The perfect meal to order pickup on the way to the beach less than a 10 min walk away! We ordered 8 pieces each of the honey garlic and hot spicy. Definitely recommend both. Be warned the hot spicy is spicy. It helps if you alternate between the honey garlic and hot spicy. Honey garlic has a nice sweet flavor but not too sweet. I've also tried the spicy galbi which wasn't very spicy compared to the hot spicy. I ordered through their app which made it easy to order, pick up, and earn points!

Korean fried chicken always raises my eyebrows (in the best way possible) so I thought I'd give it a try. The chicken is perfectly breaded! I'm a light-breading kind of guy, and bb.q definitely did not over do it. The sauce I got was the Special Sauce and it was good. It had some sweetness with a little kick. I'll give some of the other flavors a try next time. I'm sure I'll find another gem in the 20 sauces they offer!

Ordered 36 wings and 6 were missing? Plus - the wings that I did get were laughably small. Some of them were even half wings....a chicken wing is supposed to have two bones. Am I crazy? Also - not very much meat and the staff was totally careless when I called in to point this out.Of course, I read the yelp reviews and a lot of people have had the same experience. From what I can tell, the owner offer apologizes and says they "do their best." Their "best" sucks. They are either gaslighting or out of touch with their business.I'd ask for a refund but it's not even worth the energy. Lazy business and lazy management. Just because you respond to bad yelp reviews doesn't make you a responsible owner. Make the drive down broadway to Crisp. I'd say it's about 500% better.Honestly ruined my day as I can only afford to eat out once or twice a month. Order anything else.

The wife and I got carry out from here after work. Starting with the good, the wings were delicious. We ordered Secret spicy wings and Mala hot wings. I had some trouble telling them apart, but they were juicy, properly cooked and well breaded. The wife preferred the secret spicy. She gives the wings 5 stars.The fries we ordered with the wings were average. They needed some salt.The Spicy original chicken sandwich needs some help. It was dry and tasteless. I would recommend ordering some sauce on the side. I may try that next time. Stick with the wings.

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! The chicken wings and the rice cakes were really good! I tried the secret spicy sauce on the wings and it was good! Highly recommend the secret spicy sauce! There is some seating inside but for the most part it looks like a carry out spot.

I placed an order online for small orders of golden and secret spicy wings and it is a tad pricey for what it is... nearly $30 after tax for 16 wings, but I'm going to judge on taste and quality only. The texture and flavor of the naked golden wings proved to be exceptional - crispy skin and breading and flavorful meat was greatly appreciated in its plainest form. The secret spicy wings were a bit on the sweet side, not spicy at all and lacked depth in flavor, but the texture of the chicken skin was still crispy with the sauce.Glad I have a good Korean fried chicken joint in the 'hood so I don't need to make a trip all the way to CM Chicken at Lincolnwood. I'll definitely be back, but will try other different flavors - perhaps spicier ones. I didn't get any Korean pickled radish in my order which automatically is given as complimentary side at other Korean restaurants so that was disappointing. Another reviewer said, I have to ask for it -- so I'll try to remember next time.

Damn good chicken. Got the Gang-Jeong and Spicy Galbi Wings. Just what I needed. Very flavorful. Glad I walked here. A bit expensive but what chicken isn't these days. If you want good wings I'd go here.

Summary: Probably the bb.q chicken location I've tried to date; recommend if you like fried chicken in general. Go for the wings over the boneless, and for sauce, I'd say garlic or cheesling wings. Good: The cook on the wings was spot on. Crispy mainly from the skin but still lightly breaded on the edges. The soy garlic covered just enough and paired well from the natural juices within the meat. Quick, quiet spot for lunch - they have lunch deals including fries and a drink for a decent meal. They also have outlets spread throughout the location if you need to work through lunch!Bad: In comparison to the wings, the boneless fell a little flat. Still overall good, but it was not as juicy nor crispy nor flavorful. Also, the pickled radish was extremely watered down, so it was basically just radish? I think Gang Jeong was okay, but not to the same level as soy garlic or (probably) honey garlic.Ugly: Nothing to note!

For dinner tonight I decided to try this place. 5 minutes from my house which it's perfect. I order the golden chicken wings 8 pieces ($13.00) and Coke ($2). It's a chicken place which the neighborhood needs. The restaurant is cute and small seat less than 20. The cook and server were nice and friendly. This place will be on list of restaurants in my hood for lunch or dinner.

Little bit expensive for what it is.$13.99 for six chicken wings? Got the Secret Spicy and the Gangnam style wings. What they were is more sweet than anything. Which is not my jam. The BF thought they were great, so if you like sweet chicken wings, you may l like these.I really liked the Kimchi Fried Rice (with cheese!). That is what will get me coming back, the flavor for that was very good. Clean interior, adorable, friendly guy taking orders. Welcome to Edgewater Beach!
