What happened to my previous. I appreciate this place. The food isn't the best, but it's pretty darn good and the prices are just right. The inside and their staff are along the same lines. You're not going to get the best of anything here and that's ok because great never gets in the way of an amazing bang for the buckLuckily they have plenty of room on the inside but don't expect to come here for a romantic date. I simple date yes. I love their large windows and how they are on the south side of the ave where parking is a slight bit easier to find. Slightly. lol. The most budget-friendly and affordable restaurant I've been to in U District! The Bahn Ami was honestly a solid 3.5/5 stars and at $8 I really did not expect that. I think I'll be back to try other dishes because wow at this price and volume of food, it's pretty reasonable!

Casual, quick, delicious. Came here with a friend around lunchtime the other day and were quickly sat, but the restaurant filled up to the brim and there was a line out the door by the time we left. It's popular, and for good reason!Food: Great portions and I love that they include rice with the noodle dishes. It seems like they have Thai/Vietnamese fusion food, and it's delicious. The Pad See Ew had a good amount of chicken and broccoli, and was balanced out with the fresh white rice. A lot of people in the restaurant were enjoying big bowls of pho, and they have banh mis for less than 10! I definitely want to go back and try some next time.Ambiance: Casual dining, standard Asian restaurant vibes. Cozy!Service: Quick and efficient, absolutely no complaints here.Overall, can't wait to come back. Delicious food and I want to try everything on the menu!

Ended up getting pad kee mao and drunken chicken. The pad kee mao was literally bursting with flavor and lots of chicken. They even gave some rice on the side to eat all the veggies and chicken with. The drunken chicken was a little underwhelming and dry. Still recommend trying this place. Lots of people were getting the pho and it looked like a hearty meal so I'll be back to try that next:)

Love it! Had there Banh Mi sandwich so far and looking forward to trying out more. Bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Meat was cook perfect, caramelized but tender. The sauce just works with it and generous portions. Coming back for more!

Ambiance was ok, the food and service were not. The pho was so incredibly greasy, which I didn't even know was possible. I absolutely love pho and I couldn't even finish half of it. The eggrolls were good though.

I had the chicken Phad See Ew ($13.00) and my friend got the chicken Phad Thai ($13.00), both were relatively tasty but didn't necessarily stand out to other Thai joints. It is a relatively quick walk from the University of Washington campus and a great place to have lunch. I'm very surprised with how cheap the food is for being a sit-down restaurant, so that is definitely a plus. The ambiance and environment of the restaurant were generally inviting and cozy. The service was fine, I enjoyed that they gave us time to keep to ourselves. Overall, if you're in the area and looking to try either some Vietnamese or Thai food for cheap, definitely visit, especially for a broke college student.

Great Vietnamese food and great service. Very solo-dining friendly! Definitely coming back. :)

I just received the worst service in this place. I probably will not go to this restaurant anymore, at least not dining in.They gave my dish to another table by mistake and then took the dish back to the kitchen for a while and then sent the dish to my table.The reason why I am sure they did this is because I heard the waiter asked the other table "Did you touch it?", the other table said "No", and then the waiter took the dish back to the kitchen for a while. I don't think a professional waiter would ask "Did you touch it?" if he didn't plan to reuse the dish.
