As a vegetarian, beatnic is a fun option to get fun food alternatives in Boston. To be completely honest, I am not a fan of their burgers. The bean taste in the patties is just not for me. However, their salad bowls, pasta options and fries are great.Have you ever wished you could have loaded fries as a vegetarian? Well, you can here... and they are AMAZING

The place rightly has around 3.5 stars on Yelp! The vibe is casual yet chic, great!I went for quick burger, the person there was making faces at me because i was taking time to think what i want. After a long day all i want is to be not greeted be an eye roll!I decided to get the guac burger and pesto pasta. The guac burger had veggies, a bean patty, chipotle aioli and i will not lie i would have given this 4/5.But the pesto pasta is horrible which brings that score down to an overall 3/5. I have no idea what that brown topping is, but it tastes like browned burnt leftover from frying something. Not coming back as there are other amazing vegan places nearby!

A pleasant vegan restaurant right next to Boston Commons and the Arlington T stop. The chili soup with mushrooms, beans and tofu crema was especially good.

I usually don't go to restaurants that aren't at least 4 stars but I gave this one a chance because it was so close to my hotel. Cute and clean spot offering counter service. I got a burger and the loaded fries. The flavors were on point. The gluten free bun was one of the best I've had, not too dense like most. The loaded fries were a combo of potato and sweet potato and the Mexican inspired toppings were so tasty. My only complaints, portions were kind of small, especially the burger. And I definitely don't like they serve everything in non-sustainable take out containers. I expect vegan restaurants to be environmentally conscious so I didn't like the non-compostable boxes and plastic cutlery wrapped in more plastic. Other than that, it was great. 5 stars for flavor

First time at Beatnic, I ordered the Guac burger from very friendly staff, and wow this is a messy mountain of vegan heaven. Every component perfect in its own way, the warm freshly toasted bun, the seasoned guacamole, cold tomato slices, red onion, lettuce, bean burger. I came away wishing I had an extra stomach to try their other burgers!

Things are going down hill. I was pretty disappointed in how they have make-your-own bowl options which are all the rage now. The number of options you get are not many & whatever you choose is like miniscule. I can't believe the amount of money spent & yet hardly any toppings are added, I think they even missed one. I had asked for the dressing to be mixed in & it wasn't. How hard is it to do what customers ask?The cookie options seemed really good but they were hard & dry, also not worth it. So I don't think it's worth going to anymore as they have just not made things enjoyable. Plenty of other places in the area that are better.

I wanted to try everything! It was so good. Great for vegans and I like to think non vegans would enjoy it too. Great if you are trying to eat Whole Foods.

I had tried this chain back before it was rebranded, and I found it to be just as good as before. I had the Chicky Parm sandwich with a side of mixed regular and sweet potato fries, which were served with some sort of aioli. It was a good meal, flavorful and filling. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars was the price. It felt expensive for what you get, even in comparison to other vegan fast food shops. The design of the place was pretty wild, especially the bathroom, but I suppose that is what it was going for.

Felt like I had seen countless people picking up to go orders here that I finally needed to know what everyone knew that I didn't! Upon entering the place, the interior design was already very nice, modern, and sleek. I loved the look and presentation of everything and the guy at the register gave some helpful recommendations of what to get. I ended up with a guac burger, which was really good, but definitely a lot smaller than I expected for the price point and left me hungrier than before. Maybe I'll have to try something different next time, but you definitely need to order multiple things here to be full!

This is the first place we tried upon arriving to Boston and it was great! Kale caesar: delicious! The dressing is kind of light and not garlicky, but tasty. Can be made GF by leaving off the maple croutons. I subbed the crispy chickpeas. They are quite crispy (hard) and have a faint curry powder flavor. The kale caesar also comes with a nice amount of avocado and the shiitake mushroom jerky/bacon/crumble really adds a savory quality. I will be trying to figure out how to make those mushrooms.BCB burger: Omnivore with me had this. They loved it and said "I could eat vegan food all the time if it tasted like this". I ate their pickles since they don't like them and they were delicious.Crispy Chikn: fantastic! I was worried this wouldn't be a good value with 4 pieces for about $8, but these are well seasoned, great texture, filling and delicious! GF as well. Roasted Brussels: were cooked well. I didn't care for the sweet sauce on them. It tasted very sweet and kind of fake (the omnivore didn't agree). Original fries: Nothing special. not GF, sadlySweet potato fries: mushy like every sweet potato fry I've ever had, but ok.This place needs a vegan ranch to go with the fries and chikn. I got a side of the caesar and it hit the spot. The beet ketchup DOES taste of beets, but if you like beets, it's not overwhelming. All of that was $50 - but I ordered more than I would have if we hadn't been SO travel hungry and wanting to try a little of everything. Prices are very reasonable for vegan food compared to Atlanta!
