Great food choices in the hot bar. Amazing olive bar and olive oil selection. They have an ingredients list for allergy items found on the hot bar.

Barons is one of my local grocery stores and I love to shop local. I'm just so very impressed with the staff and how friendly and helpful they are the store is always clean and anytime I've had any questions or issues, management without question, has always provided impeccable and professional service. I feel like they create a healthy work environment because even the cashiers seem happy to be there. It's not always the least expensive place to shop, but I'll pay a few extra pennies for the convenience and also the assurance that the shopping experience will always be pleasurable!I wrote the above review a few months ago but never posted it. Here's a photo I took yesterday of someone taking pride in the workplace. This fruit looks amazing !

I hands down prefer this store to Whole Foods! The location is a lot better, and so is the parking lot. They have a great selection of food quality fresh produce, and surprisingly their pre-packaged food is in great shape too.

Great place to buy organic and healthy foods. Salad bars, deli, meats.. clean store friendly staff and very accommodating.

I just want to say that I had such a pleasant interaction with a salad bar helper person, named DENISE!! She was very pleasant and you can tell she liked her job!Rare nowadays!I complimented on how good of a job she was doing, she said it was her 2nd day!!WOW!I'll be back for the nice full salad bar!

I just love my local Barons which has replaced the old Fresh n' Easy from back in the day. Parking gets tight but don't forget the parking garage below. I usually walk here. Plenty of options for hot/cold foods, can get your freshly squeezed orange juice, and my favorite raw garlic spread. They also have the best variety of olive oils, flavored and balsamic vinegars too. Place is always clean, and staff are always friendly :)

Barons Market is my new place to go for prepared foods and some decent pastries in small amounts. I remembered when this spot used to be Fresh n Easy but that concept died.What I like most about it is availability of parking (critical in an area like 32nd and University. The heart of North Park dining with fast food and restaurants is a parking nightmare during peak times for brunch or other events.Their prepackaged foods are the best because of the lower cost than Lazy Acres from my former area in Mission Hills. However inflation is catching up since my costs on the last run was higher than expected. The have a pasta, olive and salad bar. They have a soup station as well as hot station with some meats and or sides that you can choose from.The hot station is not as appealing. The pasta and soup section are my go tos. Love the shrimp gumbo, I only get the smallest container but I still am not able to finish it. They also have both steak and vegetarian chili. In the pasta section, favorite is the lemon linguine with tomatoes. The best part of the prepackaged section is the serving size of the meals. My husband no longer eats big meals so that portion normally will be served to him twice.The bakery section consists of breads etc but I normally buy some of those elsewhere. The dessert section with choices baklavas or madeline cookies. For me a smaller place is good for some things like Trader Joe's. So I normally make Barons 1 of 3 groceries I go to on Sunday. Definitely a nice quiet place to shop without the hustle and bustle of a TJ.

So grateful this opened in my neighborhood, no need to venture to Point Loma.This is a gem of a store, small thou just the right size for a neighborhood market.Ample parking in front and also there is an underground one and entrance on another side of the street.Welcoming entrance with beautiful arrangements of indoor plants. Yay! There is hand sanitizer, everyone entering must wear a mask.I love their selection of vinegars and olive oils from Italy. I bought white peach vinegar, pomegranate balsamic vinegar and the fig balsamic. Great all year for seasoning salads, fish and fruits. The quality and value surpasses any products I have encountered.Friendly service and professional.I buy organic produce here and a little pricey thou quality is tops.They have products that are truly unique and not able to find anywhere else. I love there frozen gelato brand called Cadia, exceptional quality.Come stop by and support your Baron's market. My new favorite place to shop.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. For a small place they have a huge selection for what you're in the mood for. They offer a great freshly made soup and deli type foods. Their selection of beers etc.. will definitely quench your thirst. I highly recommend you give this place a try and I promise you'll be back for more.

The produce here is the nicest in town. They have some beautiful plants too if that is your weakness. Nice selection of healthy items at good prices. Store is clean and well kept up. I would give them 5 stars but the cashier wasn't very nice to me.
