Great low key place. Cozy ambiance. Much better than anywhere on Broadway. Variety of seating options. Easy to have conversations with people. The taco place inside the bar has some of the best street tacos I've ever had. I also highly recommend the corn off the cob.

A fantastic atmosphere was greeted by the Best host when you walked in. Yes, he had four legs.

If only for a beer. This place is is cool AF. Stay for the food. Chill staff. ....THANK-YOU!!!

Really like this bar when it isn't super busy! They always play really good music and their food and drinks are amazing! It's a narrow bar so for me it's not the best environment for when there are a lot of people.

Great low key bar off the beaten path, went on a Friday night, great bartenders great drinks great music, great people, great atmosphere.Went back 2 nights later on a Sunday night and had a different bartender who was really arrogant and rude. Saw several people leave in frustration waiting for drinks, we also left as we couldn't get the bartenders attention while he was hitting on two girls at the end of the bar.This place is exactly the kind of bar that we love to go to, this one bartender ruined it for us and probably won't go back.

Was visiting Nashville and stopped in after finding this bar on Yelp... Such an awesome spot!!! Very eclectic and fun decor. Bartenders were incredibly nice-- recommended a whiskey and a gin to try and were just overall chill, great people. Got a few tacos as well-- very tasty!! Perfect place to stop for a drink or two!Note:. They have a few food items and I'm sure they're all great, but seems like it's more meant to be like a "grab a little something" type of food place. Although, I would eat 6 tacos here and be perfectly content with food.... So up to personal preference

Great service, the owners and staff care about their repeat customers! The bar dog, Pablo, is adorable! He loves people, doesn't beg, and keeps a watchful eye on the place. Drinks are what you'd expect & if you don't like it, they are good about fixing it or making you another one. Definitely recommend to any passersby or newbies looking for a cool spot.

I was recently in Nashville for work. I found Bar Sovereign to be a great off Broadway place to go (near all the downtown hotels). I was by myself but I met friendly patrons both nights I was there. The staff were fun, quirky and engaging. THIS PLACE HAS AMAZING TACOS! I really enjoyed this place and hope to go back in next time I'm in Nashville.

What a COOL bar!! Found this place while looking for the Hawaiian food restaurant, which happens to be inside this place all the way in the back of the bar. I loved the unique decor of the place. I loved my PSL cocktail too! This is really off the beaten path of the normal Nashville craziness and so awesome!!

Cool vibe in the bar. Pablo the dog is the greeter. Bartenders are great. Best tacos in Nashville!!!
