Hi chef Claudio how you doing Basil and garlic is Sicilian in nature and one of the most professional hidden gems within Scottsdale it's extremely cozy and they have an outside patio that's to die forYou think old world Sicily and that's what you're going to get and you'll never regret itI've seen them make Quattro formaggi the Quattro Stagioni the b&g and others Nadine and Claudio take extreme pride in their work I've seen it because I've worked under them they're both excellent people. My favorite was always coming in and getting pizza their pasta is to die for look for the cioppino it's seafood feast and it's a beast Miss Nadine is going to have the finest wine Scottsdale can ask for shipped in so that you can get your drink on and feel like you gon live it up. Please tip it takes care of the expenses and blesses both Nadine and Claudio the kicker is if you keep coming they're going to study you and they're going to know your name and your purchasing habits so that when you ask they'll be like the regular! Oh we got this cooking! you gon'love this! they want to please youOh and by the way don't ask Claudio to dance cuz he going to dance it up and dance up a storm and send himself to the hospital cuz he goes all in..LOL

Absolutely great food. Everyone had a different dish and all were incredible. Chicken Piccata, B & G, Linguine and meatballs all were great!As for the help, Jacob was truly the best waiter we had our whole time In Scottsdale. He was so helpful and kind. We will be back!

Awesome calzone! Crispy, perfect amount of cheese and loved the extra toppings I put on. Yep pineapple 1000%The marinara accompanying the calzone was good. Stopped a bit after half way. The small could easily be shared by two, or be consumed by one if you're real hungry. I enjoyed the outside seating and that it had protection from the rain. The staff were very friendly. Glad I tried it and thankful for yelp.

This restaurant is a great hidden gem that won't disappoint you. Ran by a husband and wife powerhouse team you can get some of the most delicious Italian food ever! Their pizzas are great and the pasta dishes are mouth watering. My recommendation would be the prosciutto wrap entree, OMG so good! For new comers, please know they do not serve alcohol but BYOB is allowed. After trying out this restaurant, you will want to return and soon you'll be a regular. The greatest part about this place is that whether you're a regular or a new visitor you will be greeted and treated like family! Enjoy!

This was a door dash delivery. Hubbie's chicken piccata was excellent. He LOVED it. I had the BG pasta special. I loved it. Yes it could have had more shrimp but for that price point it was fair. Perhaps offer an option for more shrimp for more money ? Garlic cheese bread was also excellent as well as the tiramisu. We both LOVED it & cannot wait to go there & try different options. Plus who I spoke to on phone was so accommodating. I did not get his name.

Came here strictly off of other Yelp reviews. This is a small whole in the wall type of establishment. Inside was completely redone since covid due to an unfortunate fire. :( The waiter we had was very friendly. We asked him about the dishes & what he would recommend. He was very helpful & patient with us. I ordered the linguini & clams with white sauce, it was quite tasty, but, in all honesty it was a little on the salty side. But, very flavorful. My husband ordered some chicken pesto pasta dish & he said his was very tasty. We also had some cheese garlic bread as an appetizer. Also good! He did say that the bread for the garlic bread is the same as what they use for their pizzas, all in all, I'd say this is a very good hidden gem, definitely would suggest giving them a try if you ever in the area. Oh & just fyi, they are located in a strip mall type of place.

My wife and I ran across this a little restaurant, and we are staying in Scottsdale for the evening. It's in a small shopping mall and so worth the search. The service was fantastic and the food was so tasty. I ordered the basil pesto, and my wife had linguine and clams. We also started off with the garlic bread. All of it was a 10. We will absolutely go back again.
