Beatnik On The River

We decided to choose this place while we were on a boat ride to tour the city. This restaurant has a nice view over the river. While we were passing by the restaurant on the boat, we booked the reservation right away and glad there were still seats available. Service was pretty quick and easy. Servers were nice and able to help us figure out what to eat. Foods were delicious. I like the pork rib the most. It wasn't too hard but still juicy. Overall nice experience with great views

Beatnik is one of my go to spots to impress people from out of town! The only problem is that you're not guaranteed to get outdoor river seating and there's no way to request to reserve that. However, there is limited standing room down there if you want. Definitely book at least two weeks in advance if you want a reservation! They have tons of veggie options! They make veggies fun! For two people, we ordered 3 dishes and we were more than full. The beet dip was really really good! It's very creamy and while it tastes like beets, it's not as earthy as they are on their own. The halloumi sandwich was interesting. I don't know if I'd get it again because it's not a good sharing dish but it was good!

SKIPPPP!!! Beautiful interior but was hoping to get seated outdoors. Service and food were ok. Price was unreasonably high - try something else

Perfectly located and beautifully decorated restaurant. We were seated right by the river and it was beautiful!Everything on the menu looked good, my Kale Fattoush was so fresh and light. I'd recommend adding salmon to it- crispy on the outside but still tender.If you're in a large group and seated along the river, you likely wont be able to push your tables together. They also don't do any birthday desserts, which was disappointing.

One of the most beautifully restaurants I've been too. Food was ok and service was terrible. We came here for brunch, ordered appetizer sampler. Fries and shakshuka. We asked our server to make sure that eggs aren't hard cooked and yolk to still be runny. Of course when they brought our shakshuka eggs were hard cooked and yolk was hard and they tried to cover it with tomato and veggie stew that they used for the base. We sent it back and they bring back shakshuka with eggs barely cooked this time and egg whites are still translucent. I'm not sure if we scared our server away by sending the food back but she never came up to us and asked if we needed anything. Our water never got refilled. We saw her going to other tables several times but she never came to check on us.

I was disappointed with the service and my experience at Beatnik. My friend and I made a reservation a month in advance and we were the first ones inside the restaurant for brunch. We were excited to sit outside on the river until we were seated directly in the sun. When we asked to move the waitress responded that the open tables were for other customers and told us to ask the other staff to close the window (wouldn't have made a difference). We understood and ordered our food. We were in and out in under an hour and as we were leaving we noticed several open tables that we could have been moved to. The food took a while to come out, we ordered waffles and a burrito and it was nothing special. In the middle of service, we got a new waiter who did not know our order. Overall, the restaurant is very cute and the decor is great but not my favorite restaurant on the river.

4 stars for ambiance and the zaatar pita. 3 stars for not disclosing that changing the pita would be 3 extra dollars, nor letting us know the mango margarita was going to be super spicy, and not providing a spoon for the Shakshuka when I asked until I was done. The Shakshuka was pretty good, but would've been bland without the changed pita type and the fried chicken with peas was odd but not bad either.I would have enjoyed my time less if we ended up in an indoors seat, though. It was darker and too enclosed feeling

Beatnik is a super cute spot where you can get gorgeous views and amazing interior vibes. This place was absolutely the cutest spot to get brunch for my Bach! Once we got here we were seated and service was great. As a table we got to order alot of yummy stuff to try on the brunch menu. We tried:* breakfast burrito - this was okay and in my opinion had a little bit too much egg! I wish there was more hashbrowns in it but this was yum* fried chicken and gravy - the chicken here was a little tough but it went well with the crispy exterior and the gravy, which was juicy* pita with yogurt sauce, salad & dip - this was refreshing and a fun appetizer for the table. The pita was fresh and the dips were very refreshing which I loved* waffles - this came with fruits and a chocolates sauce I believe, my friends said this was okay*fries with aioli sauce - I will say I'm a French fry girl, and you can't usually go wrong with them - this was also delicious!*shakshuka - this was really yummy and well flavored and came with bread also. It was fun to scoop up and eat*cinnamon roll - so yummy and delicious the spread on top hit the spot and this was a fun bite to shareOverall, great experience and fun to try so many fun items on the menu!

This is another great place. It is perfect for lunch.I decided to stop by this restaurant right when they open at 11 o'clock. I highly recommend getting reservation. Even though I was lucky to grab a table, I had to give it up around noon for people who made reservations. The space is very eclectic. It feels like it has a very, very rich history. Each room has its own charm and you'll definitely get a great view of the river in the dining area. I ordered the chicken musakhan and let me tell you, it was s superb. The chicken has a bit of a curry flavor. It is grilled, crispy on top and not overcooked inside. The texture was perfect! The combination of the garlic sauce, herbaceous drizzle, and the glazed sweet onion with the chicken was excellent. You can eat it with the pita that comes with a dish. It was so good that halfway through the dish, I ordered another one. It is definitely one of my favorite grilled chicken entrées I've ever had. Beatnik on the river. Definitely try it out. I highly recommend this place!

The food was well seasoned, quick service, and the ambiance was really nice. While we did not sit on the river, we were extremely lucky to have Virgil as our server. He was kind, made sure the food was correct (I have a food allergy), and consistently checked on us. We had the double cheeseburgers (one well done and one medium well) and a chicken dish (during dinner). We ate too quickly for photos but the biggest takeaway should be to get the double cheeseburger and ask for Virgil.
