This is the closest thing you will get to true Austin Texas bbq which imo is superior to all other bbqs. At worst it's not your flavor profiles you can just add bbq sauce. Can't speak on sides besides okra which was amazing.

I love BBQ, but haven't been to a good place that I would crave, and living in WA. The weather isn't always BBQ friendly. My dad referred me to this restaurant so when I had a to go to Gig Harbor (I live in Tacoma) I was like lets try it and see.... Walking in they have all their Texas jerseys all over the wall, and the smokiness from all the meats smack your face to the point your mouth starts watering! The guys working there are hella cool and gave is a great tip to get the Texas Trinity. You can try 3 different meats, and 4 sides. I had brisket, turkey, they were out of chicken (sad face, but must be bomb), and the beef sausage. The sides were ok. The fried pickles and okra are the best! The brisket is so tender and juicy mmmhhmmm. Long story short when we left we spent like 200$ on brisket and two dinosaur beef ribs!!!!! Texas brisket is the best! I will drive to Gig Harbor any day for the brisket and I want to try the chicken too!! Must Go you won't regret it!!!

Some of the best, perhaps the best brisket and ribs combined in the Tacoma area. High quality meat and preparation. Sides are just OK.

Came here the other day for the first time and was recommended the 1 meat plate. Brisket was moist with a nice peppery bark. Slaw was slightly sweet. Beans had good flavor. This place was everything I'd hope for in a random bbq place but rarely ever find. It's worth the bridge toll if you have the time.

Haven't been to the GH location, but I stop in Edison City Ale House on Fridays for the WORLD'S BEST BRISKET from BBQ2U. The perfect level of smokiness, plus melt-in-your-mouth tender - it doesn't get better than this. The standard sides are available (slaw, beans, potato salad, mac&cheese) and all are good. Will have to try some of the other offerings (pork, sausage, chicken), but I haven't had my fill of brisket yet.

Great Texas BBQ done by someone who knows what that is. Highly recommend the brisket, turkey, mac and cheese and other sides. Family friendly environment, fast services. Gary and his team understand putting customers first and servicing with a smile. The gifts and swag are fun too!

Some of the best BBQ around the Brisket is to die for. And the service is fantastic very friendly atmosphere.

Highly recommend the dine in. The smoky bbq scent hits as soon as you step in the door; and the guys are efficient in getting your order out forthwith. Can't believe I used that word somewhere. It's cafeteria style right now- social distance line, order at the counter, your meats get sliced right in front of you, and you'll get your tray at the same time you pay- the ribs flavor and texture are A+ while I'd give the 'original' sausage a B because I personally didn't like the flavour as much and I was expecting it to not be as dry. Seating at 25% cap right now. Fun Texas bbq atmosphere done right!

Love being able to come here and get some of the best BBQ! The food is great and love that they've added Mac-n-Cheese, it's perfect with brisket. They've got wonderful stuff and every time we introduce a new friend to it they love it! Dylyn, who manages BBQ2U at Edison, is a joy to talk to while he puts everything together. He always asks us how we are doing, remembers us from previous times, and you can tell he cares about the people he interacts with. Edison City Ale house and BBQ2U have made this a staple in our neighborhood by being a wonderful place to be and to catch up with friends.
