Bay Breeze Restaurant & Bar

A great find right on the beach - not across the street from the beach like the others. I had the burger and added Swiss cheese and bacon. It was so juicy, even my plate needed a napkin - and the house made mayo made it even better. The fries are potato fries spared of the usual batters. The view is superb. The service was just-right attentive - and quick. The prices are fare especially for the portion size. The one and only issue was the noise - the dining room echos so every conversation and sound is amplified which should be an easy fix for an otherwise great place!

Beautiful view. Service was incredible. New menu is amazing. We all really enjoyed our visit this weekend. Will be back again.Parking could be hard to find in the summer.

My wife and I had the Rockfish plate. It was easily top 2-3, if not #1, seafood dish we've had in the PNW. Very tasty and i recommend it highly for seafood lovers. It was our first experience with Bay Breeze and look forward to going back and trying out some of their other dishes. A very pleasant surprise in the heart of Birch Bay.

This little hidden gem was a nice place to catch a beautiful view while enjoying good food and drink. We randomly walked into this place from our hotel. The sign said they closed at 8pm and we arrived about 7:50pm. They informed us they stop seating at 8pm. We chatted with our lovely waitress Carlin who was giving us the tea of all the cool things to expect from this place in the future. This restaurant was very simple as far as decor and had a very limited menu but with that being said.... The food was excellent and the customer service was great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you Carlin for your kind and gracious service.

If you're looking for a place that offers a nice view, huge portions of food and is by the beach area, Bay Breeze is a solid stop.Came here with a big group and overall, had a nice dining experience here. Things to note: - View: If you want a nice view of the sea, do recommend putting in a reservation and requesting this in advance. Totally worth the extra effort. - Service: Friendly staff! Our server definitely did a great job with accommodating my group as we had a couple of small kids. - Cocktails: Wowzer, these drinks pack a nice kick. Definitely recommend ordering one of the many yummy drinks on the menu. Well crafted and worth the taste.- Food: Overall, generous portion for the dishes and quality was excellent. The menu is quite extensive ranging from typical seafood to some Asian fusion style ones. So definitely take a look at all of the options. For me, had the pleasure to try: - Calamari: Sauce had a nice spicy kick to it surprisingly... pretty good overall - Sriracha Shrimp: Not too spicy but I love the broth! Very hearty and dipping the crispy calamari with this was a pretty good combo- Surf & Turf Salad: This thing was huge!!!! Loaded with super fresh veggies, juicy steak and plump shrimp, I was stuffed by the time I finished this dish. Definitely a shareable dish for those who aren't as hungry. Plus, the sesame sauce = sooo good. - Price: Very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you order.

The Bartender Orian really knows what he's doing and is an unusually class act out here in Birch Bay. You can enjoy sports in the bar on two different TVs and an incredible view out the windows that makes you feel like you're on the water. They had a Monday beer special which was nice. Hard to find any specials in Birch Bay so I appreciate when somebody has one family as last year but the sun is running it this year and I'm excited to see how they do.he and his wife are living locally so maybe things will look up. They are still in their soft open right now, so come out and support them and let's see how it develops!

Siracha Prawns are always a favourite here!!! Love all the food, never been dissatisfied in any of the times i have come here!!!

New menu is great - service was slow but friendly and they were a bit overwhelmed when we came early on a Saturday night. Loved our cocktails and the fish & chips - the fish had a light batter (reminded me of tempura) and the fries were delicious.We ordered the bang bang shrimp and were surprised it was more of a salad than a shrimp dish - it was good and had lots of avocado, my husband loved the round shrimp but I found the batter to be too thick. Definitely will be back to try more of the new menu soon!

New menu, you say? New chef? Ok. Let's get some food!!Spent a sunny weekend in Birch Bay. After a long walk on the beach, we were pretty hungry! Bay Breeze was a welcome sight--a bright blue building right on the beach. Clean, lots of space between diners, and cheerful staff. Sitting in the bar--looking out at the beach--another customer recommended the fish and chips. She said they were SO good that she was back for the 2nd day in a row. Well, we tried them!! OH. MY. GAWD!!! Never have I EVER tasted fish and chips like these!Beautiful presentation--the first thing you see is a lemon. Not JUST a lemon...but, a lemon that is GRILLED to perfection! Hot and filled with juice! The fish was lightly battered on the outside with a steaming, flakey, FAT fillet on the inside. (Haven't we ALL had all batter and no fish in the past??) This was accompanied by some perfectly seasoned fries and "to die for" slaw. Fragrant, fresh, tangy/sweet. PERFECTION!The tartar sauce followed suit and did not disappoint with its fresh and tastebud tantalizing flavors. Ok, Bay Breeze, the Corpse Reviver cocktail was tasty, too....but....it was the fish and chips that stole the show!We thought we must've dreamed that the food was THAT good. Maybe we were delirious from the sun...SOOOOO....we did what other patrons had done. We went back the NEXT day for Round 2!!!My only disappointment was that we had to leave the next day and wouldn't be able to enjoy Round 3!!!A HUGE round of applause, Bay Breeze. Well done....we will be making the 2.5 hour (one way) drive as often as possible this summer for a repeat performance. Until we meet again, please Chef...STAY!!

First thing our reservation was honored and we got in quick with a nice view of the bay. After that it was not good. Server had attitude as she explained the "specials." We ordered made our or order and then a member of our party decided to get an appetizer. We got the appi delivered from another server and then she came by with the same appi and we said it was already delivered, you could tell some drama. When our food got there we had high expectations. My fries were from the bottom of the barrel, burnt and all of the ends. My wife's fish was 90% batter and 10% fish. Since we had a party of 7 we had the mandatory 20% added on. For a WWU graduation dinner we were hoping for a special experience and this wasn't it.
