Beach House Tequila + Taqueria

I'd give 5 stars for the piña coladas alone..... we come back for these fairly often. And obviously the view is incredible, great for people watching, and love that it's first come first serve and open seating. The 4 stars is due to the food being really disappointing... everything else really is perfect, but the tacos we got were so bland, no salsa, and we've gotten nachos as well that just could've used so much more toppings. The meat lacks flavor and was a bit dry both times we tried. We will usually come for drinks and move on to another spot to eat. Servers are always nice!

So....... Slow...... Else just came to grab a few quick cocktails but it took forever to put our orders in and then actually get drinks. The ""live" DJ spent the whole time just playing on his phone. Can't beat the view but that's about it

Can't beat the ambiance-- ocean views abound.Service is friendly, prices are not - but you're paying for location.$15 cocktails in plastic cups seems like a cop out, far from the class this place exudes.Happy Hours are rather odd & misleading, and their specials are not worth the special trip.I enjoy it every time I go, but do resent the cheap plastic cups and paper straws (especially in a frozen cocktail).

We went there for a late lunch and we originally tried to reserve a table for 8 people, but they said they can only reserve for 6 people and anything more would be open table. I got there at around 3:30 after taking almost 40 minutes looking for parking. The place was busy, but it wasn't too crazy and I was able to grab a table for 6 and when the party came, we had to grab to more chairs from another table seating. We all ordered tacos. I ordered the fish tacos and I was not impressed. My partner ordered the California burrito and surprising it was one of the best I've had. The place was not too packed, the music was good, location was easy to find.

AMBIANCE Beach House is a relaxed beachfront taqueria, outdoor bar, and music venue in Mission Beach (music by Elderbrook day I was there). SERVICEStaff and security were friendly and kept the crowds moving. For tacos, I received an alert on my mobile when my food was ready. Friends and I have been to multiple concerts here over the years. They have been enjoyable. The last two concerts we went paid good money especially the last one $75+ this past Friday. They started to construct a chain link fence 8-10 feet high with black tarp and recently added a grass shirt to block seeing the black tarp from inside of the venue TOTALLY blocks the ocean and sand view. Do NOT expect to see the ocean while attending the concerts and being anywhere within 80-100 feet of the stage.

Beach House Tequila was alright.I was expecting so much more.The service was ok but nothing to write home about.They claim to have mixed drinks but then say they don't have blenders to make them.So beer was the only choice.I really wanted to have a Pina colada on my birthday on the beach but had to settle for beer.They had tacos cooking, but to be honest, they smelled horrible.They overcrowded this place, and it wasn't really a reggae concert.It was more like a DJ playing rap but not the good stuff.Then, a few wannabe reggae artists, finally The Don came one and partially saved the night.Overall, it's not my kind of venue.

Wow, this place is a total gem! We stopped in just before sunset, and the view of the sun setting over the ocean was absolutely stunning. The bird tacos were out of this world, and the drinks were spot-on. Andrew, the bartender, made me this amazing mango Mexican candy shot that I can't stop raving about. And Jack, the bar back, had our service covered in no time. The vibe here is so cool--great food, great drinks, and great people. Definitely a must-see!

We always stop here when we're in town and we're bummed when we found out it was no longer Wavehouse. The drinks were good but pricey, food was alright and also a bit pricey. Service was slow but we didn't expect much since there didn't seem to be a hostess. We sat at a table the other day and took forever to get a waitress to come help us. Today we sat at the bar because there was open seating that could fit our party of 4 and service was still slow and not so great. The young Hispanic guy took our friends orders but walked away and never came back to take our table even though we were a party of 4. Another male ended up taking our order after we waited almost 10 mins. Vibe was chill, there was a female dj playing music. We saw a huge bug or cockroach of some sort on one of the seats near us. Not sure if we'll return next time we're in town. We've had far better experiences at other places that aren't as spendy either.

I recently attended a concert at the beach house venue, which hosts a fantastic location right next to the beach . However, there was an issue with overcrowding as the venue's space was insufficient. The concert was great . It was frustrating being told several times to move when there wasn't even enough space.This led attendees standing where bottle service was being held . For future events, I recommend that the venue ensures adequate space allocation to prevent such issues and maintain a great atmosphere for all guests .
