If you're going to charge a 20% "service charge" your better damn well be paying your servers $30+ per hour, because I'm not leaving a tip. I'll never set foot into one of this chef's businesses again. The server and hostess mentioned this idiotic service charge no less than FOUR times. It was literally $75 for 2 appetizers and a kids meal. Yes, that's in UNITED STATES DOLLARS. This place used to be better. IDK WTF happened. Greed, i suppose. The food: mediocre The service: average Ambiance: mediocre Go to the sushi place you can see from this restaurant instead. Far better food and value.

Not enough fam to brunch it up at home this year, so we decided to try something new for Easter. Reservations super simple and we sat to a very spacious dining room with customers sort of spread out equidistant as long as possible. Beautiful weather really spilled in thru the windows and we really enjoyed the high ceilings. Our waiter was excellent - very attentive, and acknowledged us when he was busy which definitely helps you know you are not forgotten. We had both Benedicts, and I have to say the smoked steelhead version was the winner; warm hot-smoked fillets here, this is not a lox version. Very moist, sitting on griddled homemade English muffins. Potatoes I'd give an average score. Son had the Blueberry Pancakes, with the ricotta on the side. Didn't much care for the ricotta texture, but destroyed the pancakes with a side of bacon. These warm little fresh sugar donuts piped full of homemade hazelnut crème were NUTS! So good. Couple of rounds of Blackberry Fizz for them, and I went with bottomless mimosas - grapefruit, pineapple, orange and cranberry (sadly no pear) let you change it up each time and I just asked the waiter never to let me see bottom. ;) He was very attentive throughout the brunch.I didn't have it this time, but definitely treat yourself to the poutine, here. Without a doubt the best I've had locally. Word has it the scratch veal gravy takes 3 days, and I swear to god I would brush my teeth with it each day if I could. Word of portion warning - three of us hit the small and it was a LOT! Highly recommend.

My first experience at Beardsley Public House last night for dinner! Great open space for bar side our server was phenomenal and his mustache was amazing!! We started off ordering a couple drinks lemon drop and Old Fashioned and a couple appies. Szechuan chicken wings - these are to die for! The sauce was so flavorful and delicious! We would have just stuck with ordering a couple side of wings!! These are a must try!! Crispy chicken skewers - We personally were not impressed just chicken on a stick with what seem to be like corn flake breading. Not our fav but maybe yours! We added hot sauce which helped them out a little!! Our main dishes we ordered Rigatoni Bolognese - I thought it was pretty decent and flavorful! Worth a try! My BF originally ordered the Lemon Caper Chicken which came out raw/pink in the middle and definitely not cooked through. We sent it back and had absolutely no issues doing so. From there he chose the Beef stroganoff he stated it needed to be doctor up a bit. Overall we had a great experience last night! My BF had been there a couple others times for drinks and appies.

I'm going to start this off by saying how much I don't like giving three stars, I feel like it's not very helpful to readers, but if there was ever a three star-worthy restaurant, it would be Beardsley Public House. We came in for dinner the other night, just my husband and I, and the server was very prompt....at first. Came back a couple of times within the first three minutes and we hadn't had a chance to look at the menu. But then, they didn't come back for a long while. The menu itself is very broad, lots of great selections. I opted for the Grilled Cheese and Prosciutto and my husband had the Beef Stroganoff. My sandwich looked fantastic but, upon picking it up, it was actually a soggy mess. The Beef Stroganoff was basic. Our dessert, crème brûlée, was barely caramelized. We couldn't understand the prices of either our dinners, nor anything on the menu for that matter - my sandwich was $18 and the stroganoff was $29. The prices themselves wouldn't be a deal breaker, but then they add a 20% service charge as default, all of which goes to the restaurant itself, with the explanation of "providing industry leading compensation", "training for a successful career path", and the resulting "increase(d) labor cost". You would think the high cost would compensate for the need to do that. That said, two drinks and two dinners and one dessert cost us $100. If we were going to spend that on an average meal, we would have gone literally anywhere else. The menu is great (in theory), the food is okay, it's expensive. It's a solid three stars and diners should be aware of the pros and cons before going in.

