Everything is delicious here, but the burgers are next level!!! Service is above and beyond. And the frozen margaritas are the best in the area!

I'm bummed. I tried their brisket burrito at the Peach Festival a couple of weeks ago. I had high hopes. Those hopes were quickly dashed when the food appeared. But I digress.Walking in the door the ambiance is awesome. Love the look of the place. The employees are absolutely fantastic. It's a little confusing on your first visit because you walk in and have to go to the back to encounter an employee to explain how it works. Not a big thing, just odd. I like it that they display the menu on the wall. The cashier was incredibly friendly. All was well up to this point. We sat ourselves, which is totally fine. There was music playing and the vibe was pretty good. The food came out very quickly. Here's where it gets bad. I quickly realized I was in a bar that happens to sell some overpriced under delivered bbq. Here's what we had, pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, loaded potato salad, green beans and corn bread. A half rack of baby back ribs usually has 6 bones, not 3 or 4. But that's not the main issue. They were all fat. And very salty. Unfortunately those ribs were the best meat we got. The pulled pork was very dry and Uber sweet. The brisket was dry. Really disappointing because I love their brisket breakfast burrito. Which you should absolutely try if you encounter their food truck around town. The sides were also disappointing. The potato salad was indescribable. It was very finely diced, really crunchy and dry. The Mac n cheese isn't Mac n cheese, it's yellowish Mac and very bland. I couldn't detect any actual cheese in it. The green beans were the best side we had. The corn bread was decent. Their dinner 4 two would be a dinner for one at any real bbq restaurant. It was a 4 bone rack and 4 small pieces of brisket with 2 sides and 2 pieces of corn bread. Anyway it wasn't good. If you are looking for a cool little bar I highly recommend it you'll love it. If you're looking for bbq, don't bother. It's not really a restaurant, it's a bar with absolutely wonderful people working in it.

Went for dinner. The service was great! We sat at the bar and we both had the brisket with coleslaw, cornbread and beans. We also shared the Mac N Cheese. Food was good comfort food. The restaurant is family owned. Comfortable atmosphere. If you want a simple meal at a local restaurant this is a good place to go.

Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Every single person we interacted with was happy and friendly. I almost wish I worked there just for the camaraderie. I had the ribs + potato salad + cornbread. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and OMG delicious. I'm told it can be tough to get the ribs b/c when they're out, they're out. I must be livin' right this week b/c I got some! The potato salad could have been its own meal, it was so hearty and tasty. My husband had the pulled pork + mac&cheese + cornbread. He said the pulled pork was some of the best he's ever had & the "Mac&cheese was spot on, too."Highly recommend this place! The only thing I don't love was that I ate so much I didn't have room for the bourbon pecan pie. Next time for sure!

The yelp reviews didn't lead us astray!Visiting from Oregon - best bbq we have had since we can remember... we tried. The briscuit, ribs and pulled pork cause we couldn't choose- so glad we did! The jalapeño slaw and beans- amazing!

Great find! Love the owners, they were so friendly and welcoming. The food was great, specifically I have to call out the potato salad side. Everyone has their preference but this is roasted potatoes, cheese, bacon, mayo, and Cajun seasoning. I can't wait to make this at home. I missed out on the ribs because they sold out so that's a good thing! The brisket was great as well. The slaw seems to be the biggest hit but it just wasn't my personal favorite. The Mac n cheese was pretty good, the cornbread was tasty but I like it with honey better. They have three BBQ sauces and the root beer one is the best of the three. I did not love any of them. Overall, great place with wonderful local owners to support!

This place is the real deal, right in the middle of Fountain Hills.It just opened earlier this week, so y'all are missing something really good if you don't try this place out!We had brisket, jalapeño slaw, Mac and cheese, and cornbread, and it was wonderful!The brisket is cooked perfectly, the slaw has just a hint of a kick with a nice dressing, and we just loved the cornbread!Check out the menu, and stop by this place for a great meal! This one is too good to let go out of business!

Fully redeemed! So a while back we came here based on our our wonderful experiences before only to be disappointed. It seemed out of character and perhaps we caught them on an off day. Today we came for lunch and all I can say is ...This is the Batchelor BBQ I remember! My son's Ribs were juicy and full of goodness, if a bit over-salted. I had the Kona sliders. Not my usual choice but i was so glad I got them. Massive juicy pork on Hawaiian buns with sweet pickles...oh boy! What I really appreciate is the fact that the pork is not over-salted or swimming in BBQ sauce. I can taste the meat. If we are in the mood for BBQ again I won't hesitate to come back.

I never leave reviews but wanted to take the time to thank this family run business. I ordered takeout for the first time. Never ate here before. The ribs were absolutely amazing, sad I didn't get a full rack, now I know for next time. So delicious, fall off the bone, tender ribs. Also ordered the banana bread pudding which was scrumptious! Will definitely order both again. Even the corn bread was amazing, didn't love the smoked flavor of the mac and cheese but everything else was delicious!
