfect balance of sweet and salty thanks to the caramelized brown sugar coating. I typically prefer crispy-style potatoes, but these were perfectly spiced and had an exceptionally full-bodied, fresh flavor that left a super satisfying taste in the mouth. I saved a roasted pepper & feta breakfast burrito for later- it heated up well and was outstanding! The eggs were light and fluffy with a perfect crunch from the peppers and creaminess from the feta, all surrounded by a homemade flour tortilla. Yum! I would recommend Beatrix to anyone, and am already looking forward to trying more of their menu!

First time visiting this location! Long wait time for brunch but great food! I enjoyed the portion and quality of food.

We really enjoyed this cafe. We ordered a cappuccino and it was delicious. They have a small coffee bar and pastries at the front and a full restaurant attached. We ordered the lemon pancakes and egg breakfast. The pancakes were soufflé style and were so good with a lemon syrup. So good. Eggs, hash browns and honey bacon were also delicious. Our server was very welcoming and made some great suggestions. We really enjoyed our meal and the patio. Enjoy!

I swear all the Beatrix locations are the same - mid food with spacy service. Some ingredients weren't listed in the menu (namely a VERY garlicky condiment) and my sandwich wasn't warm at all. Our server had to be asked several times for simple things.If you're at Northwestern, the food here is better than hospital - but not by much. Pass.

The food here is great. It's clearly a popular spot, and I can see why. The breakfast burrito was meatless, which I didn't expect, but the addition of quinoa with the eggs was delicious and texturally supreme. The shakshuka had great flavor, but the kale the tomato and egg concoction was over wasn't cooked and provided less of a textural slight. The service was not at all a dealbreaker, and we got a little bit of a chuckle out of it, but the hostess got into a little spat with two older women while we were waiting and, once seated, our server could not have possibly seemed more annoyed to be working. He may have used ten actual words to speak, but the food came out (most of it - our fruit never showed up), and we enjoyed our experience.Would we go back? Sure. Will I move mountains to do it? Probably not.
