Base Pizzeria

You can find many levels of Joy here at Base Pizzeria. The view of the mountain at sunset. The fresh and interesting salads. The fine local offerings of beer on tap. The mouth watering pizzas made in a blazing hot fire oven on view from the dining room. The wonderful staff. And chief among that wonderful staff is Joy. I've had the pleasure of having her wait on my party both times I've been to Base. I appreciate her spirit and candor. I always feel welcome and special in her care. I'm always driving by this restaurant and saying that I have to try it.Today was the day and I wasn't disappointed. Base is situated at the corner of 32nd and Lincoln. The views from the patio is quite spectacular as Piestawa Peak is immediately north of this place.The patio is spacious and has about 8 tables.The inside has a relaxed ambiance with a distinct Italian flavor even though there are empty coffee sacks on the wall.We ordered the Bossco pizza as it had sausage with fennel on it. The pizza was very tasty. The Kalamata olives added a nice touch as well as flavor. It also had pepperoni, green peppers and onions on top so the overall presentation of the pizza was very inviting.Our waitress was very efficient and explained the specials clearly. She delivered our pizza promptly so we were eating within 15 minutes of arriving.My Huss kolsch was also excellent.Parking is never a problem as the parking lot is large.Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend this pizzeria.

Yummy! The Bossco pizza features sausage with fennel, pepperoni, green pepper, and an unusual twist of Kalamata olives! You can try this at home, but their pizza oven makes a perfect crust and a delicious pizza. We had a friendly waitress, who didn't ask if we wanted dessert. Maybe because we ate the whole pizza. No leftovers, sadly! Their menu has red sauce pizzas and white pizzas. Plus an array of cocktails. I do have a favorite pizza place in the Valley, but this place not only has great pizza but an incredible view from their patio. Now when I want a pizza, I have two favorite places.

Great Pizza! We had the mushroom truffle and the "Lil Pig" which is the pepperoni. Both were excellent. I had an April Spritz too which was really good and a nice size. Maria was our server and she was fabulous! Right on point with everything!! Wonderful experience! Thank you Maria!

Our first time here and we loved it! Our server, Sophia, was fantastic! She was so attentive all night making sure drinks stayed flowing. She was also super knowledgeable about everything. We loved the garlic prawns and the charcuterie board was beyond delicious! Pizza is hand tossed & wood fired, flavorful and definitely a must try. Great date night spot & though it's a bit small & noisy the entire restaurant singing Happy Birthday to another table was a highlight of the family feel you get here.

Love this pizza place! Great wood fired pizza, unique flavors and fresh, mostly organic ingredients which we very much appreciate! Great watermelon caprese and can't go wrong with any of the pizzas! Great service as well!

If your looking for delicious pizza, craft beer, and a panoramic view of the Phoenix Mountains, look no further, Base Pizzera has arrived.Base Pizzera offers so many options for toppings, on this visit we shared the "The Base" and it did not diappoint. Our pizza was just right combination of crust, quality toppings, and the sauce had a great taste.  Their pizzas are just classic and delicious. We finished off with a huge slice of the pavlova.I wish we would have ordered a larger pizza so we could have taken some home.If you're in the area give this place a try. Staff is amazing, food is delicious, the service is great, and the views are amazing.

Popped in to have an early dinner with my husband. It was a hot day but in the shade and the misters going it felt so great to be able to eat outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. Veronica was such an amazing server. She gave great recommendations and was extremely attentive. We ended up having drinks, an appetizer, pizzas and desert. Everything was so good. I haven't been here in a while and truly think the food has only gotten better. The watermelon caprese was so simple yet amazing. I'll be recreating this all summer long. This is such a great date night option when you want good food, great service, a wonderful view all without breaking the bank.

Good place for pizza if you are in the area- crust is a nice balance of crisp and chewy. Burrata pizza with roasted garlic was good but would try something different next time. Friendly staff and and a nice patio.

The wood fired pizza was really good. The espresso martini was decent. Atmosphere is awesome. The cobbler was to die for! Service was quick and prompt with answers.
