I've been to various Barcelona locations around the country, but this one has such an awesome vibe! It was quite packed for a Tue night: several birthdays and a private party in the back, the place was hopping! Brandon the GM was a fantastic host to all and treated birthday guests with wine shots from the porron...what a delightful show and the fun was just infectious. Barcelona has some amazing regular items on their menu, but each location features special items based on what the Chef has locally. I tried the pulpo which was quite impressive in its tenderness. The roasted broccolini had delicious char and lemon hint, and the pork belly with pear mostarda was delicious, though the portion was a bit small. The staff here was just stellar: from Isabella who was at the front to Rafael (one of the Managers and also a sommelier) who recommended a fantastic assortment charcuterie based also on his recommended wine pairing to Max who was the other Manager, to Madison was fabulous server, this location is a standout from all the other locations. Great food, fun atmosphere, and a staff who understands what fabulous service means.

Probably one of my favorite meals in Boston.Super busy on a Sunday night but they were able to seat us without reservations. There is seating outside and insides it is loud and busy inside but still a great date night spot. The service was super quick and friendly. The server always made sure that we were satisfied with our meal and the manager even came by to make sure that we liked our meal. Our server Brian was super helpful with ordering. The food came out super quick and everything was delicious. The housemade bread was amazing! It was so fluffy and came out warm. Perfect to eat with the housemade ricotta. The housemade ricotta came with two slices of toast but the housemade bread was a better pairing. The Aperitivo board was perfect for the two of us! The patatas bravas was delish on the board. We could not stop eating them. Loved the mix of meat and cheese. The pickled veggies were great too!The pulpo was so tender and nicely seasoned. I loved the spicy sauce it came with. The grilled zucchini was not overly cooked and mushy! Loved that it still had a bite and served with a spicy sauce. The paella was great! I like the fact that you can get a half order! Perfect for two!

I may have reached the point of no return where I've become the old man that yells "Get off my lawn, you rotten kids!" I realized that when Jamie W and I entered this darkly stylish tapas restaurant. We were drawn here because the name Barcelona evoked one of our favorite travel destinations. However, this was more of a Gen Z gathering spot given the deafening music they were playing over their speakers. One song that got on my nerves was "Don't Trust Me" by 30H!3 where they repeated the lyric "Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips!" Ugh. How juvenile. Good thing we were separated from all the cool people who couldn't see me pinching my nose during the song. Fortunately the food was a marked improvement over the cacophonous music. We decided to share four plates since it was a tapas place after all.The rustic sourdough toast sticks and olive oil arrived at our table (photo: https://yelp.to/53BAII0AwY). We started with the $9.50 Grilled Chicken Thigh which was ladled with mojo verde (photo: https://yelp.to/LZ_3TVgz1N). Tasty and tender with a spicy kick. This was followed by a couple of veggie plates, the $9.50 Roasted Mushrooms with a thick scallion chimichurri sauce (photo: https://yelp.to/QfIdSmWRKs) and the $8 Grilled Zucchini with salsa verde and Calabrian pepper (photo: https://yelp.to/f6k8rh_Iv3). Both were just fine. The last dish was the $28 half order of Paella Salvaje where the savory bomba rice was mixed with chicken, pork belly, chorizo, chickpeas, green olives, carrot, and cilantro (photo: https://yelp.to/YGYir71IHS). That was easily the most satisfying part of our meal. Perhaps it was the curmudgeon in me, but the club-like atmosphere just wasn't enhancing our dining experience at all. I might be the wrong demographic to do the Helen Keller.FOOD - 4 stars...paella was stellar, everything else was pretty goodAMBIANCE - 2 stars...there's an audience for dark, loud and crowded...it's just not meSERVICE - 3 stars...they blitzed around usTOTAL - 3 stars...too dark and loud for my tasteRELATED - Exploring Boston? We came here on a Friday early evening. The place was already pretty packed considering the time we went. The food arrived quick upon ordering. I was expecting the food to be great however it was hella average. None of the dishes stood out to us and we don't think we will be back. Giving three stars just cause service was good.

Don't walk, RUN to Barcelona wine bar. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The tapas style of dishes allows for you to try so many things all delicious! My favorite of all is the croquettes. I could eat 100 of these! The steak dish was also a new item menu added that day and was also delicious. It was a nice evening out so we sat outside on the patio which was gorgeous. The servers were also super friendly and helpful when it came to picking from their endless options. This is a must try restaurant and I will definitely be back soon!

Food and service was amazing here! We were a group of 4, went on a Friday night around 7 and the place was already crowded. Although busy our server was super attentive. We mainly got the tapas (roasted mushroom, grilled pulpo, croquetas) and they were all so good. Our favorite were the croquetas and the aioli it came with was so good we ordered extra on the side. Our main meals were also delicious (pictured below) each meat was marinated and cooked to perfection. The only complaint is the squid ink pasta, we each got a scoop out of it before noticing a piece of hair. We told the server and she took it back immediately. We got a bite out of it and did not like the taste. It was super salty and the pasta chosen was very short and felt like broken spaghetti. Overall would go again, the service and rest of the food were amazing!

Came here with the family on a Saturday night. We're seated right away on the patio. For kids options, they offer chicken tenders and pasta with butter. My kids had the pasta and liked it. The tapas are all incredible, but small as is traditional. I would recommend 3 per hungry adult. The bread is amazing and served hot out of the oven. I recommend asking for more as they bring out more tapas. Our favorite tapas were the shrimp, scallops, and potato omelette. Prices were as expected. Service was very good. My daughter wanted some grated parmesan cheese for her pasta, they didn't have so they actually grated another kids or cheese on a cheese plate just for her.

I've been to Barcelona a bunch of times and this was hands down the best experience yet. Our waitress Kati was OUTSTANDING! The next time I go back, I will be requesting her as our waitress.
