Bayside Bar

The food, beer and environment was fantastic!! We had planned this party for graduation and we had never been there , our son said it was good. It was fantastic!! We will be back and tell others too!

The Best hidden spot ever! Small and very intimate. Kelsey the bartender was amazing and gracious. The food was fresh and delightful. They make you feel welcome from the get go. Definitely worth the visit and the return!!!!

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Bayside. The on-site restaurant/bar is Bayside Bar. We decided to stop in for an after dinner night-cap prior to heading back to our room.First off, Bayside needs to embrace the hard seltzers. They are all the rage right now and Becky is on that bandwagon. She would have really enjoyed an Ashland on tap or even a can of White Claw or Truly. She settled for a light beer. Minus one star. Outside of the lack of seltzers we really enjoyed Bayside Bar. There was plenty of seating indoors and the outdoor patio seating was fantastic. We were with another couple and we found a great table with a firepit. It was perfect for a chilly night.The bartender and staff were friendly and engaging. The prices for a hotel bar were not too horrible.If we stay at the Holiday Inn Bayside again, we'd return to the Bayside Bar for sure.

Service is great but the food not so good. We had the beef pie, carne asada, stir fry. All dishes were horrible. Someone said it's a hidden spot..... well it's not. It's the hotel restaurant. The same person that reviewed del taco said this was a hidden gem. Maybe other dishes are good but we didn't like it. I do recommend the breakfast at the cafe. It's was delicious and big portions. Service is great there too.

Had an opportunity to visit Bayside Bar in mid December. I would recommend it on several accounts. The food was delish and the outdoor seating very comfortable - right on the other side of the pool. The service was exceptional. Eric - our server went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed despite the fact that someone had called out sick, leaving him to cover all of the tables. His personableness made us feel at home. A great place for those staying at the Holiday Inn as well as those living in San Diego.Will visit again - thank you Eric and hats off to the chef!

The food is spectacular, the service wasn't so great. I believe the guys name is Eric he was terrible to staff and would ignore tables. If he's a manager he shouldn't be. I believe Ole and Sara the bartender are the people who attended guest and they were spectacular. I hope the next time I stay I get their shifts and not Eric. Other than that food there is off the wall amazing.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn here two weeks in a row and had dinner and drinks at this bar/restaurant. Eric, the bar tender was so pleasant to everyone and provided top notch service! I also have to give kudos to Jacob who was bartending this week. Such a great dining experience!

We love our dinner and portions were perfect. Stayed at hotel next door so only a few steps away.
