Beantown Taqueria

Great tacos, fast service. I usually get take-out.The last time I ordered, I got delivery (via GrubHub). I don't think GrubHub is worth it b/c my tacos were made probably 30 min before they delivered. And then GrubHub didn't tell me that my food had been delivered (to the first floor of my work building) until 10 min after it was delivered.Not much else to say. Beantown Taqueria has great food, and also don't use GrubHub.

Solid amount of food available quickly. I had the torta al pastor medium spicy (15$+tax+tip, but there seems to always be some discount running). It was extremely mild and didn't have much meat; however, the avocado was very nice. Definitely a local kind of place and probably caters to primarily students.

You can sit and eat but not best for large groups. It's like Island seating, but you can sit down and eat. It was super cold in there today, there was a space heater type thing but it still was cold in there. The food is amazing I had a burrito bowl with a shredded beef refried beans and it was super good. I ordered some chips and salsa, which I didn't get and I thought I was charged for but when I asked he didn't hear me and said he didn't charge me for it but was still offering me chips and salsa so that was pretty nice of him. All in all good place to eat, I think their prices have gone up a little bit but it's still not too bad. And if you check in on Yelp you get 25% off

Service was ok, so was the food. Shredded beef was dry and I regret not asking ahead of time if the chilaquiles was in red sauce. It was not. It was in green sauce

Really affordable 2 for 1 tostada Thursday! There are also plenty of hot sauces to choose from and they gave me limes when I requested. All the tostadas are piled high with whatever protein is selected along with beans and vegetables- requesting spicy was indeed spicy! The meats could have used more seasoning and char but they hit the spot.

Really dig this place. Posole, 'nuff said.I've tried most menu items at this point. Nothing has disappointed. Flautas, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, huaraches, tostones.......And they got the steam table going again.And the gal is register is a sweetheart.It's small. Just a front-facing counter seating maybe 5. But Cambridge is takeout land anyway. Get it to go and eat it in the sunshine. You will not regret it.

Overpriced and not tasty at all! I ordered al pastor burrito and it came with more pineapple than meat. My wife ordered a steak burritos and it was 3$ extra for it and it also came with more rice and beans than meat! If you will charge extra for steak at least add a proportional amount!

This place is a regular spot for MIT students - it is extremely close to campus and is open until really late at night. There are special deals for students, tourists, law enforcement, and more. The $2 tacos on Tuesday bring in a long line of people at lunch. I would say 3-5 tacos are good for a meal. I usually get al pastor or carnitas, but the fish is also surprisingly good, though it costs more. The "authentic" menu and the "tex-mex" menu are both full of different items, so there's quite a variety to choose from. There's also a bit of a dessert menu too, but I would only really get the flan. There's no longer much seating room in the inside (only bar seating-like tables facing outside), but the murals and decorations are quite colorful and fun to look at. There is one server who is always friendly and tries to remember our names since we go every week.

I have been to Beantown Taqueria many times over the years. To me Beantown is a solid place for legit Mexican food. It is not a trendy place with fancy drinks or fusion food, but the food is authentic, both authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex.The portion are good, and the price has been affordable. I remember the Saturday mornings that I came here for brunch and spent much of the rest of the day walking around to burn off all the calories.

I paid $20 for a steak burrito because Chipotle we're not a steak for some stupid reason...Way way way too overpriced. The quality wasn't anything special.
