Bay City Brewing

Had an enjoyable time at Bay City Brewery's Gaslamp location. There's a couple spots on the outside, some bar spots inside, and a lot on the roof. The inside is maybe slightly dark. The lower level is potentially minimal in appearance. The rooftop is much more inviting but doesn't have great views due to walls / buildings surrounding. The manager and workers were fun and had easy service. BAY CITY IPA - very good, tradition JUCCI GANG - hazy cuts the doubleCOCO ONO - really fun, fruity. Don't know if I could drink a full pour myself. RON MURKUNDY Hazy IPA - smooth not much aftertaste PENINSULA LAGER Vienna Lager - not as dark as a Vienna octoberfestHIGHLY LIKELY Cold IPA 6.0% - one of the best cold ipas I've hadSERPENTINE PINEAPPLE Cider - couldn't drink it. This is an amazing deal as most pizzas are closer to $20 plus a beer!Wing night when wings are half off!How can you go wrong?? The nachos are delish as well as BLT sliders. When the rooftop is open go up there for some great views.

Indulged myself with some beer from Bay City Brewing! Steve and I had their Peninsula Lager which we liked very much! This was a fine Vienna style Lager which is perfect to enjoy during the summer due to it's light bodied nature and the aftertaste of clean and crispness within the flavor profile. Other flavor elements to find with this beer are maltiness and sweetness. The sweet aspect isn't anything too in your face which doesn't make the beer taste too sugary which is a good thing. It's more of a natural sweetness which makes it pleasing to the palette while sitting and unwinding out in the sunshine.

My gf wanted us to check this spot out for the view and the pizza. We grabbed some beers and got a seat at high top. The view is amazing, however all the heaters weren't on so it was a bit. We ordered a pizza and moved inside. This pizza was amazing. We enjoyed every single bite. The toppings were flavorful and so was the sauce. The crust was really good as well, but it got a bit filling. I will be back to see what other awesome pizzas they have.

Bay City Brewing Company is a great spot!! We had our company dinner/event on the rooftop on Wednesday night and it was a blast. Amazing view up there! Tasty drinks and the food was pretty good too - nothing super amazing but definitely not bad. Tried some pizza, meatballs, salad, and bbq pork sliders. The pizza was the only part I was disappointed in, just tasted like a frozen pizza to me. Would honestly prefer a frozen pizza over the one I had sadly. Great service here! The general manager came around many times to check in on us and was very nice, welcoming, and attentive.

Brandon was a doll. The drinks were great and we had practically everything on the menu. If you're in the area, this is a must do!

Bummer you advertise a rooftop but your rooftop is closed on a gorgeous San Diego evening. We went elsewhere.

We stopped by Bay City Brewing during their happy hour. There was plenty of seating both on the first floor and the rooftop. (Bathroom on the rooftop was spotlessly clean!) Service was great and we got our beers really fast. I got the Bay City Blonde. I really enjoyed it and would get this again. I loved the seating on the rooftop and recommend this spot to anyone looking for great beer and views.

Justin!!! The absolute best beer/bartender there is. Had great knowledge of the beer & had amazing energy. I'll definitely be back!
