Bar Blanc

Wow!! This spot has a simple fixe fare menu consisting of steak, frites, bread/butter and salad. You start out with the salad which was very refreshing then you get the bread and butter (Kerrygold)/Olive oil. P.S. you can ask for more bread/butter and even frites!After that the steak and frites come. The steak was amazing! We elected for the normal New York strip but there was also an option to upgrade to the dry age for $20 more at $69.50 vs $49.50 for the normal fixe fare. The steak was cooked to perfection had had such great flavors and perfectly seasoned. It came with a nice creamy bearnaise sauce and the fries came with a garlic aioli that was phenomenal. Our group went through some seconds of bread as well as frites which were fried to perfection it was so crispy and excellent overall. They have an extensive cocktail menu however with very few descriptions so we had the server who was knowledgeable on all the drinks explain.The spot is great in a dark ish environment sitting on top of the Little Sparrow restaurant with whom they share the bathroom. All in all really enjoyed this restaurant and love the concept.

Stopped in for dinner on a busy Saturday and unsurprisingly there was about a 1:30 wait. The restaurant has a small interior but makes good use of outdoor seating. We ended up waiting closer to an hour. Service was fine throughout the meal, not super notable either way. Our party ordered a dirty martini and highball, both of which were solid. The bread, butter, and salad came out first. The center of the bread was good but the ends were a bit hard. The salad was good but we got one small bowl for 3 people while other tables got 2 bowls for 4. Our salad also didn't have the same cheese on top either. You only get refills of the bread --not the salad.The steak was cooked well but had quite a bit of fat to trim off while the fries were crispy and tasty. I probably could have used a little bit more salt and pepper. You also get the choice of 3 sauces -- béarnaise, garlic aioli, and ketchup. The béarnaise was a little bland -- the garlic aioli was so much better. Overall, a not a bad meal but overpriced for what you get; some bread, a couple bites of salad, not very much steak after you take off the fat, and fries. The fries are bottomless but not exactly a super expensive item and at least personally I have a grease limit to how many fries I can eat. It's also probably more worth it to go with 4 people than 3. I had a fun evening with friends but would not necessarily recommend or be dying to return.

Underwhelmed. I had high expectations coming in after Little Sparrow, but this just wasn't as good. We had a group of 4 at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, 8/14/24. There was no wait for outside and over an hour wait for inside, so we sat outside. Outside was very lovely!Seeing as the only thing on the menu is the steak, that's what we got. The fries were very good. The salad was fine. The bread was great. But the steak was average. My husband makes better steak at home. Bar Blanc's steak needed seasoning. I feel like they rely on the Béarnaise sauce to provide the flavor, but even that was subpar.Oh well.

Beautiful atmosphere with a long wait. Considering that they have a fixed menu, there should not be much of a wait for the bread and salad to stay your meal. We arrived, put our names on the list, had a drink at the bar, ordered a second round of drinks at the bar and were finally seated. Supposedly is unlimited fries, but our server did not mention that or offer to bring us more fries.

I had a chance to check out Bar Blanc for a Friday night dinner. The inside is not as big as I thought it would be but they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. I ordered an old fashion from the bar while I waited on my table. It was good. I was seated and they have a standard menu that consist of bread, salad, steak and fries. Everything was really good and flavorful! The service was good as well. I enjoyed my dinner here and would come back.

Such a fun spot for a date night or fancy girls night! They only have one things to order for food so it makes it very easy! They have a prix fixe menu for $49ish that gets you steak, unlimited fries, salad and a baguette. The steak was so tender and delicious. Truly melt in your mouth! The fries are so crispy and delicious! The salad is simple but tasty and a good starter. They have simple but strong cocktails! They have some indoor seating and quite a bit of outdoor seating. Inside isn't very suitable for groups, but they did have a few tables outside that would accommodate bigger parties.

Fixed menu with fries, salad, and steak. The restaurant is above little sparrow, but the food seems to come from their kitchen. Cocktails were delicious. Food came out quickly and the fries were so tasty! The bar is so pretty and an intimate space while you wait for your table. Expect a wait at this busy restaurant!

Brilliant! Sexy, delicious non-alcoholic cocktail in the lounge to start.... decor is scrumptious, meal is perfection. Don't think... Just sit and enjoy your company. Expertly prepared meal, delivered timely and seamlessly with wonderfully scrumptious dessert choices. I found it to be abjectly everything.