We had our year get-together here at Beardslee this time. It was a group of 8 people. We had some great time here. Absolutely loved the whole setup of this place. Service was terrific. They have some amazing cocktails and mocktails. Their food is so underrated. Plenty of choices and yummy food! Not sure how 4 hours went just like that there! This place is very large. You will never get that feeling from outside. It's well maintained as well. Big parking lot and a parking garage nearby! We thoroughly enjoyed this place! I am so sure that the folks will pick this place for next year's annual get-together as well! But before that I would definitely go back there just for the food again for sure!

Happy hour snacks were delish. Their Brussel sprouts are THE BOMB (trust me, try these if you don't like Brussels! They may change your mind!). Had new their new spicy wings which came bathed in sauce and I *really* wanted rice to soak it up because it felt like a small tragedy to sent it away when the wings were gone bc it was good; their nachos with delicious steak; and stuffed mushrooms. If you are on a keto kick and are missing a mushrooms and sausage pizza, get these because they reminded me a lot of that. Had the HH lemondrop, which was a little on the sweet side but made with what tasted like fresh squeezed lemons, the brown sugar old fashioned (good but sweet) , and the huckleberry lemonade. Service was not as good as I have had in the past, but was ok.Be aware that inside is loud so people who suffer from hearing loss may struggle to hear their party.

First of all, this was my first time at this establishment the service was amazing. As soon as I walked in, they greeted me with open arms. The drinks were amazing and Ashley was very helpful new products and very knowledgeable about menu which to me is very important especially since I'm from out of state she made me feel so comfortable and made me feel at home. I'll be honest was amazing. Nostalgia in this establishment is impeccable and I would highly ask for anyone who's in the area to come here and spend money.

We came here for Easter Brunch, and probably should have stayed home. We did have a big group so I tried to give grace, however there were some things that were definitely just off. Ambiance: The restaurant itself is very cool. It is spaced out, not too loud, and probably the best thing it has going for it. Service: This is hard because everyone working there was extremely nice, and while I do believe they were trying their best, it fell short. We had multiple people at our table who's orders were just plain wrong. The food took an insane amount of time to get to the table. (We were there an hour and fifteen minutes at least before food came out) Once it came out parts of the meals were missing or not edible. Example: we had multiple people order the classic breakfast, should be easy enough, one plate had missing potatoes, others had toast so burnt they could not eat it. I will say the manager came over and comped a few of the meals that could not be eaten which was nice, but after waiting so long for food, it was a massive disappointment.Food: As mentioned above the food was not great. I am guessing they are just not really great at brunch and are probably better at dinner. In fact I have heard they have great dinner so maybe this is a stick to what you know situation! It was sad though because the menu looked soooo good! Other: As mentioned in other comments they automatically add on a 20% service charge that does not even go to the wait staff!! Are you serious? So you pay for your meal, and then get charged the service charge, then on top of that tip your staff (Which they say is not necessary but how sad is that to staff who are trying really hard and probably don't make much in tips because people skip it due to this charge).Overall while I appreciate the manager trying to make things better, i would probably not go back, you can make better quality food at home for WAY cheaper!

Great casual place for drinks and food! Large selection for drinks. I got the Ahu Tuna Sandwich, and that was a thick sandwich. It tasted delicious, and I got a side of brussel sprouts, which were cooked well with a lot of sauce (maybe could lighten up on that but overall good). The service of the place is good; I do wish they checked in sooner after getting the drinks order so that we could order our food sooner. There's a lot of parking available for this place. There's usually not a long wait for this place, so walking without a reservation is totally okay.Overall, I recommend trying this place if you're around the area!

They add 20% to your bill automatically for service charge yet NONE of it goes to servers. So if you tip your server, you are paying an additional 20%. 40% on top of your bill? No thank you
