I bought Barney's barbeque for the first time on last Wednesday and I was very disappointed, I got pieces of ribs it looked like they was cut in 2 inch sections and the potato salad was watery the baked beans tasted like trash. I didn't even eat all of it. It was a waste of my money.I definitely do not recommend it

As you know, I proclaim to be a self proclaimed BBQ Judge. Being breed, born, and raised in Texas, I know my BBQ. I generally judge food as nasty, alright, good, delicious, or Slap Yo Momma Good. The BBQ from Barney's is alright. Pretty much everything was alright. It's not the worst, but it's certainly not the best. It's actually around average, perhaps a little below average. The food looks better than it taste. It's not nasty, it's just not memorable. I ordered it via Door Dash and it was nicely packed in a tamper proof bag. I doubt I'd order from here again. That's all I've got to say about that.

The sides were much better than the meats I thought. Cobbler is terrible. Overall.... Super expensive, and I would think the portions would be a bit bigger due to the high price. ?? so that was kinda irritating. Definitely not my first choice for BBQ in H town.... But I live on the same street just two blocks away, so the drive-through is handy in times of desperation.... And when I can't be bothered to get out of my pajamas. Lol

Have drove past a few times and never really thought about stopping by. Recently I started to crave some BBQ and decided to go try it, my girl and me got the brisket sandwich with potato salad and a Dr.pepper. Total came out to about $30. The workers were very nice and took care of us. We went in the evening close to closing time and the sandwich was definitely still delicious I really liked how soft it was once you bit into it, definitely worth to stop by if you're considering. I will be coming back!
