This was by far one of the best dining experiences that I've had in a very long time. Our server (Claire) was phenomenal. The food was INSANE and overall service from the host to the server assistants was just outstanding. Officially my favorite place to go for business meetings, family get togethers, dates, or even just a solo drink and a bite to eat. Amazing place for any occasion. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Bazaar Meat is everything fine-dining should be, with a lot of visual and culinary fun mixed in. I've been a huge Bazaar fan since 2012. I love how the restaurants mix great food with the unexpected elements of molecular gastronomy. All used to enhance the meal; not just a gimmicky thing. So, I had high expectations when I came to Bazaar Meat here in Chicago. My experience was top-notch from the moment I stepped out of the elevator to when I left my table. Table for one, of course. I wasn't going to miss out on dining here while on a work trip ;)My server, Paula, was so easy to talk to and we chatted about all the things food. She also introduced me to the newest dishes on the Bazaar menu. I ordered all my old favorites and then some. I recommend the Caviar Cone, Philly Cheesesteak, Cotton Candy Foie Gras, and the Suckling Pig! And for dessert, I highly recommend ordering at least one of everything, which I did (although I'm pretty partial to the alfajores! Allow for at least 2.5 hours for dinner. You'll enjoy every minute of it...from the beautiful decor to the friendly service. Thank you to all the staff (Paula, manager Pedro, brand ambassador Susie) who made this meal the highlight of my 9-day Chicago stay!P.S. Just saw the news that The Bazaar is returning to Los Angeles at the end of the year in the form of Bazaar Meat! I can't wait. Welcome back!!!!

So the staff are exceptionally nice and the space is beautiful but unfortunately the wine and food missed the mark. We ordered a bottle of wine that was really bad and I think they knew it as they kept asking are you sure its ok? The chowder was super thin and watery with mostly potatoes. My husband did love his wagyu and I did really enjoy the cooking process and presentation. The mac & cheese was the best thing I had there but it was served after as they said the first one had to be remade since it didn't meet their standards. In my head that means someone dropped it or forgot to ring it in until later. For such an expensive dinner I was sad that after 3 courses I was still hungry. I would come back for a drink as the atmosphere is great but not worth the money for the food.

We had one of our best dinners in a while , it's outstanding and fabulous what they were able to whip up between their 3 kitchens! The food was outstanding! The service was beyond words. Paula our waitress was extremely sweet and attentive to us, our sommelier, "KV" (Kavitha Paidi) was one of the best soms I have ever seen. Her knowledge was incredible We got special attention from Pedro Arelar, he treated us like royalty. He allowed us to move to the window as soon as a space with a better view became available and then treated us with a special surprise dish! They give you amazing polished dining experience without any pretentiousness

Brunch Experience by Bilt! A special brunch was organized for Bilt members at Bazaar Meats! Though being an experience focused on people who enjoy a variety of meats, the chef did accommodate us and send us a salad which was phenomenal. The ambience of the place is amazing located right above the famous bar mar on the banks of the Chicago river. The parking can be tight as only a few spots are available right outside the building on the street. The espresso martini and old fashioned were both nicely done! The dessert platter was average and could have been better. As a vegetarian I wouldn't go to this place as 99% of the menu as the name suggests consist of meat dishes. The bar mar on the lower floor though is the place to go and enjoy cocktails!

Great presentation and the quality of the food is great as well. Note that upstairs is Bazaar Meat and downstairs is the seafood restaurant. This spot has a great atmosphere and is great for intimate conversation as its not too loud. I tried a bunch of the light bites. My favorite was definitely the Foie Gras Cotton Candy: Savory and sweet, with a bit of crunch on the Foie Gras. Multiple flavors and textures!

Our dining experience at Bazaar Meat Chicago was absolutely outstanding! We started with the most amazing cocktail, the Reverse Carajillo, which featured aquavit and cold brewed coffee served frozen with a tres leche cold foam - a true masterpiece. For appetizers, we indulged in the jamon experience, featuring aged jamon served with crusty tomato bread, beautifully presented on a plate with the jamon arranged like it was part of a woman's dress. The Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were a delightful twist, with cheese stuffed inside mini French puffed baguettes and topped with slices of Kobe beef. And who could forget the cotton candy foie gras appetizers - a unique and delightful treat meant to be savored in one bite. Also don't miss out on the Jose Tacos! They were unlike the tacos you've come to know. The jamon were served on seaweed with caviar and a gold leaf! Nice elegant touch. So tasty! It was so hard to pick a favorite amongst all the appetizers. The highlight of all the appetizers was the beef tartare prepared tableside, a culinary spectacle that was as delicious as it was impressive. And then came the main course - the wagyu ribeyes cooked to a perfect medium rare. Accompanied by sides like garlic mushroom caps, asparagus, buttered mashed potatoes, and piquillo peppers, every bite was a symphony of flavors. Best steaks I've had so far!!!We also got the bite sized desserts that were so cute and scrumptious! The service was top-notch, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Bazaar Meat Chicago truly delivered a culinary delight that we won't soon forget.

I won a contest and besides some sweet concert tickets, they included dinner for 2 at a Chicago restaurant of my choosing. As an advocate and volunteer I could think of no place better than Chef José Andrés Bazaar Meat. I must say it was one of the best experiences of my life. The food was beyond exceptional-but on top of that the service was impeccable, the setting is perfection, every moment and taste was a big WOW! Thank you Gabriel our amazing server -so glad we went 100% with your brilliant selections. And thank you, GM Susi. Your hospitality was truly world class!

We went to celebrate a special occasion and this restaurant did not disappoint! We tried the tasting menu and added a few bites. Everything from the tasting menu was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The whipped potatoes were soft as clouds! Our server was nice and service throughout was attentive. I definitely recommend it for any celebration or date. The downstairs bar, which is separate but by the same chef, is more of a party/social environment. The restaurant upstairs is more quiet.

I can't say enough good things of this restaurant. Everything from the decor, staff and food were great.Apparently this is one of Chicago's most popular bar/restaurants as it was packed on a Thursday evening. The decor was modern but warm with a combination of seating arrangements. The service was high quality as they were very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and accommodating. We ordered the following:1. caviar cone2. Jose's taco3 classic tartare4. Spanish octopus5. mushroom and cream6. patatas bravas7. WR Gibson's Chicago cutFood was all delicious but I would note that they are small portions. Cocktails were equally delicious and well crafted.I would certainly recommend for a work end, special event or a fancy night out.
